We bought our home from Homes Direct in Tucson after looking at several other locations. Homes Direct homes had all the criteria we were looking for in a home. Bigger bedrooms, large living room and kitchen, crown molding and walk in master shower. The workmanship of the homes was exceptional. My wife said she would never live in a trailer! These manufactured homes are made like a house. Very sturdy and well made. My wife loves her new home. Happy wife happy life! Homes Direct is a family run business and they do all the work so you don't have to. We are very happy and pleased with our new home and would recommend Homes Direct to anyone looking for a manufactured home.

Before buying our home at Homes Direct we checked several other sales locations. Three in Tucson and three in Phoenix area. We chose Homes Direct for their attention to detail. They had the larger bedrooms to accommodate a king size bed. The floor boards were the wider ones and not the real skinny ones. Their homes also had crown molding as a standard feature not an upgrade at an extra cost. You feel like you are in a house rather than a manufactured home. The homes are well built of exceptional quality. The cupboards and closets in rooms have so much storage space and are large and roomy. Homes Direct is a family owned business and they care about their business and customers. They handled everything from start to finish. They gave us a date of completion and were pretty close to the date which is amazing since we had ours built during the monsoon season and it rained continually! We never worried about anything Homes Direct took care of everything. If we had questions we could call and get an answer within the day. If you want a beautiful home with no worries you should go to Homes Direct They are exceptional to work with and really do care. If you need insurance they can also help you with that. We can't say enough about Homes Direct and we love our home and have gotten so many compliments on it.

These people refused to help me because I don't need financing and I'm on disability. I can buy something outright once I sale my home in a different state. I was told by Venice that I should "just stay put" and not move because I don't need a bank basically. I was talked to as if I was a child who needed financial counseling! I'm in a vulnerable position being disabled and just going through a divorce after 30 years of marriage. I have to move but obviously these guys are not the right choice for help. I just feel horrible and like giving up after talking with this company, specifically Venice. I wish I could just buy something and be done instead of being forced to get a loan. Maybe someday I'll find someone who accepts CASH. I just need a home to live in.

My fiancé and I visited there yesterday 7/8/23 after a frustrating visit to another local dealer. The manager, Venice immediately made us feel welcomed and at home. This was the 6th manufactured home dealer we have been to and by far the most knowledgeable, upfront and helpful by far. She listened to our needs, immediately knew which layouts would serve out needs and budget. There was no mystery, she laid out pricing and was helpful letting us know what we could add and what we should add. I felt like the process was doable. Also the homes on the lot look nice. The craftsmanship is excellent. On a personal note, the homes are air conditioned so we didn't feel like we had to rush through and get out before heat stroke set in. So we were able to spend more time in the homes looking at the features and discussing things.

Hands down if you're going to buy a manufactured home GO HERE. Their houses are STUNNING (nicer than 90% of site build homes I've seen) and the staff was beyond friendly. Any time we finish a bottle of water they always made sure we had a nice cold one ready. It's the little things like that that really stand out. The lady (I believe her name was Alexis) was personable, educated, and not pushy at all. She gave us amazing advice. Whatever you do DO NOT GO TO CAVCO HOMES down the road. I have never met people quite as rude as them and their homes were hot, smelly, and underwhelming to say the least. Drive two more minutes and go to homes direct. I'm not one to leave reviews but we loved this place. If we ever decide to get a manufactured home, we are going here.

In the market for a brand new manufactured home? Do yourself a favor and check out Homes Direct. We'd been "nosing around" the various manufactured home dealerships for over 10 years - during which time we'd seen many fall by the wayside during the economic crash and others appear on the scene afterwards. We had done our research both in person at the various area dealerships and by consulting articles and books like the well-regarded Grissim Guides. As a result, we were pretty knowledgable about what to expect in regards to manufacture home construction standards and features. We were "informed buyers". So, when we did finally decide to take the plunge we knew exactly where we were going - Homes Direct. If you tour the Homes Direct dealership the first thing you notice is just how BEAUTIFUL the homes are. The have the nicest, most upscale manufactured homes in the entire Tucson area. Forget everything you think you know about what a manufactured home looks like. These are - quite simply - drop dead gorgeous (and I do mean GORGEOUS) homes. Prepare to be AMAZED.Aside from the homes themselves, the thing that really stands out about Homes Direct is the care and attention to details provided by the Homes Direct staff. We dealt with Venise during the buying process (we had in fact been dealing with her for several years before we actually made the plunge) and Sharon during the set-up portion. BOTH provided stellar service. It was obvious that they really cared about us and that they wanted to make sure we were completely happy with with our home. I have to say, they succeeded spectacularly. We love, love, LOVE our new place.Of course, let's face it, it doesn't matter how beautiful a model home is on the lot, what really counts is how YOUR home actually turns out. Fortunately, the firms they use to do the actual set-up of the home did a wonderful job. The primary work was done by US Mobile Home Transport, who worked very closely with Homes Direct to bring the home in, set it up, connect all the utilities and prepare it for habitation. They were superb. I can't say enough about just how terrific their entire crew were. On the few occasions we had a concern about something in the set-up, both the US Mobile folks and the Cavco people (it was a Durango Home - a subdivision of Cavco) immediately responded and resolved the issue to our satisfaction. Let me give you an example - a week after moving into our home we received the delivery of new washer/dryer pair that we'd bought from a local "big box" store. When the dryer was plugged in it blew the breaker in a spectacular fashion. Since the home was brand new and we'd never used the oversized plug before, my immediate assumption was that there was an issue with the home wiring, so I fired off an e-mail about our concerns. Within 15 minutes we received a response call and 45 minutes later we had someone on site to check things out. As it turned out the fault was actually in the dryer rather than the house, but the extremely fast response shows just how responsive their support was. You can't ask for faster response than that.Likewise, Creative Aluminum - the folks who partnered with Homes Direct to add a screened-in patio to our house (it was all part of the same project) were wonderful as well. Mike (the owner) and his crew did a great job of interpreting our desires and giving us a wonderful outdoor living space attached to our home. We plan on giving it a lot of use.So, as I said, if you are looking for a brand new manufactured home, you owe it to yourself to check out Homes Direct. The homes are beautiful, the construction standards extremely high, the staff service wonderful and the delivery and set-up partners they use are terrific. Really, what more can you ask?Ken

If you have ever gone to a car dealership and left feeling confused, frustrated and like you needed to wash your hands, visit Homes Direct. You will run....straight back to the car dealership. My family and I visited Homes Direct in the process of purchasing horse property. We did not know much about manufactured homes. We liked the Cavco product and the owner, Venise Gomez. We returned to Homes Direct after purchasing the land. We did not have an appointment and Max Gomez, the owner's husband showed us around. Mr. Gomez is a real estate broker and a loan officer. Mr. Gomez' information was very different from Ms. Gomez. We left believing we would have to settle for much less home than we originally intended. We shopped around Tucson and Phoenix and discovered Ms. Gomez original information was actually correct. Mr. Gomez either seriously misunderstood us, or there was a great deal of profit in it for Mr. Gomez. We also determined we liked the Cavco product the best. We made an appointment with Ms. Gomez and returned, intending to firm up our buying plans for when we would be ready in June, as this was March 31st. We had no intention of dealing with Mr. Gomez for financing. My mother, who is a Real Estate Agent from another state, was visiting and came with us. Instead of taking us back to see homes, Ms. Gomez sat us down in the lobby while Mr. Gomez joined us. Ms. Gomez asked why we had come to see her if we were not ready to buy. Both she and Mr. Gomez were glaring at us. We were so surprised by the confrontational atmosphere, we actually tried to answer the questions. We explained that my mother was visiting and we wanted to show her the homes. We also told her how we had set things in motion and wanted to have everything ready in June. We had visited several places and educated ourselves on manufactured homes. We knew how much home we could afford and qualify for. Ms. Gomez was extremely upset and defensive that we had been shopping around. Ms. Gomez said we were wasting her time since we could not buy right then. She pointed to my mother and said 'she understands', referencing her being a Real Estate Agent. My mother explained she never turns down potential customers just because they aren't pre-qualified yet. Often she refers them to potential lenders and makes many sales this way. Ms. Gomez stood up and said 'WELL THIS IS MY BUILDING'. Needless to say, we recovered our senses and left as quickly as possible. Neither my wife, my self, or my mother have ever been treated in such a way while purchasing anything. Our 16 year old daughter was with us as well. She was completely mortified. I would highly suggest you save yourself the trouble and not visit this dealership at all. There is another Cavco dealership in town.
