It has been more than two years since my mom passed away under this group's care. Nurses were nice, but harried and I'm sure the whole place has turned over by now. The one thing I would tell anyone with a loved one in need of hospice is to make the time to interview at least three companies and CAREFULLY weigh whether it's ideal to keep him/her at home or transfer them to the hospice facility, which I don't think this one even has.My close neighbor and friend was over quite a bit during the final week, and she is an talented RN who doesn't put up with any B.S. After Mom passed, she told me, "Jane, that was the worst hospice I've ever seen." I think that sums it up.

This agency has caring & compassionate team members. The continuum of care is an added benefit to patients and family members (Home Health, Hospice, Palliative and DOL services.)

My mom's doctor assigned Haven Home Health for physical therapy for my mom to prevent her from falling. I could not be more unsatisfied. There was NO improvement in her strength or falling risk after 9 weeks of physical therapy and occupational therapy. Earlier this year, she was in rehab and they recommended Bayada to assist when she returned home. Her mobility, strength, and coordination noticeably improved. I was expecting similar results with Haven Home Health, but was sorely disappointed. I said she only needed physical therapy, no occupational therapy. They told me that physical therapy only covered her lower body, and she had to have occupational therapy for her upper body. At the time, I was hopeful and agreed to their recommendation, even though was I quite certain it was a way to double charge her. But I wanted her to get stronger, and I thought it will be worth it. My mom said they were friendly, but that she didn't think they were helping at all. And the results confirmed her assessment. I repeatedly asked them to schedule with me, since I am in charge of her other appointments, and they never did. They just showed up when it was convenient for them. Bayada called to schedule and they also called to give me updates on her improvement. Bayada was great. My mom loved Bayada. I will work with Bayada for any future needs. Lesson learned. :-(

WARNING TO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO USE THIS SERVICE!!!! This company has high turnover! This company failed to notify me that we were being discharged from their service.....and we were given at least 3 excuses as to why. 1. We had a hosp stay a day before their monthly visit, so no need for service. I called and let them know we were discharged. Three weeks later I called to schedule the next visit and was told that they hadn't heard from us in a while, and that the hosp never notified them of the discharge, so we were CUT OFF! That's just BS! 2. We were told that the nurse coming out was being replaced bc our services were not what she was hired to do, and anyone can do what she did. And, excuse 3. We were THEN told that they no longer take our insurance. We still don't know the truth, but know this. We have home care for a reason, and now have to physically go to the drs. office. And, HAVEN DID NOT CALL US TO LET US KNOW THE SITUATION. IF THEY NO LONGER CARRY OUR INSURANCE, THEY AND THE INSURANCE COMPANY SHOULD HAVE NOTIFIED US. We heard from no one!!!!! We only found out when we called to set up our next monthly appointment. This company has had poor administrative practices since day one!!!!! RUN! DON'T HIRE THEM!!!!!! And, if you are a nurse.......... RUN AS WELL!!!!! When a company has this much turnover it can't be good for you!!!! I know it's not good for us! They get a 2 only bc the most recent nurse and one previous nurse were good.

I was operated on March 21st and was to be cared for by Haven Home Health. The person who was doing the intake had a 2:30 appointment. She sent a note saying that she was running late and would be there between 3:00 - 3:30. She arrived at 3:50 p.m. She gave several reasons why she was late - didn't realize how far Green Valley was, I usually work the Vail area. All well and good. We were expecting company for dinner around 4:00 p.m. and told her if she could get the info she needed in a hurry - that would be fine. She finished the intake and said that another person would be in touch with us to schedule the first appointment. We waited and and waited for the call, no call. After a week or so, we decided that we would not have these people work for us. I finally called the office and I told the receptionist that I wanted to cancel their service (lack of service). The person that was suppose to call us called almost immediately. The excuses started - no one told her, she didn't get the message etc. I told her I didn't care what the reason was I wanted a discharge paper from them so I could go on with additional therapy. I told her not to try to convince me any other way - I wouldn't even consider hiring them. We never got word, even though it was promised, that she would send the discharge paper. To this date 4/15/2023 we have not heard from them. Their complete lack of concern and lack of performance is a major concern to me. I can not in good faith recommend this organization to anyone .

I would give no stars if possible...This company is dishonest and does not hold up their end of agreements. They will promise you way more than they can actually provide. Carefully consider employment with them.
