I have been using Iron Horse for the last ten years or so to get my BMW parts and service. I usually have older bikes and I understand that the parts and service are going to be expensive at a dealership like Iron Horse. I have not purchased a bike from them.Generally, I appreciate that the office is quiet and no one really pressures me on sales. You often have to wait for service as they are busy or talking with each other, but they take my order and get me on the road in a reasonable time. I can place orders on the phone and pick up quickly. There are no discounts and you pay full retail, and mostly friendly.On the service side, They are busy! They have many bikes going in and out because they are pretty much the only BMW servicer in town. (Shout out to Bee Mer Werx) They have taken care of my bikes and I loved how they helped me out and talked through some work. It is expected that the cost would be higher at a dealer but they would get my approval and explain any issues...until one time they didn't.A little over 2 years ago I took my functioning 2004 R1200CLC in to change my brake lines to metal. They did a great job for the expected price but told me that the computer was having trouble talking to their diagnostic. Immediately, after I left the speedometer died, the brake light failed and warning on my iABS lights. I took it back only going about 10 miles. They really blew me off and refused to take any blame or to even do a cursory check of the issue. Based on hindsight research, they should have immediately recognized the iABS failure and gave me the info and been willing to take in to the shop to check out for 30 minutes...given what I just paid. Truthfully, because I trusted their integrity, it hurt as a customer.I still use Iron Horse for parts, I think it was just a bad day or they were busy. But it put me off going to them first. Now I order online first and go to them only if I need a part quick. I love looking at the new bikes and at the Motorrad clothing and accessories. I hope my last service experience was a one off, but it has put me off. I think they need to remember, as long as a customer is talking to you they will continue to be a customer, but if you don't listen they will leave after 1 bad experience.

I have been here several times over the years. I have never felt welcome in the store, never approached by a sales person. I have tried to ask questions of those on the floor, but I have been ignored. I have tried asking question online through their website and received no response. Many of my friends have no issues with the sales department, but since they aren't here writing this review this is based on my experiences.With all of this you might question the 4 stars. I will say their service department has been great. Whenever I call they are very responsive and helpful. The mechanics have also been helpful in tracking down issues I have had and helped me know what going on with my motorcycle and what needs to be done to fix the issue.

I am now at 21 bikes from this BMW dealer! My loyalty to Iron Horse is grounded in the high level of honest and thorough customer service.Dylan, the newest member of the group, is an excellent parts man. You have a question? He's got the answer! Need help with warranty issue? He's your advocate.James, Grant and Marcus keep me safe and sound on all of my bikes. Emergencies and insurance claims? These folks always look out for their customers.Jim, Kenny and John (the owner) personally try to give you the best value for your trades and sell their bikes at extremely competitive prices. I've always walked away feeling like the motorcycle I bought was a great deal, even when you compare with the huge volume California dealers.Bottom Line: if you want a real BMW dealer experience, this is your place.

Without a doubt the best BMW dealership I've ever been in. When traveling I've visited at least a dozen. The first time in this store was 2007 and they still retain many of the same people. That speaks loudly about the owner and how he treats the staff. i called last minute about needing an oil change. The service manager James Farris worked with me and squeezed me in. I had a few questions about helmets the parts manager Taylor very knowledgeable. I'll definitely order from her and have them shipped to me when I get back home to the Midwest. I rode away thinking I wish i had this dealer back home. If you own or want a BMW this is the store to come to. If you own a BMW store and you want to see what they should be run like. On the road from Alaska, stopped for a short notice fuel leak fix, happily done in a couple hours. So, scheduled a 12k service and flew home for a week. Returned to a ready to go GS, fully serviced and inspected with some minor repair, replace and adjust. Bike's running better, smooth and quiet so, with new confidence, am off to lower my latitude, cross into Zona Tiempo Mañana. Much thanks to Jim for knowledgeably answering my many questions, expert mechanics for their good work and Taylor for, well, being Taylor, always most helpful and charming.

I have now purchased five motorcycles from the Iron Horse Team, four from Ken. They have always been very helpful, during and after the sale. I buy all my BMW motorcycles from them, even after the Military moves me all over the US. I have purchased both in house while on leave and visiting and from out of state.
