Fox Point Apartments

The front office associates are great the maintenance team is great but the thing that sucks is all through October to March they cut the chillers off a.k.a your A.C that being said I know it's considered winter but in Arizona that fluctuates daily and most days it's so muggy and hot in are apartment we have to open windows and have many fans on to keep from sweating bullets all day the rent shows no difference due to these months of mugginess just a heads up for future tenants

The staff is friendly but unfortunately will tell you whatever you want to hear without any action behind their words. Try asking them about the jacuzzi and I'm sure they will tell you that it's in the process of being fixed. I was told that for several years. First it was the wrong parts ordered, then the contractor never showed up, etc. Well apparently the wrong parts and/or the contractor hasn't shown up for several years. I've had that same issue with many other things. Where the staff just to be nice will tell you what you want to hear. I don't personally look at it as nice. I look at it as dishonest. It's always a good idea to speak with the residents of a community prior to signing a lease you will get a lot more truth from people that live her than you will from the staff.

Office staff is always changing in this complex. Management isn't helpful. Someone was found dead, (killed by someone) in their apartment recently (end 2014). When I lived here my windshield for my car got smashed in. There also was a huge gang fight that required police to break it up. My neighbors were bringing in gang violence, had police reports filed against them by others in the community, and management didn't kick them out, even though they were section 8 residents (who are held to stricter standards of renting -- according to management). They advertise as a gated community, and the gates are always broken. One day the bathrooms tub faucet fell off and hot water shot out all over floor. Overall...skip this place. Look for something safer.

I was a tenant from January of 2014 until October 2014. The entire time I stayed at these apartments there was 1 issue after another. The office staff changes almost every couple of months. NO ONE EVER cleans up the dog crap in the dog park. I think I was the only resident who did. You cannot have control of your utilities. It is either cooler or heater. Constant traffic by unsavory people up to no good. The gates are ALWAYS broken. Mailboxes constantly being broken into. The maintenance staff that worked there when I lived there were rude as hell and showed no consideration for time. Often starting loud jobs as early as 6am. My reason for leaving was that the complex had BEDBUGS. I had the apartment treated, which they charged me for, and still had the BEDBUGS come back. Upon leaving, I was charged a lease break and still am making payments. Even though I no longer live there. While a couple of staff members were helpful, I still feel I was done VERY WRONG due to the circumstances. I now am unable to make my monthly payments that is keeping this from going to collections, due to a sick family member who I have to cover living expenses for and am pretty sure I will hear from the collection agency this complex utilizes quite soon after they receive the message. AVOID!!!!!

My friend in 1118 passed and they didn't tell us. He decomposed in his unit, but they didn't have the decency to tell us. How very sad. Choose kindness. -Linda

I am not trying to leave a negative review but I have to be honest. I am not happy with this place. Me and my boyfriend applied hoping to move on here. We had Bonny as our leasing agent and she told me we could use savings account statements from our bank in addition to proof of income since we didn't make the 2.5 times rent but she did not tell us that we have to have 12 months of rent in the savings account. She should've told us that early on when inquiring about apartments and when she told me that we could use it. She said that she did tell me but she did not. Most of our conversations was done via email and I have all the email threads and proof that she did not mention it anywhere. She kept a lot of her answers vague and left out information. Even on the properties qualifying criteria it does not mention anything about the 12 months worth of rent. We had a co-signer in place as well but found out that they didn't make the 6x rent that is required. She also did not tell me right away until I asked her that we did not get approved because we were short by $500. She just asked if we have a co-signer. Did not even give us a record of the results. It sounded like they were going to work with us since they told us to go ahead and apply when I told her we didn't make the 2.5 times rent amount but I have savings and am a good renter and have great credit but found out they did not. I was looking forward to moving here because of the location being so convenient for us since it's close to everything but we got let down. Wish I would've known before wasting our time and money. When I asked her if we would be eligible to apply again in the future if there are any changes in income or co-signer etc, I got no response. So upset. If you decide to rent here make sure they give you all the information up front because if not that's not good. Also make sure you have a LOT of money because it's expensive.

12 years I have lived here and I have had every problem under the sun with these people and maintainance issues and I am so sick and tired of you people getting away with your fraudulent apartments. You take forever to fix stuff, never help anyone who has neighbor issue or report a crime. Drivers speed in the parking lot and one day a child is going to run out and get hit I just feel it. You are awful to your residents and treat a good majority of us like we are some cliche or pieces of trash. Bonnie has a serious attitude problem and knows some of us with disabilities and treats us like we are a desease. Maddie was cool at first but then turned into a real tyrant and disrespectful about a complaint about let's say a key that someone paid for and got a copy of another different one from her family and tried to charge the resident let's say me and then act like I am condemning all of them to hell because she wants to stand up for irresponsible people who can't take responsibility for their actions and honestly I don't give a crap if they find out who I am don't harass me and bark at me back when you haven't done shit. I don't want to hear it especially if you don't want to hear any of us with a proper problem. I have so much evidence too about Scotia management so don't try me because I may be working in suing you next. Fix your shit and stop blaming us for people moving out and don't you dare say you didn't because I have proof. I a sick and tired of having anxiety and depression and suicidal thoughts because I don't feel safe and protected at all oh which reminds me the first year I moved in a guy breaks into my home with a key and all and when I told them that they did not change the locks when I moved in and that they were obligated to fulfill this request they did not and a friend had to pay out of his pocket $50 to change them. And I am also screen shooting this complaint as well so don't try to come at me like you don't know anything about any of this or attack me again because I will not put up with it anymore. I will not be bullied and I will not let my other good neighbors be bullied by you narcissistic egotistical assholes. And before you complain about my language it's called freedom of speech and therefore I am protected under this law and have every right to express how angry I am. You are lucky I have had so much training or I would have shown you what a mentally disabled person with Dissociate Identity Disorder really feels like and from what I heard when I am in this state it isn't pretty. And this is not a threat so don't go crying to the cops because you left a dead corpse to rot in our general apartments for months and were on the news and investigators everywhere on the scene two can play this game and I am fully prepared.

I lived here for 7 years. The only reason I moved is my partner moved in with me and she had an evictioniction on her credit report. We have moved across town to a smaller apt and we're very happy. I loveeD my time at Fox Pt. It was my home. It was a nice sized apt in a safe neighborhood. It was on the bus route, across from storesstores, restaurants and a Banner Urgent Care. It was near my churches also. The managers are AWESOME, especially Bonnie the Assistant Manager. Maintenance is nice, professional and takes pride in their work. The cocomplex is big and nice with two pools, one heated, a soar, GREAT gym and ramada. I highly recommend this apt complex. I miss it.

Nothing good to say about this place. Bonnie and Destiny are nice when I've spoken to them via email.

So far so good. My apartment was in the same condition as the model unit. Apartment was very clean, and move in was very easy. The front desk staff was very helpful and the entire process was very smooth for my family.
