Stayed here a couple times. I was super excited to use the Peloton in the gym! Of course no one at the front desk knew the password to connect it to the internet nor did they seem to even care to help. Other gym equipment also broken. Wash and dryers need to be updated to use cards instead of coins.Computer systems always so slow. Checking in takes way longer than it should.

I've always had a good experience with home2suites, yet this location was less than stellar. I was supposed to have an extended stay here, but I cut it short. Depending on who was on duty, you may or may or not be grateful upon entering the hotel. I was confused about their cleaning schedule. Usually, on a long stay, they'll come every other day as per their sign and management. Yet I was later told it was every 4 days, and even that wasn't done. The room appeared clean at first glance but I found it was not true. I ended up cleaning it myself. There was hair in the shower, dust in the kitchen, and the night stands floor was sticky.I called down for fresh towels and the trash to be removed because I asked for service twice and told I was added to the list . However, no one ever visited the room. Besides, not being clean, the sheets are really worn and have some stains. And they have a bug problem. I killed about 10-15 bugs a day. I notified hotel staff twice to no avail. Once the bugs got into my things, I had to go. I was told they could come clean the bugs off the ground. I asked for pest control or a new room, and I wasn't moved. When I was checking out finally the manager said I could be moved, but I was over it. Apparently, the manager was unaware of the issue and then read that they had it noted. She seemed confused. Hopefully, they will get some training for their housekeeping staff and some pest control

August 15, 2024 and last night I stayed .6 miles away at a hotel without a lounge. But, they referred me to this location. It was a quiet Wednesday night. The bartender, Alex/Alexandra and I started talking and the conversation centered around traveling especially Costa Rica, Belize, and Panama. The pours are measured and several of the items for the specialty drinks were not in stock. There is plenty of parking.

There is some good and some bad for this Home2 Suites. Rooms were clean and conveniently located very close to the airport. Really didn't hear the planes unless the military jets flew overhead and that was about 10:00 am so no real problems there. Some staff were great others not so great. Housekeeping needs a lot of improvement, ran out of tp and body wash and had to ask three times for it before I finally stopped at the front desk. The older blonde lady working the front desk is the worst!! Breakfast was hot and offered a nice selection but coffee was frequently like warm which seemed strange because they were keeping new carafes coming out. Lot was always full by the end of the night but never had any issues finding a spot. Would stay here again but would likely look for something on the north side of town.

The lead cleaning person is incredibly rude. She knocked and just straight up opened the door without waiting even 3 seconds, at 9am. Then when she saw we were inside, she didn't even apologize - just stood there and asked when we would leave. Check out isn't even until 11am!Other big problem - CARPETS ARE NEVER VACUUMED HERE - our kids' feet were completely black from walking around barefoot. Looks like maybe a month's worth of dirt, we're talking sooty black dirty.Hotel is nice for the price, but be prepared to be intruded upon at 9am. And really there is no excuse for the dirty black carpet and the crazy bed linens besides terribly trained staff. Also our beds were poorly made, they literally put the bedskirt on TOP of the bed as if it were a blanket. Kind of amazing. Lots of people complaining at the front desk here, so we're certainly not the only ones. She should be fired. That would make this a 4 star hotel.

We stayed here several nights and I will say that the front desk staff was the VERY BEST I have encountered at any other hotel. They were friendly, professional, helpful and all around the very best. The cleaning teams were fantastic too!Our room was clean. The only complaint is that 2 times when our bed was changed the fitted sheet was very, very "pilly". Did I say how much I liked the front desk people and the cleaning staff?

The rooms are nice - what I expected based on the Home2 Suites I've stayed at in Yuma, AZ. The doors, though, WOW ... heavy and they slam. Therefore, heard A LOT of slamming doors during my 2 week stay and it was driving me nuts. I'd close my door gently but most people aren't like that; especially kids ... but even "adults". Constant slamming. Far more people than not will let their door slam even if it bothers them when others do it. That's just how people are. The hotel needs to change out the door closers with ones that are far less forceful and slower. The hotel hosting a circus of Little Leaguers and their parents/families for the weekend I was there obviously made the slamming situation worse. The staff are okay ... they don't really go out of their way to acknowledge your presence or get to know you. At Hilton Garden Inn Tucson Airport they are very friendly and personable; not at Home2 Suites. The staffer that checked me out of Home2 Suites didn't even ask how my stay was. Barely said a word to me.The last thing I'll mention is the lack of hot water. They need to either put in more hot water tanks or, what they really should do is, go tankless. Some mornings I didn't shower because the water was lukewarm or colder. They run out of hot water too soon for the number of people/rooms.

NOTE TO GENERAL MANAGER JUANITA: IS IT HOTEL POLICY FOR STAFF MEMBERS TO PROFILE AND SINGLE OUT PAYING GUESTS AND HARASS THEM FOR IDENTIFICATION THEN THREATEN TO CALL THE POLICE?Changing my sterling review following a very ugly encounter with staff member Ruben on my 9th and final day here. I've never been so embarrased like this in my life. I'm a proud diamond member and travel about 200 days a year and Hilton employees are some of the best in the business. However, Ruben is the one in a million employee who stains the Hilton brand name. He has the swagger of a mall cop with nothing to do but harass paying guests. He has no business being in the hospitality industry and I have contacted the upper echelon of Hilton management to make ensure other paying guests are not bullied by this employees tactics. I am sure this is not his first time but I do hope Hilton management make it his last time. No one deserves this type of treatment.I returned to the hotel at 945am to get breakfast. after starting my day at 5am. I set my backpack, secondary bag, and rolling case by a table, grabbed some oatmeal, and then was immediately accosted by Ruben who wanted to see my ID and room number.I asked if he is asking everyone who is in the breakfast area for their ID and he said he was asking me because I had luggage. His convoluted reasoning is that I had luggage and therefore must be treated with suspicion as I might be stealing their oatmeal. He then insisted I provide my ID or else he would call the police. My question to the owner is: Who in their right mind drives to this part of town, grabs all their luggage out of their vehicle, and proceeds to sneak into the lobby all so they can get a free bowl of oatmeal?Ruben also then said he wants to see my credit card when I made a joke about what other documents I need to prove I am a paying guest.Told him I was going to contact Juanita (the general manager) and he claimed he was the manager and then in a mocking voice said, "Oh, you're going to call the manager".Worst part is he didn't even have the decency to even apologize to my face after I showed him my ID, told him my room number, and he checked on the hotel computer.I was going to extend my stay for a tenth day at this hotel but checking out and taking my business elsewhere. Thankfully this kind of incident has not happened in more than 20 years of travel. The world needs more Sabrinas(see below) and less Rubens.THIS WAS MY PREVIOUS REVIEW: Note to manager: I travel most of the year and people like Sabrina at the front desk make all the difference. She is an absolute gem and made my time away from home and family a little easier. I hope I run into more "Sabrinas" in my travels as she has set the bar! Also the hotel is spotless and the beds are insanely comfortable which makes getting out of bed even harder at 5am. I will miss this hotel and the lovely people here.
