Grill On the Green

I really do not understand the low rating. I love this place! Food is ALWAYS very good. Service is occasionally a little slow, but I mean if you are in Green Valley what's the rush, right? :) I've always have had a great experience there. I have never had an issue with my food...ever! It's my favorite place to visit when I go to Green Valley. Do not let the low ratings stop you from trying this place. The ambiance is also very good. Not loud. Easy to have a conversation and not feel like everyone is listening. Also, a really nice patio to sit out on and have a few drinks.

We have been here twice for lunch and dinner and the food we ordered is amazing! The restaurant is very nice and clean. The staff is very prompt with service. We ordered the club sandwich, carnitas nachos, avocado steak salad, the kids butter pasta with veggies and fruit. My son loved his pasta and we finished everything on our plates. We also had an old fashioned, Malibu and pineapple and Bloody Mary with Tito's vodka. Overall we were very happy with the service and food we received. The restaurant also had really nice decor and portraits!

They require reservations for 5:15 at a bar and grill on the golf course. After sitting a while, we realized no one in the dining room had their food. Of course, "we're short of help" comment was used as we walked in. After 45 minutes we received our food. My Caesar salad had some dark brown greens, although the salmon was excellent. $16 Small serving. My husband's surf and turf were minimal quantities for $30! Three shrimp and maybe 3 oz steak. Probably will not eat there, again.

I witnessed multiple employees plating dishes without gloves! Touching patrons food with their bare hands seconds before being served.One of the employees noticed I was looking as he touched my food and he haphazardly washed his hands afterwards in a poor attempt to undo what I saw.The kitchen staff then congregated after they realized I was observing and put on gloves as though annoyed they had been caught.Beyond this being an establishment in the heart of our older generation, it's unacceptable for all of us.

Ate here tonight 5:15 with out of state friends. Food was ***-****.Service only a 2 or 3*. We ordered "petite dinners and received regular portions and regular prices. Just saying, speak up super loud when you say Petite!

Truly disappointed. Thought this might have been a pleasant experience, ended up being a little stressful. After being seated we waited at least half an hour for water and another 15 minutes for an actual wait person. Drink orders arrived shortly after and we placed order for food. Another long wait. Actually the food was very goodOur bill was incorrect, having ordered from the lighter portion we were charged for the full price portion, an extra 12 dollars.Another 20 minutes to track down the waiter. They removed our drinks from the bill. Pretty decent. If you have 2 to 3 hours for a dining experience, as mentioned, the No in food was very good.

Chicken Marsala great dish - attentive service and price was right.Restaurant very clean and we definitely will go again.

I've been there a few times after golf and was there yesterday waiting for some friends to finish. I was at the bar for 15 minutes. A few employees came by and no one said a word until I asked if I could get served. This seems to be the norm here. The staff are very friendly and there's a nice atmosphere, but the service is extremely slow.

Great place for dining with family and friends. The service staff is wonderful and there's an awesome view of the golf course.

I have always counted on this restaurant for good food and service. Been going there for over 10 years. Last week, I invited friends, telling them how great it was. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! Terrible service, below standard food. I ordered a specific salad, and was served a totally different one. Medium-rare steaks were over done! Drink orders not fulfilled. I love the location, and only wish this situation could be improved. It's not the personnel...it's the management!
