Glass Shoppe Coins

I had the most informative, helpful meeting with Anthony Tumonis today. He owns and operates Glass Shoppe Coins. His name had been given to me by several business people in Tucson to be a person I could trust to give me a fair appraisal of my coin collection. He was so helpful to me on many issues. He helped me resolve one pressing issue and gave me the referrals I needed for future business. All of this he did for me while being just so nice. I think Tony is an exceptional business person and just a genuinely nice person. If you have any business that you could take his way, you could certainly do that, knowing you will receive the best, most honest services. I now consider him, my friend.

It's hard to sell coins when you really don't know the value. We did a sample Group of coins to 3 shops Tony was number 2 and lower by 50.00 for theBox. We really liked him, but we had to get more for the collection. Nice shop

Recently had some inherited coins that I was interested in selling. In the end, this shop OK thank you can you do you wanna post it provided the best customer service and best bid for the entire lot. Definitely recommend this for any of your coin needs.

I stopped by this afternoon and showed Anthony coins and stamps I had collected over 50 years. Lots of old silver dollars, circulated silver coins and other types of coins. I also had some coins from Canada , England and several countries in Europe nothing really spectacular. Also had a stamp collection of US and world stamps again nothing really outstanding. Anthony was not rushed and we discussed what he was seeing and some information on the coins and stamps he was reviewing. All the time he was doing some grading and appraising of my hoard. When we had spent about 30 minutes he made me what I felt was a generous offer that I accepted. I would gladly do business with him again and thought he was very fair in his dealing with me.

Friendly and helpful. Didn't mind taking the time to explain things to my son. Will definitely go back when we're ready to sell.

Not a good place to sell collectable gold coins, as he only pays melt. All the reviews are from folks that don't know coins and were taken in by his kindness.Said the spider to the ...anyway. You will only get melt for gold coins and lotsof people are happy with all that money even if it's short. So if your coin hastwo types of value, one being the gold value the other the coin value, well youwill not get them there, you only get the melt value. You get both values.

Tony is very honest and personable, and he really knows his stuff. I had just come from a nearby coin store where the buyer was very dismissive and handled all of my coins with no gloves. I was too intimidated to say anything.When I got to Tony's, I removed a coin from its flip, and he reminded me (kindly) that I should never handle coins with my bare hands. While the other store said my coins were practically worthless, Tony gave me a fair price on many of them. I was so relieved to do business with a professional like Tony, and I will always take my coins to Glass Shoppe. Tony is the best!

Friendly and best price for the gold and silver I was selling. I was there during coin club and the community feel was a nice bonus.

Have sold items to Tony for several years. He has always offered me a fair price and treated me respectfully. Excellent gentleman, easy to talk to, and willingly shares his knowledge with you.Always enjoy stepping into this shop.

I have been to numerous coin shops in Tucson and around the country, but Tony impressed me so much, that I am writing my first review ever. He is really the best person to talk to and get information about coins. He is also the most respectful when it comes to buying from customers. I am done dealing with places that presume I don't know anything and offer insultingly low amounts for my coins. Tony is NOT like that in any way and I no longer do coins with anyone else. Great guy.
