HeeMee Coffee + Bakery

This coffee shop and bakery is located in the heart of downtown. It's a small shop located next to the Monica. I was so excited to finally visit- it had been on my list for a while. Their pastries all looked so good! They have a large variety of pastries (especially in the mornings). We went around lunch time and were able to order a peach danish, a pistachio pastry, and some ramen. Yes, you heard me right, ramen! I ordered mine with chicken katsu. I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was since it's from a coffee and bakery shop. Servers were super friendly and gave suggestions on the pastries. I want to come back and try more of the baked goods.

HeeMee is a cute little shop in the heart of downtown. That also means it can be super hard to find parking to visit. I tried no less than three times to find parking during the week but was unable to. Finally on a Saturday morning I was able to visit HeeMee. I got a yuzuade, chicken katsu sandwich, garlic fried chicken, and a few yummy looking desserts.The yuzuade was great with a nice citrus flavor. The katsu sandwich had great flavor, nice crispy chicken, and a sauce with a little punch of spice if you can handle it. The garlic friend chicken also as crispy, garlicky, and served with white rice. The variety of desserts were fresh and not overly sweet. It's on my list to visit again hopefully soon - maybe the parking Gods will smile down on me next time I try.

This is a pretty interesting place. I got the chicken Katsu sandwich which was a good size, good chicken and nicely sauced. The sauce really carried the whole sandwich flavor, however, the textures were pretty good overall. I should have gotten some of the bakery items, they look very nice.The service was friendly but I wouldn't call them quick.Iced Americano was standard issue.I think total for both was around $16.

With seeing their instagram photos and people's reviews on this place, I've been wanting to go so bad but I just hate driving in tucson, especially downtown. But my sister was here and so I finally took her and we came here. I ordered their breakfast sandwich, it was pretty good. And i ordered their special Chocolate covered strawberry latte. To my surprise, it wasnt that bad. It was a lot better than dutch bros same name latte and prettier, lolz my sister got their passion fruit ade cause they didnt have the dubai chocolate latte. I also ordered their chocolate croissant and to my disappointment, it wasnt as good as i had hope. I was hoping it was more light and airy but it was a lot bread. so that deducts the 1 star. I want to go get their strawberry one tho and try that. I just hate downtown parking. I also want to try their korean fried chicken.

I FINALLY got to go to HeeMee! They've been on my "to-try" list for ages, and this morning we finally made our way there for brunch. We got both savory and sweet treats, as well as a couple of HeeMee's signature drinks. We got the Garlic Fried Chicken bowl, the Beef Bulgogi bowl, a Nutella cookie, a red bean donut, a Dalgona latte, and a Yuja Ade. Both bowls were delicious, with big portions of protein and rice. We both have leftovers for a later meal! The Nutella cookie was very good, with a yummy, gooey Nutella filling, though the cookie itself was a bit too crumbly for my taste. It's also MEGA sweet -- almost too rich. I'd recommend sharing it! The donut was cooked perfectly, though, with lots of filling spread evenly throughout. The Dalgona latte was very good, but I confess I had drink envy -- I wished I had gotten the Yuja! It's a light, sparkling drink, not overly sweet and very perfect for a hot summer day.

I often get the chicken katsu sandwich (pictured is two orders). The pricing is fair and the other food items I've had are well executed with quick service. I wish the hours were longer or they were open on Sundays but know that may not always be easy to work in. If you can fit this place into your schedule, it is so worth it! They also have a bakery but it will sell out quick for certain items. Do pre-order if you can or call ahead.

Super cute coffee shop in downtown Tucson! I have tried many different coffees there and they have all been delicious! They have several milk alternatives, which is great- I typically use oatmilk The pastries all look delicious! I haven't seen anything gluten free with the new owners, but I don't know that for sure. (The previous owners had gluten free and dairy free options fairly often ). I would love to see gluten free options return! :) Ps they're open Mondays now!

This place is in the heart of Downtown Tucson. Small place, few tables inside and a couple tables out in the patio. They have good coffee choices and more. Lots of delicious pastries and dessert options. And they give you a good portion on their bowls! I would definitely recommend this place. Just be patient to get a table.

Tried this place a couple weeks back. They have a very extensive menu with great delicious options. Their coffee is the perfect amount of sweet! Their chicken bowls are my favorite highly recommend.

HeeMee is a hidden gem. In the heart of downtown, you would miss it if you didn't know. We love to go to HeeMee and grab pastries and coffee. Croissants, tarts, the various cakes, even a Korean corn dog. I highly recommend the cookie butter latte. Everything we've had there has been delicious.
