Heavenly Hair Salon

Velia gave me an excellent cut and perm for $85. She was very thorough and meticulous wrapping the rods, alternating sizes for a natural look. I have learned from experience that cutting the hair before applying chemicals works best. Also after the perm is finished, a light application of mousse and gently running your fingers through the curls is all that is needed. No comb-out! No fussing! Velia uses Square for payments or cash. She is easy-going and pleasant to chat with. Very personable.This is a tiny, nicely-appointed 4-chair salon adjacent to a Subway. Parking is a breeze. The tiny reception area is stocked with treats and snacks, with Bigelow's flavored teas in a hot beverage section. A Hand-sanitizer station guards the front door, along with a magazine rack. At the back is an attractive Powder Room.The regulars seem to love this place! The location is a stone's throw from Orange Grove and N Thornydale, on the opposite side of the street from Wendy's and Sam Levitz. Subway faces Thornydale and the salon is next-door.Also the reason I tried a different salon: the last one drenched my back in water during the shampoo, then blamed me for it! At Heavenly Hair, the shampoo bowls have a neck rest above the shampoo bowl that does the job of keeping the water in the bowl, not running down the client's back!

Walked in this morning and when I said I was in for a trim, I was told "I don't have the time for you". I asked as I pointed to the painted door which says "walk-ins", don't you accept walk-ins? She replied again, "I don't have time for you". She only had the one customer in the salon, who she was already tending to. I'm sure like me, you work too hard for your money to give it to RUDE people who Obviously don't need it anyway.

This is the only place I'll go to in town to get my hair done! I'm always so happy with how my hair turns out and I LOVE the hair products they sell! I always call ahead to make sure I get a spot and they always have something available! Highly recommend!!

Thanks to Carey for helping me with my "not sure yet" attempt to transition to gray. And for her patience since I'm not sure if I'll like it. But she does a great job with my color and cut. And always finds time to work with my awful schedule. She's a gem and I'm happy to have found her!

I love Maryanne!!!!! She has been cutting my hair for at least 8 years now and I was so excited when I found out that she was opening her own salon! I've never left her chair feeling disappointed and she always understands what I want my hair to look like. I moved to San Diego a few years ago but I still make sure to see her when I visit my family in Tucson, and I don't let anyone else cut my hair. You seriously won't be disappointed if you decide to pay a visit to Heavenly hair salon.

A quaint little salon nestled between Costco and Subway Sandwich, you can find my hair gal Leah Lopez performing amazing hair cuts, colors, highlights....You name it! My hair was a dark chocolate cherry, plus decades of my using over the counter cheap hair colorants. She was able to make my hair a natural looking blonde with beautiful highlights and low lights. It has been a process but she can do ANYTHING! Her rates are EXTREMELY reasonable (so reasonable that you would be surprised)

I had an appt with Leah and she was fantastic!! Not only did she give me a great haircut (exactly what I was wanting) she was so fun to talk to! I will definitely be coming back and scheduling another appt with her.

Shitty tbh, old people that cut the hair there, disrespectful i give this business a 0/0!! Would not recommend! If you need to do a fast cut walk-in this is not the placeeee!! Btchass looked at me like helll nah loll!!

Sue is phenomenal. I had a perfect first time visit & I couldn't be happier. Ambiance of the salon is cozy & superbly clean. I will never go anywhere else. Pricing is so reasonable. This salon is truly a gem!
