Jane Hamilton Fine Art

This is a wonderful art gallery nestled in a charming shopping center in the beautiful foothills of Tuscon AZ. We were fortunate enough to meet the owner, Jane Hamilton, while we were browsing the art in her gallery. Jane filled us in on the backgrounds and history of many of the artists she represents. She has an amazing and eclectic collection of art works ranging from paintings to large metal sculptures. The more we looked around, the more we were impressed. There is some beautiful artwork here but this woman is rude and condescending. I certainly wouldn't want her representing me as an artist.

Please stop stuffing so much stuff in one place. I found Jane to have NO decorum. She didn't even get off her dirty red sofa to greet us. The gallery is dirty and messy. It's not the artwork it's the lack of knowing how to put it together. Perhaps if Jane got off the sofa and cleaned and put stuff away it would be a better day at this "fine art gallery"

I have been to Jane Hamilton's Fine Art Gallery over the 25 years we've been in Tucson. Jane started out in in a small gallery in Bisbee. She finally made her way into Tucson in the early 2000's in the Jostler Shopping Center on Campbell and River. Since then she had made her way onto the Shopping Center at Campbell and Skyline. Right now, the gallery is filled with beautiful pieces from oils, to sculptures, some jewelry, The Art is some Modern, some Western Art, some furniture. Today there was a reception for Peter Eisner who has several pieces of sculptures at the Jewish Community Center Gallery. There are some really amazing pieces of his that combine glass pieces with metal work. He has crafted the most beautiful cocktail tables infused with glass colorful designs. Jane is really a very lovely lady who you can tell enjoys all the pieces of work she shows. It is one of the best and favorite of my Art Galleries in town. The prices are really fairly moderate compared to some other galleries. It is worth the trip to see the shop.

I have been a client and friend of Jane's going on 30+ years , since my move from L.A. From her gallery in Bisbee in the '90s , to her galleries over the years here in Tucson , including her long standing present location on Skyline Drive at Campbell Blvd , and without a doubt , this gallery experience is always my most pleasant and most comfortable one. No stuffy , nose in the air , prices hidden , can't be bothered with you attitude, Jane has always been welcoming with an absolutely no high pressure vibe. I've purchased several paintings from Jane's gallery over the years , and have posted a few of them here. Her gallery shows are always fun and educational. Also nice to meet some of her artists in residence at these get togethers. Jane has the patience of Job with everyone who walks through her doors and is always engaging and gracious. The artwork in the gallery covers a wide range of subject matter and their price points cover a variety of affordability that won't disturb your savings account or sensibilities . Consider getting out of the heat and walking into Jane's wonderland of creativity. Try it , you'll definitely like it.

This is a beautiful gallery with helpful and courteous staff. I enjoyed getting background information about many of the artists. Jane and Heather are so professional and courteous - they really made me feel welcome. Thanks so much!

Fabulous. This is the a wonderful shop with a team that truly cares about the pieces they sell. We bought a dining table and chairs, hand painted from Sticks. Jane organised the whole thing, including delivery to Great Britain. Just excellent.

After my wife and I began thinking about buying an original painting we started exploring several galleries in Tucson. When we entered Jane Hamilton's gallery, she was there. She was wonderful and spent a lot of time showing us different pieces. We fell in love with the works of Carla Spence. Jane made the process easy, offering to let us take a painting home to see it it worked in our home. We had never bought original art before and I was nervous about spending so much for art. We went home and both realized that we REALLY loved one particular painting and decided to return to request trying it in our home. In the second visit Jane spent even more time with us and gave us a grand tour of the entire complex where a lot of her works are on display. We had a great time, then borrowed the painting we liked to take home. I returned several days later and paid for the painting. We love it and I have no regrets about spending money to adorn our home. What better way to spend money than bringing oneself joy? Jane was enormously helpful. I look forward to collecting more original art works from her. We loved a lot of the art she sells. This is a fabulous place to just go and look - a Tucson treasure! She has enriched our lives.
