Super fair price and and the nicest employees I think of many of the music store I've been in for a very long time. I got my guitar restrung and I will be going back for as long as I live in Arizona.

I recently picked up an Ibanez acoustic at a yard sale and it needed a little rehabilitation - the action was far too high, plus I wanted to get a second peg drilled for a strap. This seemed to be the only music shop in the area, so I figured I'd give it a go, expecting the usual Sierra Vista clueless employees and lackadaisical service.I was pleasantly surprised, therefore, when the technician was both able to have a look after barely a minute's wait, and seemed quite knowledgeable about his job. We chatted a bit, and he quoted me less than $20 for the adjustments I needed, as well as providing some tips on storage and problems to watch for in Arizona's climate.Since it was Friday and fairly quiet, he was able to have the work done in a couple of hours. He explained that the neck adjustment hadn't quite gotten things in alignment, so he'd also replaced the bridge at no charge. Admittedly, I'm a newbie at this, but even to my untrained ear the guitar sounded much better, and it was certainly easier to play.I didn't do a whole lot of shopping, though even I could see that this was a small shop without a huge selection of models. But, frankly, that's what you go to Guitar Center for - the important thing in a small local shop is know-how and friendly service, and they seem to have both of those in spades. Toss in the more-than-fair pricing and I was extremely pleased with my experience.

This last December I took my 11year old in and had her sized for a guitar. The guys made it a blast by allowing her to pluck a away on everything from standard acoustic, to a 4 string electric bass guitar, to a 12 string behemoth. Once they found the right size, the guitar was decent priced and a color/design she liked. My daughter also attends lessons weekly and the instructors are great. They keep keep the kids interested by keeping the lessons fun and encouraging them the entire time... Couldn't have found a better instructors or shop for my daughter to learn from.

Friendly, helpful and expedient. I took a acoustic guitar in there for neck adjustment and Keith did it on spot. He and his brother korky are the owners. They helped in a choice of new strings as I was looking for more of a blues stretch. Prices are very reasonable. Check them out.

jacobs been in sierra vista 20+years and still going strong !! i've purchased things for about 6 years and called him last week about my pedal board not lighting , turns out the inital plug that generated electricity 2 the different pedals was kaput , jacob told me on the phone he did have 1 that should work and it lit my pedals up like it was christmas !! thank u sir u r the best in the west !! i took it home and after finally plugging all the chords in the right holes , wella !! i'm back in business once again thanx 2 jacob !! I do have 1 suggestion 4 his store hours seeings most people work 2 5ish , stay open 2 at least 6pm and open at 11 am , I think this would bring u a lot more business once people caught on 2 the new hours . ONE MORE THING 4 ALL U MUSICIANS WHO SHOP GUITAR CENTERS , SWEETWATER MUSIC , AND MUSICIANS FRIENDS , JACOBS CAN ORDER U ANYTHING THEY CAN , AND U DON'T HAFT 2 DRIVE 2 TUCSON OR GO THRU THE HASSLE OF WAITING 4 A DELIVERY TO UR HOME AND RISK THE POSSIBILITY OF IT BEING STOLEN OFF UR FRONT STEP , U CAN GO ABOUT UR BUSINESS TILL UR ORDER ARRIVES AT JACOBS SAFE AND SOUND , THEN PICK IT UP THERE !!

Recenty had a chance to use Jacob's Music Shoppe technician.They fixed my guitar and showed me how my tuner was setup wrong. The owers are very friendly, helpful and professional. They also have a good selection of acoustic and electric guitars, others insturuments and accessories.

Jon knows his stuff and will treat you right! He's a working musician himself, so he's going to be able to help you from A to Z, unlike those big box stores. They have virtually everything you need NOW, so come see him and keep real music stores alive and well.

This is the place to come if you are interested in learning to play guitar.They are so patient and knowledgeable. He has a fair amount of stock and can order most anything you want for less than you might expect. I am extremely pleased with both the prices and services at Jacob's shoppe. There isn't another shoppe in the area that offer's lessons.I purchased both instruments and lessons for both my kids over the summer. Everything is going very well, I have recommended the shoppe to other parents looking for wholesome activities for their children

Been here a few times for repairs, strings, cords, etc. The shop is small but they usually have what you need. Prices are fair, you can save a dollar if you want to spend $40 on gas and 4 hours driving to Tucson and back. Staff is friendly and helpful.
