Hyatt Place Tucson Airport

This is no longer the Sonesta, now a 3rd world country hotel, I Believe. TV not linked, alarm broken, old carpet, old furniture, smelled bad, storage closet had door off the tracks and could not open, 12" high toilets, it should not really be open yet. Booked hotwire, they would not even look at my booking paper, kept saying expedia! 5 workers all taking a break by the entrance with smoke smell so bad I almost left.Check-in temporary, skipped the reakfast, didnt look clean. Tried to review on hotwire but it said page not available. What a two hundred dollar hotwire ripoff! Never again using hotwire, been using since it beginning. It felt like the Bates Motel!Do not book this hotel, worse than a one star, and they are using the address of the Sonada, they can't be getting above 1 star reviews. Had better hotels for 40.00! PS, nobody knows their job.

Terrible smell everywhere. Unhygienic unclean carpet. They call it hyatt place. But don't expect anything hyatt here. I agree with all the points posted by reviewer "informed R" above.

First time visiting Tucson Arizona with my family. I would give zero stars if I could. This hotel was NOT what I expected. Toilet wouldn't flush and a huge stinky coffee stain hidden under the ottoman. My sister in the floor above me had a shower tub that overflowed so bad, that the guests underneath had a leak. My sister had to move to a different room. The manager was no help and did nothing to deescalate the situation. We will NEVER stay in that hotel again!
