I used to love coming here as a kid, but my past two visits over the last couple of years have been frustratingly similar. You wait in line outside instead of immediately being let in. A lot of people don't even get their orders taken until after the show begins, meaning you miss parts of it while ordering, when food is delivered, or trying to flag down a server. Once the food is delivered, the servers seem to vanish, making it difficult to request anything else. They clearly need more staff to handle the crowd. The pizza and side salad were good, but they forgot the sides of ranch we ordered, and it took about 45 minutes to finally flag someone down to get it. If you plan to visit, I'd recommend eating before or after the show to avoid the hassle and distractions of the service issues.

Went to the Christmas show Scrooge. Gaslight always puts on a great show. The cast always interjects their own comedy into the show. I didn't get any pictures of the food because the theater was dark, however, the food in the service was great as well. If you have a chance to go to the theater and see one of their shows, it's a must.

I love when we get to come here. It's a ride from Phoenix but such a cute place and great shows to boot. Our only issues from Phoenix took us 2 1/2 hours each way. But once you are there the fun begins!A great professional show that is well produced and acted!

What a delightful evening! The Doors Tribute show was terrific! "Jim Morrison" has the voice and the moves, and the other four members of the band are also excellent. The lead guitarist played three different guitars, depending on the song. The drummer and keyboard player were wonderful, and each had solos within the songs that showcased their talents. The bass player really rocked while playing, clearly enjoying himself. The audience loved the selection of songs sang along, rocking and rolling in their seats. We've been patrons of the GaslightTheater for forty years. We enjoyed dozens of Gaslight shows when our daughter was young. A couple years ago, the philosophy must have been to pack 'em in; four people were jammed around small tables and a party of two were assigned another party of two, which was super crowded and awkward. So we didn't go anymore. When I called to reserve seats for this show, I was assured that the hub and I would have a table to ourselves and what a difference that made! At least half the tables were occupied by two.The show was at six, so we planned on dining there. Our server was excellent: so friendly and efficient you would never guess she had dozens of tables to take care of. Our pizza arrived hot and delicious, and she checked back often to assess how things were. Very much looking forward to our next Gaslight visit.

Came on a Thursday night for their show and it was a full house! The play itself was very enjoyable. Our seats were a little obstructed but was still able to see 90% of what was going on. For the price, it wasn't bad at all.We also ordered an everything pizza and their fried platter. Both were fresh and delicious! Service was great and sodas get free refills! They also give free popcorn to every table.Overall, we really enjoyed our time. This is a great date night place. We'll definitely be back for other shows!

Always a great time and such good entertainment. I truly enjoy the shows and even when it looks sold out call and get on the wait list. People cancel every show. There is no bad seat in the house. Yes, some are better than others and the table next to you is really close. Hopefully you get good neighbors so your show is not disturbed. Definitely catch a show when you can. The food and drink are great just order early to avoid the distractions during the show.

Our charity bought out the whole theatre and did our first fundraiser at the Gaslight over the weekend and the whole experience was amazing! Not only was the show Spider Guy quite entertaining, but the staff was so great to work with and very accommodating. I'll be back as a theatre goer and customer again soon!

I was given a gift certificate to gaslight theater as a bridal shower gift. Finally, I redeemed it and had a wonderful experience. Gaslight theater offers diners the opportunity to get food, shakes, drinks, alcohol beverages before watching the performance. We saw the show Revengers, which is a spoof of the Avengers series. It was a delight to watch. I didn't know what to expect and I went with my husband and some friends from church. By the time we left, we just couldn't wait to come back and bought tickets to return. There is a live band that plays the music, while other performers sing familiar and classic hits. When the show is over, there was a bonus performance with the Brady Bunch like story. What a wonderful gift to Tucson. Do check it out.

Our first time at gaslight was to see their 50's twist on the Christmas Carol. Pizza was good, drinks were good, the talent was amazing. If you get claustrophobic you might want to find a balcony seat where tables are a bit more spread out, or else you'll be shoulder to shoulder with the table next to you.It was ironic we got to see a fun production of a Christmas Carol, because the host was a big Scrooge himself. Big old guy at the host's stand giving grumpy looks at everyone, and bossing his teenage waitresses around. This poor girl was so busy running around getting the place ready for the show and he pulled her aside to scold her for something right in front of us. I couldn't hear what it was about but it was something an old guy with a power trip over teenage girls would get bossy about. Then he made her seat us while she was obviously upset and stressed. Felt terrible. I hope it was a one off thing and that he doesn't treat the rest of the employees like that.
