My family has been coming to Friske For several years now and the service and exams have always been great. There's never been any pushy sales and I feel like the pricing is more than fair. I would recommend them to anyone

I've been coming to Dr. Friske since I was 4 years old and I started wearing glasses. I remember my yearly visit to be something I looked forward to - I was always comfortable and enjoyed the office and environment. Due to insurance issues, I wasn't able to go from ages 15-24. I just recently went back for the first time in ten years and it's the same as I remember. The fish tank is still in the lobby. It's clean. They're incredibly friendly and helpful. Dr. Friske is efficient and really knows her line of work. I highly recommend this office.

I've been going for years and really appreciate that everyone in the office is friendly and professional. They make you very comfortable, Dr. Friske is on time, and I never feel rushed. It's also laid back so I can ask questions and I don't feel like I'm a number. Great clinic!

I have been seeing Dr. Tami for over 20 years and never had any issues. Until my last visit. My glasses were over 4 years old and the lamination was peeling, desperately needing a new pair. My wife picked the frame, I tried them on, and ordered them. My cost was $297. When they were ready to pick up, I tried them on and immediately discovered how flimsy the frame was. This was not apparent without lenses, otherwise I would have never picked them. ANY tilt in the glasses in relation to my eyes resulted in double vision. Dr. Tami tried, in vain, to correct this for over 30 minutes. Obviously, no one can "fix" a flimsy frame. Nevertheless, I took them home on their advise to try them first thing every morning. I did this for almost two weeks, but realized within days this this pair was not going to work for me.I requested a refund but was denied and told this is the store policy. I argued that this pair was unusable and I would not compromise my safety. Imagine while driving, you need to turn your head quickly and double vision is the result. I told them I would not risk this.So I have a pair of unwearable new glasses. I did call a few other optometrists and no other office has such a policy. Not only have they lost me as a patient, but also my wife and my mother.Oh, and I should also mention that when I was discussing this with office staff, she said something very inappropriate. I shrugged it off but Dr Tami needs to know about this to prevent other patients from being castigated for trying to get a refund. Final word: I filed a request with Visa and they sided with me and credited my account the full price. Don't put yourself through this. Sorry Dr. Tami. Maybe you should rethink your policy.

I have been going to Dr. Friske for eye care for the past 7 years. The staff has always been very friendly and professional. Dr. Friske is a professional and I would highly recommend them.

AWFUL. Dr has no bed-side manner - very short, and rude, almost talks down to you too. First pair of glasses - couldn't see, had a 2nd pair made. Husband had THREE pairs made....insurance company covered another eye exam at ANOTHER DR! Prescriptions were off - and so were the markings of the progressive bifocals....making the overall vision uncomfortable and discouraging. Agree with other comments on here - Dr feels she has to do EVERYTHING to run the office...staff she has seems uncertain of procedures. She should be retiring sooner vs later! {New exam at the other Dr. resulted in lenses that can seen out of!! 1st try was a success!}

I have been there twice and each time I am made to feel sure I am getting the best exam possible. And am appreciative of the recommendations. Dr. Friske is very informational and to the point which I really appreciate. My wife likes her also. I give Dr. Friske my highest recommendation. If you want it done right this is the place to go.

I have been utilizing Friske Optometric Center services for decades. I first patronized this business soon after it opened. Since then, I have found no reason to look elsewhere for my eye exams. Dr. Tami's father, Bob, was instrumental in detecting an eye problem that I had and he referred me to an opthamologist that he had vetted and found to be very competent. Twenty plus years later, I am still patronizing that gentleman as well. I feel that health care is very important and the two most important aspects of that service are competence and trust. If you agree with those requirements then you will not be disappointed with Dr. Tami and Friske Optometric Center.

Honestly from one yelper to another, go elsewhere. This is not what you want to spend your time doing if you want a good quality eye exam and a great selection of frames. Rude doctor and has to run sales to make business.

I've been there with my child only 1 time and that was enough. The office in general and all the equipment is old and a result the measurements were not that precise (or maybe it had something to do with the doctor's qualifications or lack thereof?)The staff is not the friendliest. It appeared that they made you feel guilty because your vision is not perfect. Every time I tried to ask a clarifying question I strongly regretted it because of the response I got. Maybe she is a nice person and did not like us... but I would've appreciated if she said so ahead of time.
