I was impressed at first with Jay himself, very sweet guy. But, we purchased a 2016 Subaru Legacy from this dealership that only ever gave us problems for the first two years we had it. First our battery literally lit on fire, apparently mechanics didn't bolt down the battery tight enough which caused it to spark into flames! They fixed and replaced it. But then a few months after the whole car wouldn't start, I had to take it to 2 different mechanics whom didn't know what was wrong with it so we had to tow it to Subaru dealership itself and found out there was an aftermarket wired placed in the car which went out and that was the whole reasoning for the car not starting. We had to pay 700.00 out of pocket! Then, the transmission cage was defective which wasn't allowing our car to run properly, and the horn went out. We only were able to fix the transmission part which costed us yet another 1,000 from Subaru. After that our fuel pump went out also and we had to fix it . Mind you we always up-kept with routine maintenance with this car.l and there was still so many hidden items secretly wrong with this car and temporarily fixed until someone bought it off their lot and it was their problem. I wouldn't recommend a vehicle from this place. I put ALOT of money to this car, thank god it's finally paid off...

I think they have new mgt... used to be an OK dealer, now run by a real jerk... or team of jerks... cars are WAY overpriced, check KBB.com first then run away.

My nightmare Ford Focus came from Jay Auto Sales. When I attempted to give the car back after I found out about it's transmission issues, I was told to just "Go to Ford". Car was a lemon from the start, and didn't include back headrests, or the trunk cover. Who sells a car without the back headrests? Overpriced vehicles that have problems. Do not buy from this dealer

after my wife got her car we found some problems with it. first Dave suggest that Middies was wrong about the shocks and struts being worn out . He wanted his mechanic to look also. We went around to the so called shop to see a guy with a pile of mismatched tools dumped in a box. I toll my wife I dont trust a mechanic that wont take care of his tools. salesman Dave proceeds to start yelling at me . Threatens me saying he would kick my gimp a-- . and yes I am disabled. I walk using a walker or Cain. Should have called the police but wife just wanted to go. Still think I should contact the BBB. the cars are good but for gods sake stay away from Dave.

After a good month and a few hundred miles between Tucson and Phoenix. We ended our hero's journey back where we started. David, the well seasoned Veteran who helped us word's of wisdom still stung in my ears as we ended back up on the Lot of Jay Auto Sales. "Well you can drive as far as you want, but it don't get no better than this". He was correct. After mentally sparring with just about every high volume used vehicle dealer, down to the modest of family used vehicle lots. It was true. Jays Auto Sales is the Real Deal and can be trusted with my hard earned money. We told David our salesman we wanted something under a certain amount with specificities such as safety and reliability to be paramount. The FIRST car he showed us ended up being the car we purchased after exhausting hundreds of aggregated options down to three.Jay's won out on Three Principles:1: Value for Dollar: The Subaru Impreza he showed us was priced reasonably to start with. I had a concern over the price and they even were open to compromise to within reasonable terms! 2: Peace of mind: Jay gives you 3 months / 3,000 mile powertrain warranty!!! Arizona LEMON law provides protection for 15 days or 500 miles of travel for used cars, whichever comes first. (MANY DEALERS (I won't name them) try to claim AZ Law as THIER own warranty this is misleading...at best.))3. No FLUFF. Just how it really is. - David and the Staff there just get it done and if they can't make the deal happen, well they'll tell you that too. - I NEVER felt pressured by Jay Auto Sales. - That fact alone is reason enough for me to be grateful to write this review as a reminder for myself...Like all my reviews.Good on ya !

I had a fantastic experience with Aresh (so sorry if I misspelled) . He was professional and friendly. I told him what I could afford and did not push me on the price. He patiently walked me through his lots to find the one. He was so helpful and knowledgeable. They carfax all of their cars which made feel at ease. David jumped in when I came back to finish the deal. Thank you so much for your service. If we need another vehicle this is where I'm going.

Dave "Mr Subaru" was delightful to work with. He was very easy going and helpful, and delivered the vehicle to our front door free of charge. Jay's does apparently have lower fees than others in Tucson. Great dealership, happy to find you guys!

Helped daughter locate a car. Went to a few dealerships and wasn't getting the vibe we were hoping for- until we stopped at Jay Auto Sales. Our rep was Ismael. Very personable and proffessional. After looking at a few vehicles, found the ONE that suited our needs. No hassle transaction and sales service was stellar. Jay Auto has alot to offer in both car select and family friendly atmosphere.

Was observed walking up, was not greeted until I said something after going inside. Salesperson stayed inside. Was pleasant enough, though. All three individuals I spoke to were basically pleasant in demeanor. Test drove a car unaccompanied by salesperson. When I returned, salesperson was gone, delivering a car to another customer, and no one knew or cared that I had returned. Before they realized he was gone, I was waiting for 10-20 minutes. No one was available to talk with me about the test drive or discussing next steps, even though I was the only customer in the building. I was interested in the car, too. But, it was only $7,999. Maybe that's why he left. The owner was somewhat solicitous but all-in-all I felt like it didn't matter whether I bought or not.
