The service from the men at night the 4 nights we stayed were so friendly and so helpful. I felt bad for them they seemed to be short staffed often. One day our room wasn't serviced because 3 people called out. My kids were always so fascinated with the continental breakfast every morning. We stayed four nights and every morning it was a different meat and every other day the carb would change. So one day was waffles the next French toast. I'm not a big waffle/pancake (not on day was pancakes) girls so French toast was good enough for me. The reg pork sausage and bacon was my favorite. Didn't care for their sausage patties or the turkey sausage because they were a bit dry. Also loved the oatmilk for my coffee. The beds were fine. We were supposed to have a 2 queen bedroom and was given a king and a pull out sofa. Which was okay since my son liked the idea of the sofa thank god.The hotel itself doesn't remind me of any other Hyatt we have stayed at as far as the ambiance and esp location. Yes plenty of homeless surrounding the building definitely ZERO scenic views betwen the back of an angry crab shack/the run down looking motel across the street and the circle k in front. But def a great learning experience. My husband said another Hyatt in tuscon doesn't allow kids but I'm beyond tempted to call them and ask if it's accurate. Because if we go next year I'd like toTry another Hyatt to compare and contrast.

Yelp are you going to threaten to shut me down because I'm writing another honest review?Hyatt place Wade, Susie, Steve and the cleaning crew was the best, only the best thing about this hotel, besides the shower and the soft closing toil seat. Breakfast looked OK but most of the stuff I cannot eat. I grabbed an apple and orange. This place needs a new location, it was tired and old. Witnessed drug deals and people shooting up, just outside. Rooms were old and tired. The concrete at the entranceway should be water blasted to make it look clean. There was so much gum marks it was disgusting. I actually should've moved hotels as much as I love the Hyatt. This is not a place that I would ever stay again. I really was afraid that our car would get broken into.I JUST CAN'T

I'm a Hyatt member and usually have great experiences but this location not been managed well. The front desk staff was friendly when we checked in but that was the only good part. There are large panels missing on the outside of the building, the elevator felt sketchy and everything just looked a little dirty. The worst part was finding hair on the wall in the morning when I went to shower so they apparently don't clean their rooms well. I left right after finding the hair as it was my check out day anyway.

I won't be staying at this location again. I have stayed at quite a few Hyatts and had great experiences but this location was not one of them. The building and rooms are a bit run down and not in the safest feeling area. On top of that unfortunately cleaning doesn't seem to be done with care here as there was hair left in the shower in my room from the previous guests and trash left out in the hallway for hours.

I am used to Hyatt Place hotels usually being some of the nicest tier of hotels in this price point. However, this particular Tucson-Central location was probably the worst Hyatt Place I've stayed at. Staff seemed unmotivated and while the rooms were serviceable, it was not up to par with what I'm used to for HP.

Pleasantly surprised despite the iffy reviews online regarding the so called 'riff raff' in the parking lot. The homeless epidemic continues to hit hard across the U.S. especially with the recent spike in cost of living, but having several people congregate at the convenient store next door was nothing to be concerned about.I arrived late to check-in and waited about 20 minutes for the front staff to figure out how to apply a Hyatt Gift Certificate or else charge my card the full price and refund me. I'd already had a bad experience with Hyatt (thus the gift card), so I wasn't going to chance it. Perhaps a refresher training or quick link to processes would serve them well. They were otherwise cordial. The room was nice; modern and clean with all of the amenities one would expect from Hyatt. I was on the first floor and my window opened up to the parking lot, so there was no opening my curtain, making it quite cave like. Some heavy sheers would've been nice to get some light in. The ac unit was loud and sounded as if it were on its last leg but did the trick and I was in no mood to switch rooms, so I dealt with it.Breakfast was the highlight of my stay. A hot breakfast with fruit & yogurt, juice, coffee, tea, oatmeal, a protein, eggs and a toast / bagel option was very nice. The pool was closed during the hours I was there which was a bummer, but it looked clean and well maintained from outside the gate. This location is just off the interstate limiting the walkability, but as previously mentioned, there is a convenient store next door and a restaurant attached to a motel on the opposite side, which looked like something from an episode of 'Hotel Impossible'. Would I stay here again if I didn't have a gift certificate to use? Doubtful. But I didn't hate the experience.

****Unsafe and terrible area**** This hotel is in a rough area. Overwhelmed with homeless. Lots of suspicious parking lot activity. Homeless lingering in the dark areas. People making homes with trash. It sits directly next to a circle K gas station where the entire front several homeless area sitting at the front door. The hotel within a few feet of the Hyatt hosts very suspicious activity and lots of parking lot meet up. I wouldn't suggest parking. It's very limited and parking in back is asking for your car to be broken into. Our view was of a few people damaging a fence to make a hut next to the Hyatt. The freeway and street are covered with walkers all of which made us feel unsafe and wanting to leave. This is unacceptable. The room is was clean. The lobby was clean but considering we watched as they allowed homeless to walk through I would never eat the food put out. We paid a lot of money to stay. This wasn't ok. Never again. Tucson was a complete failure.

This was an incredible escape after my loud stay at my previous hotel. It was quiet and comfortable. I booked this place with Hyatt points (love their point system, make sure to book directly with Hyatt if you want to start racking up points). I ended up getting an accessible room on the fourth floor. It was very spacious. I loved using the bathtub for a self-care night. The only complaint is the water pressure was low, but I'm guessing this might be an Arizona thing. Breakfast was included in my stay and had a lot of great options for my short stay. I loved the variety of teas to choose from. If you have a car, this is a great spot to stay. It felt like most things I wanted to visit in Tucson were within 15 minutes. The main reason for my trip was to visit Saguaro National Park and it was only 25 minutes away. I'd recommend this clean and quiet hotel.

This hotel has nice rooms and is well maintained. However there are a couple of issues you should be aware of before staying here. First, this hotel is tucked in near a street corner in a very unusual location that is behind a gas station and a motel. There is also a crab restaurant right next door, so you can walk right over there from the hotel to have dinner if that's something you want to do. One side of the hotel faces the I-10 freeway which is very close, so you will hear a lot of noise if you do get one of these rooms. I made that mistake the first night I was staying here, but the hotel staff was nice enough to move me after the first night. That made a huge difference!
