Jerry Bob's Family Restaurant

Met friend who frequents this location . Service very good friendly not crowded thur 11am . I thought prices seemed high for basic breakfast ? Maybe I'm out of the loop ? Times have changed used to have good specials ?

Never heard of this franchise before and very happy I've dodged it for so long. We settled on this because all the well-known breakfast spots had 30+ minute waits, even at noon. I'd imagine they had a few tables open for a reason. I had a breakfast sandwich with homefries, and it's like someone actively tried to make an even worse version of Denny's. The sandwich is made from a biscuit, and it does not hold up well, disintegrating into crumbles after the first bite. Guess it's more of a breakfast sandwich bowl now! For whatever reason, they used American cheese like it's a fast food joint, and the bacon was forgettable. My poor potatoes could have used bell peppers or onions, something more than just salt. I guess there's tabasco and ketchup to jazz things up, as this isn't a salsa-having sort of diner. Service was pretty slow despite a lot of empty tables, but it's not like they weren't busting their rear ends keeping this machine going. Tipped well, thanked them, and immediately decided I probably won't return.

The prices have changed. For old style family food, fast and tasty, nothing fancy - this is the spot for good comfort food. I went because it was close, had breakfast and the prices looked great, BUT, the menu was an older one, and we all know the price of eggs went up. Don't let that stop you though.

Went there this morning. Apparently they were understaffed. After not being seated we seated ourselves. One waitress was doing everything for entire place. After ten minutes waiting for order to be taken and seeing party of eight ordering after waiting as long as we were we left. Please delete pics on yelp of menu. Prices have increased a lot.

Victor was our server, his service and attitude were awesome, he made genuine conversation and was very productive...he was smoothly handling clients, answering phones and seemed to be checking on everyone.This isn't our 1st time at Jerry Bob's (there are several locations each one different) it's always been pricey in my opinion and the serving size always seem to be lacking. Maybe it's the presentation. Flavor wise...home run with the chorizo and salsa!! It was the star of both meals. Eggs were perfectly cooked, the coffee was fresh and piping hot. The corned beef was average, nothing to write home about. Overall this location is older, the lighting was a little too dim for my liking, stained ceiling panels enhanced that old time feel (not in a good way)

You can pretty well guarantee finding near-identical menu items at every Jerry Bob's in Tucson. There does exist some variation, at times, on things like the Friday fish fry, the early morning breakfast specials and the rotation of daily specials, among other things. So, when that it is the case, what makes all the difference is what ambiance and service a particular location provides. For that reason, the Jerry Bob's on Broadway at Rosemont has long been my favorite location. I love the folks there, the space and the specials.However, I periodically find myself at other Jerry Bob's locations in town and, aside from the one near the Tucson airport, have a comparable experience as this one here off of Campbell: swift, nondescript service in a bland space. There is absolutely nothing about this location that I have found to be too-too detrimental. It serves predictable food at excellent prices with hefty portion sizes a small wait, if that. Consistent. But that is all that it is. Regulars may have something entirely different to say.

Avoid this location at all costs. It used to actually be good but now it's inedible. I picked up to go order and their chicken fried steak is now a freezer burned pre fab patty. Asked for gravy on the side and in spite of the place being empty they botched that request. The cheesey eggs I ordered were green inside when I cut into them. The place was empty but with dirty tables, it was just gross inside. Avoid this shit hole.

I love Jerry Bobs... we have been to several, but it has been a few years since we have gone. We decided to go today for breakfast. I sat down with my kids and was never greeted. We waited 15 minutes and another couple walked in and sat down. The server IMMEDIATELY went to them and offered drinks. Meanwhile, we had been waiting and was seen by several servers. They even cleaned the table right next to us. We left after waiting and went to Guadalajara down the street. Where we had food within 15 minutes. Super disappointing and will not go back to this location.

I was looking for a simple diner with some pancakes for me and the boy and that's what I found here. I will take away one star simply because the atmosphere is a bit sterile. When dining I like a little but of music to distract me from the sound o kitchen prep and other people conversations. Other than that, we walked in to a clean establishment, seated ourselves and received immediate service. The menu is what you would expect we ordered and our food came out in a timely matter. There server was friendly and checked on us after a couple minutes and refilled my coffee three or four times. I looked at some of the poor reviews and I have to say that it pisses me off when someone bags on a place when it's busy and their service is less than stellar. These reviews should cover every aspect of the business not just your little world! I see some deviated from the menu and was upset about an up charge. This menu is so cheap anyways, how can you complain about $1.20?I will just stop here and say I will go here again.

Found ourselves in town around lunchtime and with blood sugar dropping and desiring to eat as healthy as possible, stepped into Jerry Bob'sWife ate breakfast food and I selected lunch.As usual, we were happy and were served within a reasonable period of time and we were happy.
