It was a busy Saturday night and traffic was horrendous on the Blvd. I pulled into Chili's and left because there was no room at the bar. I walked over to Guadalajara's and felt a friendly vibe and saw the untraditional bright decor and took a seat at the bar. The main dining area was full and lively at 930 pm. I don't find the locals in Tucson to be as friendly as NJ but I had an informative and fun conversation with my barmaid. She gave me excellent service despite being very busy. I ordered the Cameron Pantone plate and was impressed with the free chips and salsa. With my appetizer, came a beautiful woman table-side who made my salsa to order. I overdosed on the chips so that was it for my food here. I will go back to taste more of their food because I felt comfortable and pampered here. As a temporary traveler, this bar is memorable and stood out.

In a town with an embarrassment of riches when it comes to Mexican food, this place is the best I've had. The guacamole and salsa are made to order next to your table with an amazing medley of flavors. They have both traditional and creative dishes such as enchiladas with pinto bean sauce and fajitas with a flaming shot of tequila. The frozen margaritas are made with just frozen fruit - no ice! The ambiance is great as well with fun Latin music.

Enjoyed my first ever Molcajete at Guadalajara's and was not disappointed! This is such a great location to go to for any sort of group celebration. There's a wonderful, festive atmosphere and generous, kind wait staff that are the cream of the experience. I would recommend splitting a Molcajete with a friend, because the portions are huge!

I was a bit tentative about coming to this location due to some yelper's reviews; however, I was very pleased with our meal. Straight away, a lady came to make "made to order salsa" at our table and fresh guacamole. Since there was 6 people, we got two salsas. Delicious. The guacamole, outstanding. Lunch specials run until 3:00. I had a grilled shrimp salad. Nice flavors, but the shrimp were small. The salad was fresh but I felt it was overpriced. What is more, it came with a little bowl of "cilantro cream vinaigrette". I love vinegar, but it was too strong for my taste. My gf had a beef taco plate. She said it was decent. Everyone else seemed happy with their meals. Then one of my friends ordered fried ice cream. He said it was really good. Overall, I would certainly return and probably try the lunch specials. Chips & salsa were awesome.

Started off with the tableside chips and salsa which was delicious. Atmosphere was nice and seemed pretty authentic. Also ordered a margarita which was very good. I think they are known for their margaritas around town. The service pretty good and server checked in often but not too often. Reason for not 5 stars was that the quesabirria was just okay. Nothing too special. Other than that great experience. Would definitely come back to try something else on the menu.

This is now one of my favorite places in town! The salsa and guac is made in front of you and you can choose the spice level. The ingredients are always fresh and delicious. The staff is always so pleasant, helpful and tentative to the customers. We chose a huapango plate that includes fajitas with your selection of proteins accompanied by traditional rice, beans and tortillas. It is a family platter but was absolutely delicious The restaurant is decorated in a Mexican hacienda style which gives it an authentic vibe. You definitely need to check it out! My visitors from out of town were pleasantly surprised when the lady who makes salsa and guacamole wheeled her table up to our table and proceeded to make fantastic guacamole and fresh salsa in front of us.
