Huntington Park Apartments

Going on my second year living in this apartment complex, I ended up moving from an upstairs 1 bed 1 bath apartment to a downstairs 2 bed 2 bath apartment. We needed to move due to one of our tenants being disabled and they didn't charge a moving fee due to our circumstances and got us switched over to a new unit in about a month. In that time they renovated the kitchen and bathroom entirely the cabinets are beautiful and spacious compared to the last unit and the only big difference I've noticed is yes there are more bugs on the bottom floor but that's to be expected living in Arizona and in the desert. If you complain of bug problems they will put in a request to have pest control come spray your apartment and it's usually done within a few days. A lot of people in the reviews claim that the positive reviews are people who are getting made "offers" or work for the apartment. This is false. I do not work here nor have I been made any offers my rent did go up with renovations, but it's still a lot cheaper to live here than anywhere else in Tucson and the price raise is a lot to do with the economy rather than anything else. There are definitely downsides to apartment living and there is construction sometimes & other issues, but overall the staff is nice, the maintenance crew regularly greets me in the mornings and I've never been towed or had friends get their cars towed when visiting as long as they park in non-reserved spots. I definitely will recommend this place to all of my friends and future residents. Hopefully with new improvements reviews improve over the next couple years!

NEGATIVE STARS. I was made a deal in order to be accommodated for the horrendous experience in my first unit here, and now in our second unit it in which I have resided for two years is no better in terms of the individuals they allow in this community. This is not a community - it is a corporation - GreenWater Investments is the owner of Huntington Park now for a few years. You'll notice all the complexes around tucson being painted piss yellow and white are their do make less secure, do shitty renovations, over-charge, & hire individuals that legitimately seem like illegal immigrants being that none of them seem to have the wits to be cordial, act timid as fuck, come into your home for maintenance & speak Spanish to eachother while to my intellect & measure of integrity - as the resident I should know what is being communicated about the issues in my apartment & be told the solution. It's a bunch of blank stares and awkward energy. This is the worst living experience of my entire life and expressing to elders, it is appalling as well. SPEAK UP ABOUT CORPORATIONS RUINING THE LIVELIHOOD OF OUR FUTURE. We are not awaiting 40 days to our lease end & being seemingly instigated to vacate however we won't be bowing as you can read the passionate disgust in my words. The management is absolutely unqualified. Young women who lack the IQ of anything worth engaging with to relay concerns or build a customer/resident-manager relationship with. They don't aspire for integrity and their lives are going to reflect the poor decisions they have made and continue to make. God Speed to anyone residing there now that resonates with my words as there are plenty of low life's that are happy to live in the slum & make the living experiences of others miserable - as they're obviously miserable.

I moved in Dec 2018 and moved out Jan 31st, 2022.I moved out 11 days ago and they still haven't done my walk through so I still do not have my deposit back. Their automatic system also pulled my rent for the new month and I've yet to get that refund (they were made aware of the mistake on the 3rd). So I am out almost $700.Jon, the manager, said he was too busy the day of my move out to do my walk through, so I did it by myself and took pictures. I didn't think it would take this long. So today when I called for an update, he got incredibly rude. So I told him that I wanted to be present when he did the walk through. He started questioning on why I wanted to be there. Eventually he capitulated.This is not the same place I moved into and I am glad I got out now.

Greenwater took over and ruined this place. Where's the dog park and soccer field, not to mention the free garbage pickup? These were all promised when rent went up by $400 but never happened.

If I could give it less I would. Horrible management. Even worse owner for hiring them. Greenwater management and Hunting Park are terrible.

My last review isn't being factored into their rating because apparently it "isn't relevant". I've been complaining to the office about bedbugs for 5/6 months now and i still have disgusting little roommates.

For the love of god, dont move here.These apartments are run by horrible management who cry because they dont know how to fix your issues.They are going to charge you for all utilities including an additional electricity bill with them. There are German roaches in these apartments so be careful. The vendors they hired to upgrade these apartments are probably workers picked up behind a Home Depot. The owner of this company is clearly greedy and money hungry. You will have nothing but issues here. Anybody that gives this place a good review is probably written by a company worker through a fake account. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

I received advertising by phone and mail from Huntington Park apartments and this is my experience as a prospective renter / person who was advertised to TWICE directly.After reading these reviews I can conclude this apartment complex needs to be reviewed by the Attorney General of Tucson Arizona for the following violations: 1. False advertising This apartment complex does not have laundry units, a functional pool or a playground. These are clearly advertised in their pamphlets and on their website. This is a disgusting rouse and a false promise. 2. Arizona law, A.R.S. § 33-1364, states that a landlord is required to supply access to:Running water (with a water heater),Gas and/or electric services,Heating unit, andAir conditioner or swamp cooling unit.There are MULTIPLE CASES of residents not having access to water or air conditioning for several days WITHOUT NOTICE OR IMMEDIATE HELPThis is extremely black and white 3. Leaving the grounds a mess and not holding their maintenance crew accountable for their actions. I predict this apartment complex will be fully converted into only being rented by the truly desperate or the truly degenerate by 2025.Do not rent here. They are in clear violation of the law and most likely their own leases

Don't move here. I wish I could give ZERO STARS. DON'T EVER MOVE INTO HUNTINGTON PARK APARTMENTS ON SPEEDWAY AND CAMINO SECO NEVER!!! They are the WORST company EVER. They do not care about their tenants AT ALL. My AC was BROKEN for ONE MONTH!! They left me in an over 80 degree home for one month and are not telling me I'm not getting any type of compensation or NOTHING. I've added pictures of my ac temperature in the apartment and it was like that everyday from June 7th to the 29th. Not to mention this is in 100 degree weather! VERY ILLEGAL. The property manager is one of the most rudest people I've ever met. She not only ignored my calls and texts and emails about my AC but she also hung up on my TWICE. Just look at the yelp reviews!! 1.5 STARS. Trust the reviews y'all do not move into that place. The laundry rooms are broken BOTH ROOMS MAY I ADD. The pool is closed they lied about trash service and lied about a dog park they will tow your car away if you park backwards which I've never heard of because that is just stupid just DONT DO IT. Way to overpriced as well. Greenwater is the most unprofessional company I've ever seen and their employees are very unprofessional as well. I added pictures of all the high temps in my apartment as well as date and time so you can see how many days I was left like this. And yes I have more pictures and yes it was like this for A WHOLE MONTH.

I LOVE HUNTINGTON PARK!! most of the bad reviews are from bitter people that were here before the remodel, and rent raise. The apartments are gorgeous. The insides are modern and beautiful. Don't even get me started on the grounds. Adorable yellow gated community with LUSH courtyards full of grass, trees green plants flowers, well maintained. The amenities are on point. I feel safe with my security door. Everything is wonderful. We have kids and play grounds and its still quiet as a mouse 90 percent of the time. This is literally the best apartment i've had in my 30 years. Also the office people aren't mean, they're very nice.
