Foxy Roxy's Chicken 'n Cone

I have to call it as I see it. $15 for cheap, frozen chicken nuggets in a tasteless cone, is not acceptable. And it wasn't even real chicken, but that chicken byproduct paste, with the bubbles in it. Ewwww! The corn ribs weren't bad though.

Greetings all. I finally returned yesterday at just after 4:00 pm opening time and put in my order for some boneless chicken wings with the hatch green chilies in the chicken bowl that comes with French fries. It cost $12 plus a $1 up charge to use a credit card plus tax. I still think the credit card fee is a ripoff. They should just say cash only and we can live with that until the government makes cash illegal. Parking is a little troublesome if more than a few show up at the same time. If one carload of people come for each available table I'm not so sure where they would all go. Maybe on the side streets, I guess. I got a little buzzer thing that was supposed to vibrate when my order was ready but it didn't work. The way I knew my order was ready was that I happened to be the first order of the day so when maskless girl brought the order to the window I guessed it was mine and went up to the window and asked her if this thing was supposed to do something. She acted surprised it didn't do anything and told me it probably didn't get charged. OK. But I did wait just over 15 minutes for my order and I had no one ahead of me.So you can see the chicken bowl in the picture. It came with a few celery sticks and ranch dipping sauce. The French fries were pretty good but not the to die for ones I had on my previous visit. I got several of the little catsup packages at the window and opened them onto the FF but the little packages kinda exploded a little all over my fingers and made a bit of a mess. They didn't offer any napkins for takeout so I just go over to the table and get some paper towels to use. The boneless chicken itself was more like little chicken balls with a thin layer of batter over it. Probably the size of a tootsie roll pop to give you some scale. The chicken is deep fried and each ball was hot, juicy and totally devoid of any flavor on its own. Good thing Foxy puts toppings on them but on their own were completely flavorless.Well, given all of the above, it wasn't all that bad and I was certainly stuffed. I didn't even get sick from anything either. They have laid out a nice astroturf ground cover on which are small tables and chairs in a socially distant arrangement. Nice orange tarps provide some cover to the sun and will be so necessary in the weeks to come. They were blasting some decent C&W from a small speaker that, for a moment, I thought I was back in.... well, not important. So, why do I want to go back and try another sauce!!!???

1st time here ! My husband seen a post on Facebook about the food truck and my mouth watered instantly ! Today we are here and surprisingly they are right around the corner from our home (double points for that one ) we where greeted with friendly smiles and awesome conversation. At 1st I only orders the cheese fries with shrimp and chicken and he was going to pass on something to eat and go else where ....until the offered him to try something so they served him some of the apple butter wings! He fell in love instantly like a little boy in grade school. So then he ordered the waffle burger It's a pretty large burger to me but to him it was Something that actually fit in his hands and looked like a burger it's sweet but also meaty! (Waffle drenched in syrup, bacon,cheese (American possibly ) patty, cheese (cheddar) and waffle . This is for sure going to be added to the list of places to go back too! I can't wait to try the some more wing flavors They deserve double the brownie points if I could give them

Great, friendly customer service! Sometimes when you get food from food trucks they make you feel like they would rather be at home, not Foxy Roxy's! They are so friendly, I can't wait to go back. But the customer service isn't the only good thing, their food was pretty darn good. I ordered the boneless chicken wings (mainly because I was at work and didn't want to make a mess) and they were hot, fresh and juicy. I ordered the Chicken cone with the stinging honey garlic flavor. The fries were ok, but the chicken and the waffle cone were really good, nice contrast between the salty chicken and sweet cone. The food came out fast and I can't wait to go back and try the regular bone-in wings!

This truck came to our work yesterday - I got the chicken waffle cone with mango habanero sauce and the macaroni and cheese bites - everything was fantastic! The sauce had a good bite to it, the waffle was sweet, and it came with fries, so all of this was a lot more than I could eat! Customer service was good, and the food came out fast! They had 3 people working the truck, so they were well-prepared for a crowd! I hope they visit us again!

I love the unique wing flavors and awesome waffle burger. Definitely a must-try for Tucson cuisine! P.S. Try the Chicken n' Cone!

LOVED the wings! Crispy outside and meaty inside with amazing sauces! Can't wait to go back to try more flavors and the waffle cones!

Super disappointed when trying this place for the first time last night. As we are big food truck fans, we understand there being a long wait but we waited 40 min for food and watched people who ordered after us get there's first. I was annoyed but if the food had been good, I would have said it was worth it. The wings we received were COLD, salty, and soggy. The chicken waffle sandwich was so greasy that when I took just a bite of the waffle itself, grease poured into my mouth from it. Completely gross. Spent $50 on food that was just not delightful. Do yourself the favor and save your money. Find another place to eat

Ive tried this food truck before and it was amazing! Tonight left a lot to be desired. I went in and ordered meals for the family and took it to go. I understand the food may get cold on the way home--that wasn't wasn't issue. What was an issue is that the chicken in one of our waffle bowls had zero sauce and fries were what tasted like a mix of nice and crispy fries and hard, not so throughly fried fries. The cook in the truck was maskless, along with the woman taking my order. Signs were plastered on the truck stating masks were required. Aside from overly priced food, my family all fell sick after eating our meals. Foxy Roxys dropped the ball tonight on family dinner. Will not be returning.

I was very excited to try foxy Roxy truck tonight but was disappointed with the customer service.... We had ordered our food and we had a customer come five minutes after us and he got served before us and he had a larger order than us. Then my husband had ordered cheese fries and we did not get cheese fries with our orders we got half fries with mac and cheese balls that we're not very appetizing they were cold. But the chicken and waffles sandwich was okay. and I feel like they are overpriced for their quality of food..... But even do better in the end cuz I have very high expectations for this food truck.
