been on hold for 15 minutes. This like 12 minutes more than I would like Henry in his super enthusiastic voice like "ugh, I'm with a customer can you hold *click!" Guess if you like corny phone music you'll enjoy this spot. Would have been a one star If they didn't sell me a decent battery couple months ago.

Wow! I am so glad I stopped in here. I live in my van and was having issues with my electrical. I bought interstate batteries the last time I had to replace my batteries and figured maybe they were going bad. That was not the problem, but John and Jay went out of their way to help fix my problem! They saved me from a potential electric fire and were so kind and patient while figuring out the problem. 1,000% recommend going here!!!!

Josh was incredibly helpful. I had never changed a battery, but he went out of his way to walk me through the process. He went above and beyond, and we would definitely recommend stopping by to see him if you're ever in need of a car battery!

Great batteries and great service and knowlege from Rebecca. My truck had an ignition problem that was draining my battery, I took it to Interstate, they replaced it for free and the warranty starts from scratch. Can't beat that. I won't put any other other battery in my truck now. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because they are closed on weekends.

This young girl was being super helpful but I guess she did something wrong. A bunch of guys started being really passive aggressive toward her and then one guy straight up yelled at her. She ended up going into the back and crying. It was very unprofessional of those jerks. I understand she may have done something wrong, but she did not deserve that disrespect. I hope she gets a better job far away from those losers.

Avoid this place, unless you want to be treated to a bunch of good ol' boys with big attitudes who aren't as smart as they think they are, and take a condescending tone to anyone who asks serious questions about their products. Interstate Batteries are quality; just buy them at Costco for a better price, less hostility, and a respite from all the religious stuff inappropriately adorning this creepy sales office.

I appreciate John and his crew at Interstate Batteries of Tucson. There are two reasons for this.First, John -- Mister Boss Man -- has 30 years of battery knowledge as well as impeccable integrity. I purchased two refurbished batteries that had to be at 100% capacity to push my RV's furnace fan while being charged by solar panels just days after the winter solstice (that is, when days were at their shortest, offering little light for charging). They weren't quite up to the task, and John not only refunded what I paid for them, he also gave me a long, thorough, but also easy-to-understand lesson about batteries, including the various ways to test them and what measurements to look for. Not only that, he gifted me both a battery lifting strap (batteries are freakin' HEAVY, probably 60-80 lbs each) and a hydrometer to test each cell's specific gravity...and this is after he showed me how to test the cells with my multimeter. And he gave me the tools AFTER I returned the batteries! Again, he's a very knowledgeable and honorable guy. A+ customer service.And second... I went to the store at what seemed like the height of the ridiculous "wolves vs. sheep" culture war over how to respond to Covid-19. Having lost a dear, unvaxxed friend to Covid only two months earlier, I vowed to do everything I could to not get the virus and not spread it to others if I caught it but didn't yet show symptoms. And that meant wearing a mask when indoors around others. In Arizona (I'm not from Arizona), wearing a mask automatically makes you a member of one team or another, as though the virus cared. My point here is that there were plenty of places in Arizona where people looked at me like I was their problem...with disgust, or even anger. Well, I really appreciated that the crew at Interstate Batteries treated me exactly the same as the rest of their unmasked customers. They were all friendly and helpful, placing the reason I was there (to do business with them) over the pointless politics of the moment. I appreciate it, guys!I highly recommend Interstate Batteries.

I brought a Toyota battery down because my wife's car had died, and unbeknownst to me the battery was still under warranty through the dealer ,Josh advised me to take it back to the dealer and they should replace it for free, which I did. Josh was so helpful he let me buy a battery to get me to the dealer and then bring the battery back he gave me a full refund, nothing but great things to say about Josh and interstate batteries definitely continue to do my business with them ! Thanks Josh !

Stopped here to get a deep cycle battery for the RV. Ken gave me a lot of good info and made me a good deal on what I needed. Honest folks running a small business. Go here to get your batteries
