I love volunteering at the Chuck Center, whatever the weather, and then on-site when the walls we built get put up for the houses being built. A good sense of community while working with other volunteers and the future homeowners. Great Habitat staff overseeing our work at the Chuck Center. This is a good non-profit to support!

Spontaneous visit this Nov 2022 Saturday looking for a simple wall clock. There was only one which was junk. Perused the store for a sense of items and we were floored by the mediocrity of the furniture (old and quite beaten up) and the sky high prices of fridges (see pic). There were a half dozen displayed, none stainless, all quite old and on the smaller side and the cheapest one was $650, ranging up to $750. What?? You can get a brand new (stainless) 18 cf refrigerator from Costco or Best Buy for $650! With 2+ year warranties, never mind Craig's. I don't get it... but I now understand all of the other 1-star reviews. On the positive: decent hours; parking is easy; and they've got vending machines for drinks and snacks.

Oh my gosh, I love Habitat Tucson! After coordinating a volunteer day for our local Yelpers, I learned such much about this organization and met some amazing people along the way. Seriously, the team at Habitat Tucson is represented by seriously dedicate, genuine and enthusiastic people. Rebecca, one of the volunteer coordinators couldn't have been more patient and helpful. Brooke and Joseph are truly a dynamic duo. Working with them to make our volunteer day happen and then coordinate a party at their gorgeous office space was so much fun. Yes, I did just say you can party at their office. I'm not sure if they rent it out for private events on a regular basis, but it wouldn't hurt to ask! It's huge, contemporary and really a beautiful space. Back to what Habitat is all about. I always has a vague understanding about what Habitat for Humanity is all about, but after volunteering and actually stepping onto a build site, it all came together and it was one of the best volunteer experiences I've had. Habitat for Humanity literally helps people realize the dream of owning a home. It's no give out my friends. Folks that have applied for a home also have a major hand in building their home. It's quite remarkable. This is an organization that I truly believe deserves all of the support it can get- whether you donate money or your time on a build. If you're looking for place to give some of your time and connect with some truly wonderful people, keep Habitat Tucson in mind!

I've been to multiple HFH stores in California with wonderful deals in Torrance, Bellflower, Garden Grove etc....and I'm dumbfounded as to why this location in Tucson AZ over prices their merchandise? There are no great deals here and how sad that is. Tucson deserves better.

This is the last time i will step foot into this store, im sick of the prices and the attitude of the manager is just ridiculous, rude and unhelpful. You try to support a good cause but managers with an attitude and retail prices are out of hand. At least i get a warranty at Lowe's and home depot

They help so much! Was able to get a table and a chair easily. They pull aside what you want to buy and load it up in your vehicle for you. Fantastic guys!
