Good food not fancy very welcoming. Please take your liberal woke friends there so you can watch them in horror. This is not a vegan friendly restaurant. This is a good old fashion biscuits, and gravy, pancakes, and sausage. Beautiful chicken fried steak.

Zero stars ~ We went there with friends, not our choice nor would it have been terrible location. The food was so dry and bland and disgusting. The french fries were cooked in very bad / old oil We will not be returning here

I really enjoyed coming to the small breakfast restaurant. I had the garbage omelette which essentially has everything in it. I really enjoy how affordable this places to have breakfast for two people. The chorizo and eggs is also outstanding. I love how the service is always prompt and the coffee is always topped off. I feel with dining out being so expensive this restaurant definitely keeps an edge when it comes to like having an affordable breakfast.

My bestie and I stopped by for breakfast this last Saturday. I really like this place it's very comfortable, booths and tables scattered about. A refrigerated case to take home various baked goods. The server was amazing, food was delicious. The eggs tasted creamy even in an omelette. I recommend the home potatoes. The iced tea tasted freshly brewed as well as the coffee. Even the pancake was so fluffy and didn't even need syrup. I took home leftovers and snacked on them for lunch. You had me at hello Jethro's!

We eat breakfast here all the time and the food is good and the service is friendly. The portions are hearty. I really like their pancakes with whole blueberries cooked in or one of their giant 4-egg omelets. My companion likes the ham steak as the meat with the standard breakfast. The ham is better here than many other places. The hash browns are thinly shredded and well seasoned. Coffee is good. The decor is pure "redneck" and proud of it. They have cartoonish murals of rural people on every wall. The parking lot is somewhat strange. Prices are on par with casual breakfast.

People come to Tucson for a lot of reasons, but one of my motivations to visit is that so many restaurants devote themselves to tasty and affordable breakfasts - a nod to the snowbirds, I suppose. Jethro's is a good example of this: an independently owned restaurant/tavern that's clearly a favorite with the locals, at least judging from the number of seniors and retirees occupying the banquettes the morning I was there. The food is pretty good - standard breakfast fare, along with homemade burritos - and it comes in large quantities. I opted for the smoked ham and cheddar cheese omelette with hash browns and an English muffin, which gave me a huge 4-egg omelette, a goodly portion of very good never-frozen hash browns, and a well toasted muffin, delivered to my table in less than 10 minutes by my welcoming and friendly waitperson (dressed as a kitty cat, as today is Halloween). I always think that I'll never be able to finish entrees of this size but, invariably, I always do - particularly when we're talking breakfast. The omelette was a bit of the greasy side, likely due to all of that cheddar, but very tasty and the spuds were good as well, though next time I think I'll request extra crispy. The bill came to about $14, without coffee. The atmosphere is your basic red neck wanna-be, with flags and airbrushed hicks (and John Wayne) painted on the walls. It didn't feel aggressively red, though I didn't talk politics or listen in on any of the other guests' conversation, but your mileage may vary.

I hadn't been to Jethro's in several years, and my, has it expanded. There's an extra room with a bar now. I guess they have live music and karaoke on some evenings. I met a friend there for breakfast recently. I ordered an omelette with sourdough toast, and they were kind enough to offer me a small salad for my side since I'm unable to have some of the other choices. My omelette was huge! Four eggs in it and generous toppings. It was delicious. The salad was fresh, with crisp veggies. There's no way I could eat all of the food in one sitting! I got two more filling meals out of it. My friend had the hash with two eggs. It came with toast, and she got fruit (various melons) for her side. Again, way too much food for her. I appreciate a place that gives generous portions. Our server was wonderful. I need to go back and try some other meals, maybe lunch next time!

5 STARS , 5 STARS, 5 STARS!!!!! Great home cooking, happy employees, friendly humble atmosphere, clean, patriotic!!! Friend and I happened upon this place while touring the Gem Show. We each ordered liver and onions and it was out of this world!!!......cooked to perfection, big plate, sides were made fresh. The chef/cook at Jethro's deserves a gold medal!! We promised ourselves to make ANY excuse to return to Jethro's for another helping........(we live in Phoenix). It's that good.
