Jimmy's Pita & Poke

My coworkers recommended Jimmy's for lunch, and it did not disappoint.The salmon bowl was incredible and is definitely something I'll order every time I'm in Tucson.We ordered through door dash so I was unable to experience the ambiance but they did a great job packaging our large group order.

The only other poke place I've been to in Tucson was Pure Poke and Prep, but when comparing the price and how much fish you get between the two places, Jimmy's wins. You can get two hefty scoops of protein for (I wanna say) around $16 compared to the same price for only 1 small scoop at Pure Poke. I still haven't found a poke place outside of Hawaii that has astounded me with the quality of the fish, but Jimmy's definitely satisfies the poke craving. The workers are university students and kind of expect you to know how to order the build your own bowl, so if you've never had poke before, it might be best just to order one of the Jimmy combinations. As for ambiance, Jimmy's is a small place, so a smaller group would be better for dining in! Otherwise, take it to go.

Really great option for something quick, whole food and delicious. I always get the same, can't help it... it's so good. Only thing that varies is if it's hot or poke style (cold). Heres my combo for those interested: rice, edamame, carrots, cabbage, tofu, green onions, pickled ginger, cilantro, avocado and teriyaki. Yum! Service is good. Nothing stands out and often I'm waiting at the register for a little before someone comes out from the back. Outside of that, great artwork and seating in space, bathroom for customers.

Came with my son to grab a quick healthy lunch to go. We got Reggies Bowl. All the ingredients were fresh and very tasteful. It had spicy tuna spicy salmon, has a lot of avocado jalapeño some crisps stuff on it. It was delicious. Everybody was friendly and courteous, and it was really clean inside.

Nice stop for a quick lunch or dinner to-go! The poke is pretty good and prices range from about $14-18 depending on what size bowl you select. They have a good selection of proteins and toppings. I was surprised to see that fresh avocado is even included as an option when it is often an upcharge at other poke places. They do have seating inside; however, it is fairly limited. There are some back-in only parking spots right out front on the street if they are open, but they do have a meter so be prepared to pay.

I've been going to Jimmy's Pita & Poke since 2019! Being from Hawai'i their food reminds me of home. I've personally met the owner of Jimmy's at an event and have had fundraisers here in undergrad. Amazing service on that side of things as well as great service from workers for the food. I enjoy coming back to this restaurant over and over again!

My favorite poke place in Tucson! I have been coming here since before I got into poke because they have to warm rice/pita bowls that are fantastic as well. Those and their poke options are all flavorful and packed to the brim, while maintaining a great price. Since realizing how much I like poke, this has been the place to go for me. Their salmon is definitely as good as I've had anywhere in Arizona in the tuna is pretty good too. All of the toppings are fresh, and you can get as many of them as you're feeling to really personalize your bowl. There isn't a ton of seating in there, but it's a great place for pick up or to sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere around the university. The service is always fast and they are very friendly.
