Gadabout

Friendly but mechanical! Not a $100 hair cut, but I heard so much about how great Gadabout salons are so I tried it twice. I was disappointed--Thank you for reaching out to me today! I appreciate that! So I would have to say 6 stars for customer service! However the money I spent including a tip, I expected more attention. My haircut took about 20 minutes approx. and then she asked me if I wanted it blown out! That surprised me too.

I requested an appointment with their BEST haircutter and got a day and time. I was five minutes late to my appointment (my bad!) and got royally lectured by this "best haircutter" as to how IMPORTANT her time is. I requested that she cut my hair in a modified wedge, which is a less severe cut than the original, iconic Sassoon wedge. She talked on and on about "helmet" haircut and "sassy" haircut, etc. etc., snipping away. When I washed my hair two days later, it turned out to be the second worst haircut I have ever had. It was only then I realized that she did not know how to cut my hair into a modified wedge but was too arrogant to admit it. Now I have to wait until it all grows out to a good length and I can find a decent haircutter and get my modified wedge back. So much for "high-end" salons and their over-rated employees. This is the Gadabout salon at Kolb and Sunrise but I wouldn't go to one at any other location.

Wow, incredible service with a gorgeous result. Far more expensive than I've EVER paid for a highlight and cut. The pampering was nearly worth it!

I had been a satisfied customer of Gadabout for several years. In fact, Gadabout Men was my favorite location before it closed. In December 2023, I went in for a pedicure which was $49. When I tried to book another pedicure in February 2024, I was told it would be $66. When I questioned the significant increase in less that 2 months, I was just told "prices change". I immediately cancelled my appointment and will not be going back again.

Just got a facial done by Reynelda, and I couldn't say enough great things about her! She was so kind and made my skin feel fresh and rejuvenated. I definitely would recommend her in a heartbeat! Thanks Reynelda!

Went in and got my haircut a few weeks ago, everything was fine for the most part during my appointment and the lady who cut my hair was nice. I asked for lots of layers and my hair felt nice for the most part, I didn't pay too much attention to it, as I usually wear my hair up. Someone noticed my hair was uneven, by a lot. Now looking at it I actually want to cry lol. Not really but it is embarrassing. Here's a pic taken after we noticed it

I have gone here four times and each time my hair was left the worst that has ever been in my entire life for 200 dollars. super cuts is the level of expertise you will receive here but from much meaner women.

Had a haircut at the Swan and Fort Lowell location by Miraya (sp). Prepared to go out today, did my hair and check it in the back. Yeegads! The cut was to be layered, There is a big chunk out of the left side of the back and right side in back was all even down to the end. What can I do about the missing chunk if hair? Wait for it to grow out and find a new salon. Was my first and last time there. Nice girl but she graduated from beauty school ?

Exorbitant prices! More than I have ever paid for a stylist. A 5-minute haircut could cost over $80, if you get a higher level stylist. And they don't tell you when you book the appointment about the different levels of pricing. The actual service and friendliness was great, but beware of the costs!
