Typically serving Japanese curry rice with pork cutlet n shrimp tempura!! Good enough food quality that they were good favor in curry sauce, tempura were fired right on, not too much oily!! There's a little dry on Pork cutlet ... it's a good average Japanese Curry shop!Services were providing for delivering foods after you bought in count cashier desk!! Plus they serve Ramen too!! There are many varieties Japanese foods majorly included Curry Rice n Ramen!!!

I forgot to take a photo of my food but I had the Curry Ramen (not spicy) and my son had the same thing (spicy). The presentation was nice and the food was fresh. When you first walk in you can see so many fun decorations. It's kept really clean but you have to walk to the back to order. The employee helped us right away and suggested an international drink for my son. (Which he has gone back now and bought three times!) Have been again since then and forgot to check in!

Amazing Ramen! We have tried almost all the ramen spots in the Tucson area and this is one of the top 2. The only other ramen spot worth trying with the best real Tonkotsu broth is Ikkyu. However Ikkyu does not deliver so we always end up ordering from here on Uber if we don't feel like driving to pick up.I recommend the Spicy Tonkotsu and also the Curry Ramen if you want to try something different and like curry. The Spicy Tonkotsu comes with a thinner noodle which is great and different from other ramens because it seems to grab more of the broth. The Curry Ramen has more of a thicker traditional noodle. The only issues are that sometimes they are a bit inconsistent on portions with noodles and what they give you in terms of pork and the spice levels. Sometimes they give nice pieces of pork, other times they give you pork with huge pieces of fat. A little fat is flavorful but when it's huge globs it does make it rather gross and you have to cut most of it off to eat it, even once in a while throw the whole piece out because there is too much fat on it. Sometimes it's one piece of pork, other times it's two pieces of pork. However for the most part they are good, especially if you ask for leaner pieces ahead of time when you order. Also sometimes when you order Spicy Tonkotsu or Spicy Curry Ramen it has good amount of spice and other times it seems like not enough spice at all, so if you want the most flavor make sure you ask them to make it spicy. As well as their noodle portions, sometimes you get a good amount of noodles and other times you get not enough and leaves you wanting more. I have even paid 3$ extra for "extra noodles" on Uber but it looked exactly the same as other portions and orders in the past so I never bothered again. For 16.50$ and the upcharge that is added to prices on Uber they should always give extra noodles and two pieces of pork in my opinion. So overall amazing Ramen and my go to place besides Ikkyu, especially when ordering delivery. Very addicting sometimes I order several times a week for lunch or Dinner.

Another stopped in on a whim visit. Awesome Asian inspired decor. Very clean. Menus are displayed on the wall, again on the counter and then yet again at the register. Lots of appetizers, curry dishes and ramen. Ordered 2 dumpling appetizers, a chicken ramen bowl and a pork ramen bowl. Hope you are brushed up on your chopstick usage because there wasn't a fork in sight. Dumplings were perfectly fried, with a very savory flavor, the dipping sauce although cold as ice, I prefer mine room temperature or warmer was a nice flavor. Now on to the ramen, I personally think my previous favorite ramen house has been dethroned. This ramen was AMAZING! Perfectly soft cooked egg with savory flavor, the ramen noodles were a perfect al dente and didn't get mushy, amazing broth. Interestingly enough I can usually eat a whole bowl in one visit and this one I was full at the half way point. JA Ramen has a nice selection of Asian beverages and a soda fountain as well. The only downside if there was any and this is no fault of JA Ramen was the price. 2 appetizers 2 bowls, 2 drinks, $58 dollars. Unfortunately it appears that this is the world we live in no matter where you eat. All in all I will be back as this is now in my opinion the best Ramen house in Tucson. Happy eating all!

I have to say I'm shocked at how good the ramen is here. I got the dumpling ramen and wow it was tasty, and portion size is awesome. The vegetable tempura was awesome and my daughter got the vegan ramen and said it was so good she got spicy and said it was actually spicy for her which she loves spice. The menu is extensive and the service is as amazing.

Spicy Tonkotsu 7/10Broth is flavorful and somewhat creamy. Meat is dry and hard; it should be soft and tender. Portion is just rightCurry Ramen 6/10Flavorful but again, meat is not soft and tenderShoyu 5/10Despite it is a soy (salty) based broth, it was too salty. Meat issue as above. Ambience is nice, fit to hang out with friends for lunch or dinner. Staff is friendly.

Last night my husband and I were downtown for a concert and we wanted to try something new. We wanted something that was quick and casual but wasn't "fast food." We saw JA on the corner and it was perfect. The inside was clean and spacious, but casual as well with some fun dragonball posters on the wall. The menu was easy to understand and I really liked that they provided pictures of the menu items. If you are ordering curry you can customize the spice level as well. We ordered at the front and once ready, it was brought right to us. The fountain drinks are self serve and they did have a little table set up for the water. Our food arrived quickly and was delicious. The price might seem high, but the portion size is worth it! I tried something new with a Claim Curry at spice level 2. The flavor was great and the rice was good was just personally not a fan of the claims texture. I will definitely be back.

Came here for dinner on a Friday night and it was about 80% full. Line to order went pretty quickly. We ordered our food, got a number, our drinks, and then found a seat. They serve you your food by the number they gave you.Food came out hot and we enjoyed everything we ordered. We got 3 dishes (2 ramen & 1 curry rice) and it came out to about $50. Everything was delicious but I think I enjoyed the curry the most. We ordered a spicy 7 and it wasn't spicy enough for us. We definitely want to come back and try a spicy 10.Overall, good food and we'd definitely be back.

It's a great little ramen shop that has more than ramen. Just about perfect, but not quite there. I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could with only a couple of minor points. The hits: The ramen is good. I got the spicy tonkatsu ramen and it delivered with a thick broth and to my pleasant surprise, lots of ginger, which I love. A lot of ramen places just don't add that much, if at all. The spiciness was at a good level for me and the noodles, while thin (not my favorite), weren't hard. I don't know why every ramen I've been to in Tucson goes for the thinnest noodles possible but it is what it is.I also got the tempura appetizer for $10 which was good as well. Finally a place that's not afraid to add salt to their veggies. Just about every other place uses just unseasoned veggies which leads to a bland experience. Good sauce as well. The misses: The chashu. Thick, tough, and overdone. Good ramen chashu should melt in your mouth but this one needed a hard bite. The service hit on one of my pet peeves which is when you walk up to the counter and people can see you but no one helps or gets help because they're not a cashier. I waited about 30 seconds for the cashier to come around a corner while the two cooks just talked to each other. Not a long wait, but I just don't like standing there and being ignored by staff. The tempura needed more sauce. If you order it, ask for an extra side. The rest of the experience was excellent. Good parking, free soda refills (and large cups for ice water), clean and open atmosphere, easy-to-read menu, just a nice place overall.Next I'll try their chicken katsu curry. Looked excellent.
