The food was fine. The guacamole was decent, the handmade salsa was a nice touch. The food took a looooong time. We had a party of 12 but it wasn't busy at all when we arrived. It took an hour to get our food. I watch other people get food, my water cup sat empty for about 20 minutes before the server refilled. When the food finally started coming it took a long time. The others at my table had their food for 10-15 minutes before mine came out. Order was wrong for two of my table mates, wrong tacos, no chicken in quesadillas. Then, I didn't get a plate to put my tortillas on, and there was no traditional boat that comes with all fajitas anywhere you go ever- you know, lettuce tomatoes, pico . I asked the server, she only heard lettuce then came back after all this and told me she was going to have to charge me for lettuce because her manager was really watching her. I couldn't believe after all that you wouldn't try to accommodate a customer with the basics of what comes with fajitas. Skip this place. Food is good enough but poor service isn't worth it.

My wife and I stopped in to have lunch today.... TERRIBLE!!!! The crowd was not large, but the service was so bad and slow. A few things....1. I was not really wanting to eat allot after we ordered the table side guacamole and salsa so I asked if they had an all-carte option? Told "no" and so I said I needed a minute. She came back and I asked, do you not offer kids menu.... she began a story and then said she would be back. The kids taco/rice cost more than an adult meal! It was $12-$13 for ONE taco, rice and a drink. I decided to not order and stick with the two items already on the table while my wife ordered her lunch. Very small portion for her for the $$$$.2. I got my bill; it had a 4% "surcharge" noted and included AFTER the fact. No where did I see this to be included. This was NOT for using a credit card and applied to cash sales as well. When asked, she said it was as it was (my words on her comment). It was noted this was included to "keep prices low"...a surcharge does not do that! I would have considered this as a cost to eat there and not had an issue had I BEEN ABLE to make that decision before I ordered and ate and received my bill! Seems very suspicious and sneaky to me!

We were really excited to try this place but our first experience was not the best which is disappointing because the salsa and chips were delicious and our entrees sounded delicious. My only complaint is the margarita was 90% tequila basically tasted like a shot and barely any flavor....We waited an hour for our food to come out and we unfortunately had no more time left to wait for our food and had to leave. The guests seated behind us came after us but got their food way before us. We will likely try another location but this one left us extremely disappointed.

Went on a Saturday Night with no reservation as a party of 3. We waited for half an hour next to several seemingly-empty booths before we could be seated. While the freshly-made salsa and guacamole made tableside was nice, we managed to go through both and 4 bowls of chips before our entrees came out. The food leaves little to complain about it was really the long waits that killed it. Not sure if they were just short staffed that evening or if this is a more systemic issue for them. I cannot recommend going here without a reservation.

Not a bad spot for happy hour, or some dinner.Tableside Salsa, a staple of Guadalajara restaurants reminds me of lunches in Mexico. Welcomed addition to dinner.Drink specials on happy hour are good. Especially that House Margarita that comes in huge glass, and the 22oz Drafts!Food was just OK. Menu felt like I was at Lazy Dog or Cheesecake factory. Just too many options to go through. We settled on some basics, and they were just ok.Rice was a little hard for me. As in I got the edges that dried out...where its not just crispy, its over-cooked dry. Steak Fajitas a little on the dry side. Chimichanga was huge, the carnitas were good.I ordered a Camaron dish where they used tortillas like noodles (an Original!) and it was just ok.Service was Good. The servers were very nice, and very attentive.I think I'd reserve this place for drink and appetizers for HH. It might be nice for an occasional dinner, but this felt very "El Torito"-ish in a land where authentic Mexican food can be had in a multitude of places.

When people visit Tucson this is one of the restaurants that I take people to for the freshly made table-side salsa, food, and variety of flavor options for the margaritas. Make sure to try the prickly pear for sweet or the jalapeño margarita if you want a bit spicier. They have bright Hispanic heritage themed restaurant decor. There are several different locations, however the service is not always consistent across them all. The one on Kolb is one of the best for customer service and food quality.

Oh man, this has become one of our must stop spots in Tucson. The table side guacamole was the best guac I've ever had. I got the fajitas with chicken, steak, shrimp and carnitas. It was absolutely delicious and they gave me four huge tortillas to come with it. My wife was a little disappointed that her Chimicangas werent deep fried a little bit more, and my son didn't like the chicken tinga taste in his nachos. He much preferred the classic tasting chicken from my fajitas. However, everything tasted amazing and we had great service. I like the decor and they offer a very robust menu. It's a little pricey, but I think it's totally worth it. If you are in Tucson and love Mexican food, it's a must try.

Came here for Mike's bday dinner. Server, Dulce, was fabulous! I had a slight issue with my meal (I ordered a shredded chicken flauta & I got ground beef flauta) Dulce was very apologetic & made it right without an issue! Food was fantastic. I ended up getting 2 shredded chicken enchilada's with white sauce, very tasty! My husband got chicken/stean fajitas which he said were tasty as well! All in all, it was a very nice atmosphere & enjoyable time. Sorry no pics, we were hungry! Hahhaa :)

The food was all excellent, however, the table side salsa had way too much garlic. We should have asked the server to go easy on it.3 of us shared a combination plate and a burrito and it was enough to fill us up. The server was wonderful but slow. He had too many tables to cover. The atmosphere was relaxing with nice Mexican interior decorations. We would recommend the restaurant to anyone looking for great food.
