Genesis OB Gyn, PC

I'm really having a tough time with this review because for many years I have loved this place and my doctor. But it has really gone downhill in the last year. I don't know if the merger between medical practices have stressed out the situation but I'm looking for a new doctor and practice.

Any time I have to call about anything I have to wait AT LEAST 15 minutes on hold. then on 2 occasions, after they verified my phone number, I was disconnected, they did not bother to call back so I had to call and wait again for over 15 minutes. This has gotten worse every year and I have been a patient here for many years.The doctor greets me with a warm handshake, great eye contact and a lovely smile, then spends less than 5 minutes on a routine exam and rushes out.

I would NOT recommend the FNP at the crossroads location. I mentioned to her that I've been to multiple specialists to try and help me after my ovarian cyst removal and that she was pretty much my last hope and she spent about five minutes with me and told me she probably couldn't help me. It was a giant waste of my time and money. The lobby wait time was normal for any obgyn office, it took around 30 minutes. The front desk/lab staff are really nice as well. I wish I had a better experience with the FNP.

Just don't, I wouldn't recommend Genesis to any woman. Trust me and the other reviewers this facility doesn't care about you or its patients. I left feeling totally defeated and confused. A place that is serving women, I would expect to show much more care and compassion. The appointment was rushed, my questions were not answered and the wait was infuriating!

Dr. Westerband is a negligent doctor. Its going to take me a while to get over it. I have endometriosis and her solution was to take a birth control I've already tried before, or do her friend's study through Equinox. Tried to have a conversation but she rushed out. Seriously.Also, it was over an hour of waiting for this appointment and I can't believe I paid money for zero help.

I went to this gynecologist for a check up and to have an iud removed back in January. That experience was ok but they told me they would have to have another practitioner place the new iud after they ordered it because I guess not all nurse practitioners can place them? Which I think is strange, but whatever. I get seen by the new NP who out the gate seems to be in the biggest rush. We talk while she sets up her stuff about my previous iuds/why I'm here, etc. As we are talking, not heads up or anything, she starts to insert the iud. My body pushes it out and she has do it a second time. I have had FOUR iuds and this was the worst experience for any gynecologist appointment I have ever had. I will NOT be going back. Update:It's now July and I have had the iud removed because of severe R sided pain. The iud was placed in April.

Ditto on all the one star reviews. I have been going to Genesis ob since the 80's. I have had numerous problems. I feel they have been racist and unhelpful. If you want to feel hopeless and truly aggravated, keep seeing the staff and doctors and Genesis ob. Waste time and money by going there.

Horrible practice. Their communication is awful. No wonder they've had such turn over with doctors and nurse practitioners.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Horrible service and rude people. Don't trust them with you baby I wouldn't. Can't express my extreme disappointment since they we great in the past but not now.

I'm so tired of the wait at this location. My appointments always run late, the OBs don't seem to give a shit about their patients. I do not recommend this place to ANYONE and if you need an OB find a different company.
