Hummingbird Grill

I love the side room for larger groups. The menu doesn't change much. The food reminds me of facility type cafeteria. I would like to see more vegetarian options. I think there is room for improvement.

I had to be there for our business function and oh boy, what a deception! My coworker told me that it is at the Pueblo del Sol Country Club. Ok, I pull up, no valet parking. So I text my boss, "Am I in the right place? Where is the valet?" Then I realized, "I was in Sierra Vista, AZ, not the Orange County, CA or Pasadena, CA." Food was just average at its best. I guess true meaning of "COUNTRY club." When people say it is good but everybody is looking through their own looking glass. This place was definitely not for me. In my opinion, Sierra Vista does not have great restaurants because of the population, mostly military transient people.

I visited the Hummingbird Grill several times over the past year. This place is pretentious and bland. Supposedly there is an actual trained chef working in the kitchen but the only place that is apparent is in the wording on the menu. The quality of the meal certainly did not show any special culinary ability. Avoid this place.

Went for dinner on Saturday, 1/31/14. Much improved wine list. Very attentive staff. Ordered the prime rib and it was delicious; generous serving size and tender. I would have preferred the prime rib to be more medium rare but is was very good none the less. Beautiful views while dinning. Definitely will go back.

I dined at the Hummingbird Grill for the first time today. It is small but the food was good and the view was lovely. It is always so nice to see some green around here! Above all, the service was exquisite. We will definitely be returning often... good service is as hard to find as greenery in Sierra Vista!
