Talk about a slice of Americana. It's main street is right out of the 50's, frozen in time. The was great to drive through and gaze out at all the old cars. There isn't actually anything here to do in terms of shopping, as it's just an art project reflecting a slower time, but it's right next to downtown Bisbee, yet off the beaten path enough that's it's easy to miss. If you have an extra twenty minutes to reminisce however I'd certainly recommend swinging through here with the wife. Kids won't appreciate it, but grownups will love it.

If you want to experience walking in a 40's- 50's Ghost Town, this is it. Erie Street is located in the town of Lowell, AZ just on the other side of Bisbee. When the mining company started digging the Lavender Pit they swallowed up the town except for the main street. It looks like time stood still here. There is a man who owns the garage mid-street and he buys and fixes up the old cars and vehicles that line the street. When you stroll down the street you might even see him working on or under one of them. If you do, stop and have chat with him. He loves to tell stories, especially how he sometimes drives one of them over to Bakersfield to see the drag races. If you are hungry there is the Breakfast Club. They serve very good meals and excellent coffee.

Great little place and when I saw little I mean little but still fun to see and a must for the to do list. It brings you back in time and if you have an imagination you can imagine how it was like back then. Lots of photo opportunities. You can either park on the street or there is a little parking lot a little further up

Lowell, Arizona is right outside of Bisbee, just a stone throw away. It is a retro throwback street that transports you back in time. It is a charming abandoned street with empty store fronts. Texaco, Harley Davidson, Greyhound, a Theater, a pub are some of the attractions. Vintage army vehicles, fuel pumps, buses and other cars line the streets. It is great for vintage car enthusiasts or those longing for yester year. Stephen King's miniseries, Desperation was filmed here as was William Shatner's Groom Lake. This ghost town is great to get some cool photos. It was once a copper mining town. Don't miss Erie Street. It's like an American Picker's dream.

This is a fun, easy to visit part of Bisbee. It's right off of the main round-a-bout outside of Old Bisbee. It's a small street with old buildings, cars, signs and other items. Fun to walk down and take a look at all the old stuff. I'm not sure who runs or keeps it up, but I'm glad they do!

The street is just as it was described, looks like time just stopped for a bit and everything works as it did in 50s and 60s. It will be a favorite with old car and vintage motorcycle buffs. Glad we stopped here.

I loved Lowell! Keep in mind you won't spend a whole lot of time here. Besides eating at the Breakfast Club there isn't much left of Lowell. Definitely eat here then stroll down the one block town to take in the time warp. Old cars, defunct business and a few local stray dogs. Great picture options!
