Took our dog Mica here today for a bath & grooming time get the desert dust off him. They did a wonderful job! They take great car of the dogs here, they even lock the entry door when introducing a new dog to ensure other dogs don't come in during that time. Bottom line: wonderful work, great care for our dog. What's not to like?

This place is fantastic! The staff is helpful and sweet with the animals and seem to enjoy working together. Our dog was happy when we returned and her fur looked shiny and beautiful.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I chose this place because I didn't want my puppy to be put in a cage, and I thought she would enjoy playing with the other dogs. That would be the only positive to her experience there. She is a 16 week old labradoodle. I brush her every day. Her ONLY problem area was her front paws. I texted an image of the TRIM that I wanted to the groomer, as to avoid confusion. She let me know her front paws would be shorter due to the knots there, I was fine with THAT ONLY. I come back to get her at the end of the day to find her hiding under their desk, COMPLETELY shaved, face, whiskers, everything! She was unrecognizable. They charged me 65 dollars for choppy shave, and refused to refund me for my extreme dissatisfaction. I would strongly advise anyone to find a different establishment, my anger, sadness and frustration with this place can not be stressed enough.

These guys are so accommodating, my dog is way old and way fury and dirty. I don't bath her myself because she just goes and rolls in the dirt (not pretty). they furminate her taking off that nasty undercoat, and she comes back clean and smells good.I really don't know what I would do with out them.

In reference to Lauren Z: I was Prim's groomer. As we told your boyfriend and your dad, Prim was very good for a 4 month old puppy. She had a good day, considering all we had to do to get thru her severe matting. When you brought Prim in both Ellen and I went over her with you and showed you how tight the matting was on her legs. We told you that the matted areas would be extremely short. After I started her grooming, I realized her matting was worse than originally thought. It would be very cruel to put a dog, especially a puppy thru a severe dematting, and yes, even her face was matted. I called you and spoke with you regarding this. It took 3 people to comfort her on the grooming table in order to get her grooming done. When her grooming was finished, she again had a chance to play, and she showed us she was not upset with all we put her through. When you picked her up, she was tired. She had a good day at Groomingdales. We hope that you will take advantage of our offer to teach you how to take care of her coat, so this doesn't ever happen again.

I brought my dogs here last weekend for some grooming.I have a maltese who is about 5 who hates getting groomed but tolerates it because it happens regularly, and a 10 year old beagle who also doesn't really like the groomer but tolerates it.I am pretty sure my dogs LOVED this place. It is hard to tell with just one time, but both seemed really happy when they came out. The ladies were all so nice and i could tell they really liked my dogs and having them around all day.The only thing I would suggest is to cheer the place up a bit! Groomingdales has such a nice website, and the inside of the building is a little worn/dark. I will definitely bring my dogs back here soon and post an update. :)

I was very nervous to have my 18 mo old Bernese Mountain Dog groomed because she'd only been groomed once before and she hates the drier. But She was shedding like crazy! They did an amazing job with her. They were so sweet with her and she looks gorgeous! Whatever de-shedding shampoo they put on her was miraculous.

Our female shihpoo suffered an anal gland tear and a small adjacent wound after grooming at Groomingdales. The reparative surgery cost $929. This business refused to take responsibility for this injury. The staff consists mostly of young people who are likely not experienced in expressing fluid from the anal gland which led to the injury. Friends have also told us that would not take their dog here. My wife and I agree and will use the Pet Smart grooming service in the future and let the vet do the anal gland expression of fluid. I would avoid this business. Joseph Alpert

I have had nothing but positive experiences here. We have been going for about 6 years. They helped one of my rescues get better at socialization. They worked with one of my other rescues with his paw touching anxiety. It takes time, but both dogs are better for having gone there.
