I brought my sister to Glows Designer Wigs right before she began her Chemo treatments 6 months ago.We totally understood the return & exchange policy. With that being said why can't Marcy help my sister bring her wig back to life? Her wig looks awful, it's practically brand new. During her treatment the last 6 months she was home bound & hardly wore her wig. Yet it looks worn & old. My sister paid close to $800 for a nasty ratty wig off a styrofoam head without labels. Marcy told her what shampoos to buy $30 products & that made the wig look worse. Then Marcy proceeds to tell her, " I don't know how you treated your wig." Are you kidding me.We aren't asking for a refund or exchange she wants a wig she can wear that she paid way too much for. Honestly, her $22 Amazon wig looks much nicer than her $800 Glows Designer one. Marcy your wigs don't live up to your hype. Treat your cancer customers better.

I have a form of alopecia that required me to start wearing a topper. Marci helped me find one that looks great. After I wore it for a few weeks I realized I needed it trimmed a bit which she did. NO ONE ever suspects that it's not my own hair. Very satisfied. It was not cheap, but it's worth it.

I always look for the best reviewed place to do business. I noticed two bad reviews on Yelp regarding this place. However, in the reviews themselves those customers expectations were unrealistic. All the reviews on Google were exceptional so I scheduled a consultation.Marcy at Glow Wigs is the real deal. She is kind, experienced, service oriented and spends as much time making you understand the options available to you as she does with the fit and cut. Her inventory is extensive, the quality is second to none and she is a delight to spend an hour with.I not only purchased a wig (partial) and some supplies from her but I would do it again in a heartbeat. If you need a solution to hair loss I would encourage to spend an hour with Marcy before you do anything else.Thank you Marcy!

After losing my hair from chemo I asked around and found glow wigs in Oro Valley. I think Glow is a rip off. Since purchasing an expensive wig there, I found the exact same wig for 75% less at the Hair Club. The sales person at Glow was not very helpful she did not instruct me how to adjust the wig and was pushy. At The Hair Club Sales person took time to instruct me in the care and use of the wig. He also gave me a stand and comb. Glow wanted $15 for the same wig stand and suggested that I buy special shampoo for $30!

I always check reviews on Yelp and Google. Yelp had less favorable reviews than google. I decided to give Glow Designer Wigs a chance. I am glad I did.It is by appointment only. I made an appointment with Marcy's daughter. She was very helpful /not pushy. did a good job of matching my hair color to the toppers and explained the care instructions with me as well as providing a print out of the same. I purchased a topper and made an appointment with Marcy to style the topper with my hair cut. She was awesome. She styled the topper to fit my real hair and cut. I love it. Daughters and best friend were impressed. I definitely will do business and refer her business in the future. As far as value. I have priced many toppers. The price is a little bit more than some. But the styling is included. Which makes it a bargain for me.

After checking web page, I see that they open at 10:00...no mention of needing an appointment. I drive for one hr. and arrive a little after 10:00 and call to let them know I'm outside of their business because it is a residential home. I'm told they are not there and could see me later that day.No thanks. You SHOULD make it clear that you need to make an appointment.Won't be going back there.

Discovered this business based on the vehicle being driven by the presumed owner (or quite a fan as the license plate and back window had the game of the business) while driving in a parking lot straight down a main row suddenly this vehicle backed up and around the corner making a reverse left and co to yes backing (perhaps because the sign for this business blocking the drivers view) right into my vehicle and the driver clearly didn't see or wasn't looking or didn't care because they kept going! Granted it was slow but to be pushed backwards by this big truck was scary as anything I e ever encountered. I sat for nearly ten minutes waiting as the driver blocked the driveway protecting the front row casino parking that was the presumed reason why the driver backed around the corner and pushed me physically out of the way. I was scared to get out because I was scared the driver might hit me again but without my car and I couldn't leVe the car in the middle of the road like this driver was doing. So I waited while the man who was obviously uncomfortable that all traffic was stopped because of him, was trying to put a food to go order into his car and about ten minutes later he pulled out and Goowigs car pulled in. The driver didn't like the angle and backed up suddenly again nearly hitting me again but I was in reverse and watching in front and behind just in case. I am truly shocked but if someone wants to advertise their business they shouldn't behave like an absolute antisocial jerk because I was certainly not the only witness. They might have the best wigs in the world but I would say stay away on the basis of this behavior. I wouldn't even know about the business if this advertising wasn't on the car but it is social justice that along with the positive effects of free advertising, you also should have the free negative press when you operate your advertising in an irresponsible dangerous and completely selfish and self focused manner. I have never seen anything so blatantly offensive and II had to share this with anyone who might think to give this person more money to spend at the casino because this is how they behave.

I was emotional and desperate for help. I had tons of breakage on already thinning hair due to tape in extensions. Glow wigs was recommended and I made an appointment. I felt rushed and constantly interrupted. I ended up purchasing a topper. When I mentioned more than once I wasn't sure about the color and it was to blonde, I was reassured by the owner and the daughter the color was a perfect match and looked great. Again, I was desperate to fix my hair so I purchased it. I spent a fortune just in the end to be unhappy. I called a total of three times with no answer so finally got a response after texting that basically stated all sales are final! The topper is synthetic so I am unable to change color. I am now forced to not use it or pay to have my base color changed & damage my hair even further. So unhappy but more angry that two professional hair salons have told me they should have matched my color better and that I was taken advantage of in my distress. Terrible for someone who is in crisis and emotionally vulnerable!Aj

This review is not as 'glowing' as many others. My husband and I were impressed when we entered the owner, Marcy's salon/ studio, which had a funky 70's charm. Right away, I asked to have the loud rock music to be turned off. Also the lighting was very poor which should have been a warning sign. After giving my specifications, I was shown three wigs, each of which greatly increased in price. The third seemed to be closest to what I wanted. I asked if it had the appearance of a scalp, so called monofilament. She said yes, which was technically true, but I later discovered it only went back about 3 inches, covered up by the bangs. The place when the part really showed did not look like scalp, indicative of a cheaper wig. I was not happy that the back just went straight down. The owner said she could feather it more, but I had to buy it first. She had quoted the price of $650 dollars, of course, was exorbitant, but I believed her claims that it was truly was a high-quality wig. My husband paid for it. She took a few wisps off which didn't really get the results I expected. I later found out that the trim revealed the mesh underneath. She suggested I wear the wig home. I never occurred to me there was no box and no label. It had just come off the styrofoam wig form.In the car, I looked in the mirror. The color was so much more grey in natural light. I had asked for platinum. It didn't look good with my skin color and it LOOKED like a wig. One would hope for that price that it would look more natural. By the time I got home, I realized I had been very stupid; I had paid over $700 (with tax) for a wig I would probably never wear. I called to see if there was any recourse, since I was so unhappy, but of course, she said all sales are final. I had trusted her but had been gouged... big time. If you decide to patronize Glow Wigs, be wary. All her wigs are synthetic and of average quality. Don't settle for a wig that doesn't fit your specifications. Ask to see the wig in better lighting. And above all, negotiate the price.

I purchased a lovely wig. Marcy was very helpful; however when I got home and looked at the bill she charged me $20 for the styrofoam wig head and $20 for the folding wig stand, I thought this was excessive. It's my fault I should have asked but I remember she didn't like it when I asked her the prices for the wigs I was trying on. It's a big purchase, good heavens! I tried on several wigs when I picked the one I liked that's the actual one I bought. It's not like she went in the back and brought me a new one in packaging. So I wonder, how many women tried on my wig before me? I was afraid to ask just washed it when I got home.
