To anyone looking to store their RV at a storage place in the Sahuarita/Green Valley area, please be cautious. We stored our motorhome at Green Valley RV & Self Storage and on Duvall Road and it was stolen from there. Of course, first thing we did was go to the office there only to find nobody onsite, yet they claim to have someone there 7 days a week. So we called the number only to be directed to a call center, who told us nobody was working that day (March 6th) and to call the police. When I received a call back from the manager, I asked about whether they were going to collect our automatic rent payment and I was told that he would pull it. Well, when I realized a couple days later that the payment went through, I called them. I was told by the same manager, that he did not realize we were not going to keep our storage spot. I inquired about whether the police had followed up with him, which he had confirmed they had. I asked if he was able to provide video footage to them to investigate. His response was "the camera has not worked since he had been there". To say I was shocked is an understatement. So they have a camera at the in/out gates and it does not even work. Someone stole our 30 foot motorhome from there! When you are looking for a storage place, do not assume that the cameras work or that they keep any history. It's important because the contracts are very clear that they take absolutely zero responsibility if something is stolen. Make sure you insure your property when you store it. I would contend that they breached the contract by inferring that they have someone onsite 7 days a week AND that they have video surveillance just because there is a camera there. I would not recommend this storage place to anyone as they are unable to staff accordingly and do not have video surveillance.
