Awesome hole-in-the-wall donut shop. They carry the standard donut options at an awesome price. There is a drive thru and you can walk-in with seating. It is located around the back of the Safeway strip mall on Wilmot Rd. South of the intersection at Golf Links. The location is very clean and the employees are very friendly. There pricing is very reasonable AND THEY HAVE BOBA DRINKS.Not only do they do great donuts they also have great Boba options, and the pricing on the boba is very reasonable. Please come visit and see how a small local business can do things RIGHT!

Love these donuts this is the same own that was at the old donut wheel location on Kolb and Golflinks that is now a Starbucks. My kids love their donut holes, long John's, and jelly filled powder donuts. My favorite is the cake donuts yummm. Was so happy when I pulled up to the window it was the same owner of the original "donut wheel" her new location is nice and the building is brand new and bigger location. They offer more coffee drinks, and other food options as well. They had donut holes still and I went like around 11ish on a Sunday morning so that was awesome.

Went by here on 12/20 on Wilmot Street on Tucson; nice atmosphere and friendly service. I bought a couple of Bearcats, cinnamon buns, and an apple fritter for my wife which she loved. My son and I ate the rest. Some of the best donuts in town.

I love that they reopened their location! While it may have been quite awhile ago, I just recently stumbled on their new home after getting pushed out of their last spot on Kolb. They have THE best donuts, and super friendly family owned business. I will tell you - they may have the best apple fritter on the planet here. If it would not make me sick, I could literally just sit and eat their apple fritters all day. The donuts are always fresh tasting, even if you hit this spot later in the day. Our favorite Tucson donut spot!

Best donuts in Tucson. Super cheap with a wide variety of flavors and styles. They make plenty each day so you don't have to worry about them running out.

You can read my review of their old account when they were on Kolb before the landlord decided to get rid of them and put in....a Starbucks. Yeah, we don't have enough Starbucks around here.First of all, in the column of sample reviews to my right, someone says that "they have cut the donuts in half the size they used to be." Blatantly incorrect. They are the same size as they used to be. All still the same heavenly goodness they have been."K" is her name, the owner. What a nice new shop they have. Brightly lit, more tables, more room, more room for them behind the counter, larger display cases. Now about their donuts--these ARE the best in Tucson, period. Change my mind. I've had everybody's donuts in Tucson. These are the best. There are several that are a close second. But none that match these delectable beauties.Their glazed donuts are so light and fluffy, melt-in-your mouth. Krispy Kremes dream of being this good. The Boston Cremes are a delight. Everyone that I have given one two immediately goes "Mmmmm...." on their first bite. The chocolate and maple long johns, emphasis on "long," are so good. I am not an apple fritter fan--except for theirs.Let's not forget their croissants. Their breakfast croissant is to die for. The ham and cheese croissant--yum! The pastry is SO flaky. And it is BIG.Sometimes it takes a little long to get your order filled. Here's why: * They are popular and have a line in the store and in the drive-thru. * It might be one of those shifts where Kay could not hire enough help and it's just her or just her and another employee. It's worth the wait.It is totally "mind-blowing good":5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money.4* = Outstanding. Tucson-top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business.3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it.2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money.1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

Hands down the best apple fritter I've had in a long time! The ham and cheese croissant warmed up was delicious as was the glazed old fashioned. Service was friendly and helpful. My family loves this place and they are only disappointed when I come home with one donut each lol!

K Donut Wheel serves excellent donuts at a fair price! I brought in 2 dozen donuts for a function, and everyone absolutely loved them. I was sad because they were all gone by the time I could try one. Luckily, I returned to K Donut Wheel for my own donuts. The massive cinnamon roll was a delectable crossover between a donut and a traditional cinnamon roll. One surprising standout was the old-fashioned donut that melts in your mouth. Every donut I tried was not too heavy and greasy; they were light and airy. As a protip, bring some cash with you. They accept credit cards, but there is a small fee. Overall, choose K Donut Wheel over the big donut chains any day! They are a crowd-pleaser and did not disappoint.

I was anxious to try the new location, as I used to frequent the Donut Wheel on Kolb fairly often. I recommended that a friend and I meet there for breakfast recently, and was so disappointed in my ham and cheese croissant. The croissant was doughy in the center. The ham was rolled up in the middle of the croissant, and if you tried to bite it from one side, it slid to the other side. We were not offered plates to eat in, and had to go back for napkins, which were very scarce. There was also no hand toweling in the restroom, and when I advised the girl at the counter, she said she thought that it was on order. Their other doughnuts and pastries in the glass case looked good, but I always loved the ham and cheese croissants in the past.
