We came for the valentines specials. A cute spot tucked in a cluster of businesses off the main drag of congress, with fun valentines decorations. We got the baileys strawberries and crème and strawberry vodka drink (strong! Who knew?). Quick service and some indoor booths and patio seating

Great bar and hangout location in downtown Tucson great music, friendly staff amazing drinks had an amazing time on St. Patrick's Day with family and friends. The music was beating and the drinks were flowing. Enjoy coming to hang out here. It's always a blast.Perfect place for a group of friends always plenty of room in the courtyard. With the variety of music being played, it's great for all to enjoy from old school to new school..

Nifty outdoor club that the folks will go wild for (sometimes too wild), but to me it's just OK. What I liked: There's a LOT of space to dance and the sound is awesome. There's a good drink selection and a lot of bartenders--I didn't have to wait that long for drinks even though it was pretty busy, and everything was more than reasonably priced given the atmosphere. What I don't really understand: Those fancy shots cosplaying molecular gastronomy are horrific. The Mexican Candy? Tasted like a glob of straight liquor (it should really have a distinct flavor) sitting atop pure chamoy. I thought it was actually really gross, but that's the signature item everyone raves about. It's not bad and I'd come back, but I also wouldn't spend more than a few minutes waiting in line for it.

This place is always a good time! They have someOf the most iconic spoon shots in Tucson that are so smooth and delicious! I recently learned they offer a food menu too which had many tasty items! I loved the steak and arugula sliders and fries. The music and vibe are always on point and staff is helpful and friendly! If you've never been, I recommend going for dinner and staying after for some dancing and drinks!

Highwire is a bit tucked away compared to other businesses close by. My wife and I stopped to have a drink on Friday around 8 pm and came back the following Sunday with our son and my mom for brunch. I liked that they played live music during our time on Friday. We also enjoyed our brunch. We had the chicken and waffles, avocado toast, and the rum banana brulee. I recommend placing a garnish or decorating the plate with some sauce (notice the picture). I loved the rum banana brulee, and the chicken and waffles were a hit! I think there is a lot of potential for Highwire, and with some slight adjustments could make for a more inviting and engaging experience for the customers. When one walks into Highwire for the first time, there are multiple openings. I wasn't sure which way to go and some bald employed grunts "this is closed" it looked open to me as others were sitting around (perhaps they were staff). Instead of that experience, have a host in the open outside area welcome people. The same goes for brunch. Our waitress was friendly, but it seemed the music playing was more for them than for the other table, who were also middle-aged adults who also would likely prefer to listen to something other than loud rap music on Sunday morning. Just a guess. Some more pleasantries, decorum, and beautification of the patio would go a long way to take Highwire to the next level. This is under the assumption that they would like adult professionals to frequent and come back.

My husband and I are in our 40s, and after Christmas party with colleagues, on a Friday night, found ourselves at Highwire Tucson bar and lounge. What a fun place and amazing atmosphere! We don't typically drink a lot, but Mexican candy shots and Margaritas were incredible, and before we knew it, each of us had like, 5. Next morning-no headache, no issues, no hangover, only fun memories of dancing and having a great time! HIGHLY recommend, seems like people at any age can still have fun at a place like this, it has indoor and outdoor areas, plenty of space, and upbeat music. Visit HIGHWIRE, you won't be disappointed!

Sat at the bar for 20+ minutes before anyone acknowledged us. We ordered...they were out of all three of our selections. We left. Good idea in theory!

The bartender was awesome and the drinks were very unique and fun. The ambiance is great, including the patio but we didn't get to experience that. We sat at the bar and karaoke was available but it was low key

The security guard with a full beard was a dick. He came off as passive aggressive where I did nothing wrong. Ruined my experience

Adam, the best employee ever! He went above and beyond for our service! He was so kind and went out of his way to find my lost belongings! Adam was our savior !
