Best quality sushi in Tucson! Honestly I was losing hope on finding a quality Japanese restaurant in Tucson but came here based off a friend's recommendation and was pleasantly surprised! I was shocked how busy this place was on a Thursday night - luckily there were a few seats open at the bar- otherwise we would've had to wait almost 30 minutes! It's a great place for a group, family , date or solo eating. The chirashi bowl had great quality fish and was overall delicious. I enjoyed my lychee martini as well! The sushi boats looked amazing and I definitely want to try next time. I gotta say the prices are pretty steep compared to other sushi spots and similar dishes in other cities, but I haven't found quality that matches this in the area so it's worth it.

Outstanding food quality but lackluster service. We had dirty plates in front of us and seldom water refills.Saturday night, 7pm ish. We were offered a seat on the patio, but the heater wouldn't work so they moved us to the sushi bar. They were friendly and accommodating for that process. We didn't have to wait long, even though the restaurant was pretty full. The prices were on par with, or just slightly higher than pretty much any higher end sushi bar.The Omakase sashimi for $105 was delicious. It had lots of very fresh and unique options in there. I would say this is definitely a place to come for the nigiri or the sashimi rather than the rolls. This place leans more towards authentic side for sure.A hamachi hand roll for $9 is a little expensive, but it was soo delicious, so there is decent value there.Miso soup for $4 is way steep. Most traditional sushi bars will just give it to you. I just wish the service was a little more attentive. My wife was angry that she had dirty plates in front of her. When in Tucson again, we will probably try this one again.

Absolute great find! Our first time here, we were wondering if we should make a reservation, but we didn't get a chance to...we walked in before 6 pm. We were just lucky to get seated right away. Love the accommodation. Our server was very friendly; since he knew it was our first time, he took his time to give us a little briefing on their menu. It is a small place and they can get really busy, so I would recommend making a reservation. I love the fact that the sushi chefs are Japanese, which makes this place authentic. And we loved everything we had. No complaints here. I love the location, although it was quite a drive for us. This is now one of my favorite Japanese restaurants!

The service and ambiance here is divine! We thoroughly enjoyed our collection of Special rolls! This is the perfect date night spot, with the prices being right around what we expected for a fancier sushi restaurant. The salmon toro was also delicious! Can't wait to come back!

Ginza is always the sushi restaurant I suggest when anyone asks for delicious sushi! But it had been a couple years since I had visited and I forgot how incredibly delicious everything is! To start, their miso soup is gluten free and so flavorful and delicious! Their staff is very knowledgeable about what is gluten free and what can be made gluten free. And there are SO many options! They are able to swap real crab instead of the fake crab to make rolls gluten free.Everything as beyond delicious, the staff was so helpful and friendly and the ambiance is pretty and calm.We went early (5:00), no wait. But it was full by 5:30.Can't wait to go back soon!

We came here for dinner tonight (a thursday) and the restaurant was full. I recommend making a reservation. We ordered the 911 roll without siracha and they misunderstood and removed all spice (no spicy tuna on top, only regular tuna) and then it was very plain. We tried to build our own roll by using the mango roll as a base and adding both cream cheese inside and adding pieces of salmon, maguro and yellowtail on top of it. They put the mango inside so it was only small pieces of mango and you couldn't really taste it over the cream cheese and the fish. So maybe next time, no cream cheese and bigger pieces of mango(like a big piece of mango on the top and the fish on top of that). The octopus sunomono salad was ok. I didn't like the sweet cucumber it was on and the octopus was pretty chewy. The Ceviche roll ordered as is was good. I really liked the maguro, scallops and uni nigiri. The Hakkaisan sake was decent but a bit too warm. Next time I need to remember to order a chef's choice roll.

Sushi bar chefs are friendly, fast and even funny! Always busy, so plan a reservation to get a seat. People love this place and we have had some great meals here. Tonight we got the Ginza Boat and an order of Uni- it wasn't bad...wasn't great- Uni was ok- yellowtail was phenomenal...rest was well presented, but nothing I will be craving later this week. Definitely a nice vibe at Ginza with various attire - an intimate restaurant that can get loud Will give the boat another shot...

This sushi restaurant is a true find! The fresh fish and flavorful rolls, like the indulgent blue fin toro and refreshing ceviche roll, exceeded expectations. The friendly staff welcomed us warmly, and the cozy outdoor seating was good for us (we dined with 2 kids). With quick service and a relaxed atmosphere, it's a must-visit spot for anyone craving delicious sushi in a welcoming setting.

I've visited Ginza Sushi multiple times, and while the food is generally good, the attitude of the owners leaves much to be desired. Constructive criticism is part of running a business, and it's disappointing to see how poorly they handle it. It's clear from other reviews as well that many patrons have experienced similar dismissive and unprofessional behavior from the owners.Customers choose to spend their money and time supporting a business, and that loyalty should be met with appreciation and respect, not hostility. Running a restaurant is about more than just serving food--it's about creating an environment where people feel welcomed and valued. I hope the owners can take feedback as an opportunity to grow, rather than react defensively. The food may be good, but good food without good service is simply not enough especially for the price you are paying. Sometimes fish doesn't taste fresh. Hopefully, Ginza Sushi can work on improving their approach to customer relations, as it would go a long way in building better relationships with their patrons.
