Due to an unexpected health situation, my daughter (my caregiver) was going to be unavailable for an undetermined time to care for me. The first week was covered by a family member and a neighbor. After that time past I needed to find someone since my insurance did not have anyone contracted on my side of town. After searching online, I came upon Home Care Assistance website and liked what I read. I contacted them and they sent someone that very day to see what my needs were and to see how they could help. Patricia came and asked me questions that I had not even thought of which, in my opinion, showed not only her professionalism but her compassionate nature.I scheduled a caregiver within a couple of days. Not knowing what to expect, I was pleasantly surprised when the first caregiver arrived. She was congenial, pleasant to be around, and very professional. Due to my size, a second caregiver arrived to help assist with my bath and anything else needing that additional person. It was very much appreciated that they thought of this since I had not. That second caregiver was as wonderful as the first. When you bring someone into your home you never know what you will get or how things will turn out. I must say that in my case this experience was by far a whole lot better than I had expected and I feel both safe and comfortable with them in my home. Thank you to those caregivers for making me feel comfortable during a very difficult time.

I hired Home Care Assistance of Tucson 2 to 3 years ago to help me take care of my wife. The compassion shown by staff while working in our home has been overwhelming and highly successful in comforting my wife and assisting with the activities of daily living. It eases my mind immensely to be able to relax when I must be away from home attending to other issues such as shopping for groceries, going to the bank, etc. The quality of care and knowledge base of the individual Care Givers working has been of highest quality as well. They are dependable, professional and knowledgeable. I felt confident that when I left home, Dad was in good hands. I had many obstacles during each week and Homecare assistance helped me every step of the way. I called and told them the problem I was having and they immediately worked with me to get someone out to the house to take care of my Dad right away. From experience, I know how hard it is to find someone short notice to come out immediately, but Home Care Assistance was diligent and understanding to the problems I was having. They made sure that my Dad was paired with someone that fit his personality. My Dad was extremely difficult at times, because he was living with severe dementia, but the staff was compassionate and curtious to my father and I thank them for being there and helping us.
