Love ft lowell park with historic small soldiers museum from territorial days. Pool , tennis , soccer & baseball fields . Even a turtle pond in ne corner my kids loved when young used to be a larger duck pond . Years ago my children swam in summer programs , including synchronized swimming . ( & ft lowell soccer shootouts) .Those were the fun days at the park .Met some old" work friends at a reserved Ramada by the playground for family style reunion . Plenty of parking by the pool .No glass for saftey concerns . Home of the ft lowell youth soccer shootout a multi state regional & internationally attended big youth event headquartered at ft lowell park !Lucky to have well maintained large public parks in our region !

I started taking my two high energy pups here. They both love this park, it's a beautiful park, and lots of parking spots. They also have water spots. everywhere at park, bring a bowl for doggies. Just a an advise keep eye out for dead birds and fish throughout your walk.

Entry fee to the pool was a convenient price of $1. They have multiple activities available like lap swim, high and low diving boards, an open swim area and a kiddy pool. Other swimmers were friendly and joined us in a game of Marco Polo. Unfortunately, the pool had a large amount of leaves from nearby trees and did not offer lounging chairs, making the ground the only option. But lifeguards were generous to open the high dive 5 min before closing, making it a great time!

I came here for the swimming pool so I'll refer to that...Imagine a pool in the movie Mad Max, and this is pretty much it. Not only does it lack a locker, but EVERYTHING looks horrible - rusty pool bottoms, weirdly chlorinated water. There is no place to put anything - as people just throw their bags and towels randomly on the corners on the side. The only reason why the pool didn't get one star because it is rather functional despite how 3rd world country everything looks.

It's just an okay park. It is a decent play to walk your dog, sit up by the pond, or play soccer. The tennis and racquetball courts are old and the other facilities like the patios are very old. They have been talking about upgraded it which hopefully will be done.

Not the best park, not the worst. Tennis courts are in surprisingly good condition for public courts. Nets are actually upright and straight. Lots of soccer games and families in the early evening so seems safe for the young ones. Parking lot isn't in the best condition but who are we kidding, it's Tucson. If there aren't earth shattering tail bone breaking pot holes in the road you're not in Tucson. I've digressed, the park has lots of open fields, a public pool (haven't checked that out), and surprisingly good tennis courts. There are also some old Adobe like buildings that could be good for photos. Cheers!

Definitely would not swim in the pool. And it's unfortunate you have to pay to use the tennis court. Does that mean we have to pay to play basketball as well or soccer it's just crazy that they charge you. No wonder no kids go to the park anymore

Like I've mentioned, the pool is a huge. On a negative note, no shade, no seating so bring a lawn chair. Still haven't been in the locker room here. On a huge, positive note. Working lifeguards. There's a lot of lifeguards here and today they were "cleaning up" by sweeping. In addition, they had more than one lifeguard stand occupied and actually seemed visually to be watching the pool.I saw a little chit chatting but nothing like before. AWESOME!

REALLY one of the GROSSEST pools in TUCSON. With pools like this who wants to swim even in 116"F?? We were so disgusted by the algae forming in one half of the pool that no one was near it. The water was thick with FILTH !! Pollen? Tissue paper? Sticks, and all types of nastiness at the bottom of pool.. OMG if you swallow water-- JUST DESPICABLE!! need I mention the BUGS that bit ALL OF US -- the ones that swim .. ok.. IF PEOPLE are so desperate to swim they should at least demand a bit of cleanliness. Also the woman working as a Lifeguard sounded like she had emotional difficulties and screamed at all the kids (not mine). Cant they find people who need jobs and will take care of the grounds??The size of the pool is great.
