I share the creators passion for hot yoga and have practiced Bikram yoga for over 8 years, switching back and forth between Bikram and heated vinyasa. I am grateful to have a place not too far from where I live. I do miss a traditional bikram class.

The original owner's ( Marybeth Medley, "was a friend for 2 yrs") main concern is herself, to make the money she needs, to the point where when people first come into the intense heat and humidity. She doesn't inform them enough to be prepared for new people for it. #1: You must have plenty of water, at least a pint or better a quart next to you. #2 The further back you are from the instructor, the temperature is cooler, especially for beginners. You see, you first pay $20 to start. If you don't come back, sooo what she keeps the 20$ and you quit. My first day I got very lightheaded/dizzy, I forgot my water. I had to stop, left the room, went to the front desk and bought multiple bottles and drank most of them. Then returned. Marybeth would ignor my questions about a proper automatic brief before each class. The humidity system is a bit complex and I was the one that fixed repaired and maintained it for her, I solved numerous other issues including repairing the inside of the hot yoga room. Joseph is the power yoga instructor and one day he verbally assaulted med in a insane rant screaming his head off over nothing while slamming his arm as hard as he could cursing and was obiously unstable. I complained to Marybeth and she intern to make a long story short, she kicked out of the hot yoga classes permanently. She was worried that I was going to get a restraining order for Joseph assaulting a elder- person. My yoga was therapeutic for my PTSD, and very important to my longevity and mental health. Marybeth demonstrates a sociopathic type behavior and I learned that she is a chronic habitual liar. My PTSD is directly connected to my military service of over 20years as a US Navy SEAL, 67 yrs old. The manager Danny of the gym supported her lies and was the one that brought all the numerous quitters to my attention? We "were," good friends.... I saved both if them thousands of dollars......Very SAD. April 2022, was my last day and the beginning of the END of the HotYogaClub. Her KARMA is non existent.

I normally practice bikram three days a week, so when i came to sierra vista for training, i was excited to know there was i place i could go to practice. Mary Beth is super! She greeted us by name since i was running late and called ahead. She has a small home studio that holds 13, so i recommend booking in advance on the mind body app. She incorporates bikram poses with a bit of vinyasa as well as cardio and ab work. It was a great class! She ended it by giving out cold rags with peppermint oil; so invigorating! Check it out!
