James 410

First time here and they treated me very well. They gave me what I wanted for my trade and did all the paperwork for my supressor. Very nice transaction with wonderful people. Apollo is a great helper as well.

I've been going to James 410 for years, long before they were at their current location. Gary and his team are excellent, always professional, and huge supporters of law enforcement and the military. I was shocked to see the bad reviews here on yelp, as this doesn't align with my experiences dating back to 2019. I would highly recommend James 410 for any of your ammo or firearm needs.Additionally, I'll add a quick story. While serving in the military, I had a transfer sent to James 410. Unexpectedly and before I could pick up my order, the military sent me on an assignment. I reached out to Gary and explained the situation. He was understanding and fair. When I finally made it home and could pick up the order it had been months. James 410 could have charged me an exorbitant amount for storage, but they didn't! Gary is fair and honest; and I consider him a family friend.

Gary, you are so full of yourself. That is a completely made up story. I've read your other reviews and instead of taking the feedback, you personally attack any customer who dares to be unsatisfied with your service. All one has to do is read your responses to negative reviews and the can see what type of person you are. You sound more like a spoiled neophyte than anyone else. Man up and accept your shortcomings as a retailer.

Decent selection but not much in terms of customer service. I was ready to purchase a 1911 but never was acknowledged after the first greeting, I patiently waited about 15 minutes and left.

As instructed over the phone, I could bring in my firearms for appraisal and or consignment. The two times I went I was told they couldn't talk to me at the time and to come back another time. They are not close to where I live so going and hoping they'll look at my items is very inconvenient.

A friend of mine who had purchased several rifles from Gary introduced me to this place. I needed a FFL to transfer a pistol so I decided to use James 410. Easy, simple transaction. Had a chance to meet and talk with Gary. Really top shelf guy who is really interested in making sure you are taken care of and all your firearm questions answered. Prices fair and reasonable. I'll be back, no doubt.

Drove from Casa Grande (71 miles one way) to purchase a gun displayed on their website. The 2 guys looked at me like they never had that gun. 142 miles wasted trip. 2 weeks later the gun was still up on the website. Obviously, they use their site to bait people into coming.Then, I asked about a trade on another gun..."nope can't do that, you'll have to come back later". Okay, by now I am wondering what kind of craphole I wasted my time coming to. Next I asked about consignment and " nope you"ll have to come back":These people use Jesus as a moneymaker.I think they are without a doubt horrible people, and glad to never do business with them.

If lousy customer service, poor communication, and unprofessionalism is what you are looking for in a firearms dealer then look no further than James 410 Guns & Ammo.James 410 guns and ammo claims, "We are your only friend in the gun business! "Well, if this is true, then why does the owner ignore you and stay in the back office when you have come in to ask questions? Why won't he and his staff fully explain to you how the FFL transfer procedure works? Why does the staff leave you on permanent HOLD when you call the shop? Why does the owner mail me unsolicited Jehovah's Witness material? Why does the owner sell TRUMP items that have nothing to do with firearms? I wasn't even thanked for my business when the transaction was complete. My friends wouldn't treat me like this. Would yours?

Yes Gary you are gouging prices. You are even going over MSRP on some guns. No one wants to pay extra for the same thing. You act like your whole inventory isn't over priced. It most definitely is. I do a lot of gun shopping. I know prices of things, and more specifically ones being sold locally. I'm sorry you do not see it. It was NOT just one or two guns. I could literally buy almost your whole inventory cheaper at pretty much any other local gun store. You are defensive that you get a bad review. Welcome to the free world. You have the right to charge hundreds extra for same guns elsewhere. As I have the right to call you out on over pricing your inventory. You won't lose sleep over my lost sales and I won't lose sleep over not buying inflated items. No I don't care if you are good with female and new shooters as you claim, like that some award winning feature. I'm there to buy a gun and not be overcharged. Simple as that. Maybe you should do some shopping locally and realize you would sell more if your prices were adjusted accordingly. I honestly can see no reason to pay $150 over MSRP and close to $300 more than "competitors". I'm making this review so people know that you are taking advantage. You might be able to find a gun you like here but do your research. I promise you are getting ripped off. If you live near this place it will save you to drive into town and buy from somewhere else. If you are desperate or love being a charity case and stuffing this dudes Gary's pockets I guess this is the place for you.I expect more from FFL dealers like you Gary. You treat this way to much for profit and not the benefit of the people.. Wish I could have given you some business but now I'm convinced that will NEVER happen. There is absolutely zero reason to buy anything from your store. You have nothing special. The inventory and pricing is better at 4 or 5 other businesses. You are out of touch with market and value it really shows. Keep selling to the rich who have extra money to waste, newbies as you call them who may not even know the difference. Also to the unsuspected female shooters.
