Jon met with my wife and I before we had even scheduled the actual photography session. He got to know us and our family on a personal level. He wanted to capture in the image insights from that conversation. (We chose our frame today as I am writing this review and the final images captured "us.")Jon explained the process of photography, color, lighting, location, the frame. I felt informed on the choices so that I was as much a co-creator of the final picture. On picture day, Jon focused and directed our young children, and helped them laugh and participate in the experience.Within 10 days we had met again in his studio for nearly 2 hours to choose the best among hundreds photos. This takes time and consideration. My wife and I had a lot of fun.A few weeks later, we had met at his studio to see the final products and choose frames for them. Again, this took a couple hours. Choose carefully because you will have this longer than most of your furniture!In the past several years other photographers who had photographed our family did not give us a final image that lived up to our hopes and expectations.The challenge of working with Jon is that we had to be committed. If you want an hour of photo-taking and a CD-ROM with 150 photos to pick from, this is probably not the place for you. There are times when such a quick and easy process is the right pick.But for piece that we will highlight in our home for decades, it takes time: be willing to invest 8-10 hours over 6-8 weeks. We are delighted with our final photographs.

He was incredibly rude throughout the entire process. He was running an hour late the day of our portraits, and our two year old was past his nap. He stressed him out even further by being just incredibly impatient and rude to him and to my husband and I, and could not get my happy, easy going son to smile. I also couldn't believe the ridiculous prices for his mediocre portraits. I kid you not, I went another place after regrettably paying this man, and I got adorable portraits of my son for only $50. I don't understand how this man is still in business. I cannot overstate how rude he was. It was thoroughly unenjoyable from start to finish, and I hate that I ended up paying his ridiculous price for his subpar work.

I will always cherish the beautiful portraits Jon took of our family. My late husband was dying of brain cancer when we met Jon. I had wanted to get portraits of our family to cherish before he passed away. Jon not only took the portraits he created a beautiful story of love between all of us. Jon has an incredible talent of capturing the love and emotions in his photography. If you are looking for a photographer that will create a memory forever, I highly recommend Jon. He makes you feel like family.

My husband was stationed in Tucson at Davis-Monthan AFB when we stopped our infertility treatments and began to pursue adoption to begin our family. Growing up in the south, shopping malls always had displays of mother/baby portraits and having my own portrait taken with my own child had always been a dream of mine. When our daughter arrived, I made an appointment with Jon and the products of his time with us are more special than I can say. The "Mommy and Me" portrait fulfilled all my longings and expectations of what I wanted to commemorate my long-awaited motherhood. He captured the mood and feel I wanted yet the session was relaxed even with a 9 month old baby.

We had the most amazing experience with Jon Wolf capturing the most beautiful images of our growing family. We did both an indoor and outdoor shoot that turned out so special that we will cherish these memories for years to come. Jon really got to know our family so that he could create photos that reflected our love and family pride. His creative artwork and attention to detail will be proudly displayed in our home as well as our family's homes. This is something that I have wanted to do for many years and I am so happy that Jon was the person to make this wish come true. Jon is an amazing and thoughtful artist!
