After the Olympics, my daughter was obsessed with gymnastics and she also wanted to do ballet. Luckily, Heart & Soul offers a combo 1 hour gymnastics/ballet class. The teachers are so nice and great with the kids.I love the online platform where you can view the class schedule and manage payments. They even do parent's night out events and school break camps.

Nice place. Well run. Clean. So many classes to choose from and it was busy for the hour I was there. Great day with my grandson.

My daughter has been enrolled in the combo dance/gymnastics toddler and parent class for about 4+ months now. The combo is thirty minutes of dance followed by 30 minutes tumbling. Overall it has been a good experience for our daughter. Her time slot for dance is rarely full, so it's nice, however, the tumbling is usually a full class and with sixish toddlers and parents it can get a little chaotic. The routines are easy enough to follow, but it certainly helps when the instructor offers a hand or guidance during the tumbling portion. They have an online portal where you can manage your payments and cancellations which is convenient. Generally, we have found the instructors to be kind and patient will our daughter and the others in our group.

Today my granddaughter had a birthday party at the SE location and it was amazing!! Lizzie and Kathleen were so great with all of the kids and got the kids to join in fun games too! They hustled to help us decorate and were quick in helping us pack up too! I cannot say enough wonderful things about birthday parties at Heart & Soul! They do everything while you are just there to share in the fun and visit with your guests!

I will start this review with a positive because Mrs. Alex is great and her patience with my son was so awesome.I had issues from the beginning with my card being charged when it wasn't supposed to(it was refunded but never should've happened) Shari seems very sweet and willing to help but then becomes very wishy washym my son missed 2 classes which you're allowed 1 make up a month. He missed 1 in feb 1 on march. I sent an email asking if I can change them because I was at the emergency vet with my dog last week so we missed a class and today we have covid. Well apparently no that's not okay and other children are waiting for their make up classes(the thurs ninja class he goes to is empty he was the only kid). I really liked this place at first and Shari seemed really sweet and understanding to my situation but at some point that changed. I guess I should've just come in today with covid so my kid could use his makeup classes. Apparently if things like life happen you're SOL and loose the makeup classes. They also don't stick to the rules about the ages allowed in the class. My son was in the 2.5-3.5 age gymnastics and they had 2 year olds in there. When I asked about it twice they completely ignored my question. It's a bummer I was excited to have something out here for him but I don't like wishy washy or the issues I ran into in the beginning. We will miss Alex!

My wife and I enrolled our kids at Heart and Soul of December of 2022. My son was in the tumbling class and my daughter was in the tap/ballet class. My son is now in gymnastics and my daughter is in the tap/ballet/gymnastics combo. We recently were in the recital, which is a memory I will never forget. Saying it was the best decision we made is an understatement. For the past 8 months, Heart and Soul has become like family. The amount of Heart and Soul (pun intended) that is here is amazing. You can really tell that it was a thoughtful process to hide the employees that work there. All the employees are so good with all the kids. I don't know how, but even after the first class they remembered our kids names. They have always been flexible with us when emergencies and unexpected life events have occurred. No matter who we have interacted with, our interactions have always been pleasant. Whether it's Olivia, Taylor, Katelyn, Payton or McKenna, our kids look forward to seeing them. Even when I see the other coaches and how they interact with the kids, it warms my heart. Don't think twice when trying to decide if your kids would love Heart and Soul, because I promise you they will!

I cannot say enough good things about Heart and Soul. I love their dance and gymnastic combo class. My daughter has been coming here for almost 2 years now. There has been a few teachers who have come and gone, but all of them have been fantastic. I love all the camps they do. I cannot wait to try KNO( kids night out). Both my kids love the camps that they do during holidays and summer. My son was doing karate here before they changed the schedule due to the instructors school schedule. I would have to say that is the only complaint I have. Otherwise I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

The only good thing about Heart and Soul was my daughter's gymnastics and dance teachers. The issue with Heart and Soul is the management and business practices. For example, if you go on a two to three-week holiday vacation, your child can only make up one session in the same month if there is availability in a class. Additionally, on their website, it states, "Make-ups are not guaranteed, make-up options are contingent upon availability." In essence, you lose out on the other sessions for the month, and making up the one session for the month is not guaranteed. An excellent business practice example is my daughter's swim school, where a six-month token is provided for a makeup session. The parent can schedule a makeup session online by checking schedules and adding their child to a swim class.Another business practice is the monthly tuition, which is more like a non-prorated billing. The business states on its website that they do not adjust the billing for months when there are holidays, pre-planned closures, or more classes. Additionally, they note that classes even out, but if you pay attention to pre-planned closures and holidays, it does not even out in the end. The business concept is similar to a membership or subscription framework in that the same amount is billed monthly, regardless of utilization. However, there is no value proposition for this type of billing from Heart and Soul Kids. An excellent business example is my daughter's monthly membership to a local kids' playground, where the monthly billing is adjusted for holidays and pre-planned business closures. The monthly bill is adjusted if there are fewer or more days in a month. The transactional interaction between the consumer and business allows the value proposition to favor both parties.A business practice that I disagree with is the management purposely hiring more part-time employees so they do not need to provide federal and state benefits. From a non-empathetic or compassionate business management view, similar to Amazon, this is a way to keep costs low but at the risk of mistreating low-level employees. As a fellow business owner, I prefer having full-time employees and building a work culture of excellence, compassion, and professionalism. The overall work environment morale is high, and employees work efficiently to ensure high productivity, often going above and beyond without needing to ask. That starts with doing the right thing for the business and the employees who help build the business. As I said earlier, the teachers are why we stayed so long, but the value proposition is no longer there. We found an excellent dance studio that provides a phenomenal experience for our daughter while ensuring an exceptional business experience similar to my daughter's swim school and kids' playground membership. Yes! We pay more money, but the cost is worth it.

I wish I could give a sixth star!! Shari has been an absolute dream to work with. My little wasn't feeling quite ready after registering, and Shari was so accommodating in helping us get refunded until we were ready. She communicated so professionally and kindly throughout the whole process and even hand-delivered our refund and a leotard to our house. I feel so grateful that she was willing to work with us from the beginning when the process didn't start like we had hoped it would! I highly recommend working with this wonderful establishment if you are looking for acceptance, kindness, and above and beyond service to make your child feel seen, valued, and cared for in an exciting step in childhood. We can't wait to come back soon!!

As an student at Heart & Soul, i have to say i love this place. As a 15 year old who wanted to learn gymnastics but was only able to at such a late age i thought i would constantly be embarrassed and feel left out, i soon learned that it was the opposite. The staff there were and continue to be welcoming and kind to me and the other learners. Heart & Soul is a great place for kids and teens to get their energy out and learn new skills. This place doesn't have strict guidelines, the staff attend to the students and are kind and make sure you're child or you are having fun and feel good about yourself and the things you do there. This is definitely going to be on my list of places i want to remember.
