It's a public park. Okay so take that into consideration. For the money (free) it's an excellent activity. Kids will have fun. Negatives: no chairs. You gotta sit on the floor or bring yours. No food allowed. My kid isn't malnourished so not a problem for me. The majority of the toilets have no privacy d/t missing doors. I feel like maybe okay for a toddler but even then...hell no. Very little to no shade- only as the sun moves and the building shades, and definitely none for the swimmers. Pros: pool doesn't stink, life guards a plenty and they aren't nearly as strict as the ones at Reid park. Almost like they have a bit of common sense. And of course the long wyndee slide. Fairly clean for a public pool. Maybe one of your city council members could throw some $$ slotted for parks and rec for some chairs tho.

It's a great little park to have soccer games even have birthday parties as they have quite a few reminders they have since upgrade at the park adding a walking path and some exercise equipment for people to utilizeIt's always nice when the games are here because they always have ice cream glands and they also have a gentleman that comes and sells frozen shaved ice drinksIt's centrally located so it's not too far to get to

Another older pool. We've been here twice and it was only busy for about 40 minutes once, as they were giving swim lessons. You have to walk through the woman or men's restroom to go to the pool. We didn't really look around but it sure does need some cleaning and updating. There appears to be some sort of leak and there's always a huge puddle in the woman's room which makes some sort of negative odor. The shallow end says it's 3 feet but my child who normally has no problem in that depth was on her tip, tip toes with her head titled back to be above the water. My child is tall for her age, so I'd have to say the shallow end is deeper than 3 feet. On a positive side, the life guards are attentive here. If your child is smaller, they will walk over and hover in the general vicinity. They actually seem to watch the people swimming. My kid swims like a fish but they kept a close eye on herPaying a $1.00 for my child to swim for 45 minutes on a hot day is a no brainer... I just can't justify the expense of a pool.
