I am extremely picky when it comes to barbecue but this place has it going on.The barbecue ribs are plentiful, tasty and tenderThe service is spot on.We had to wait about 30 min one evening snd and a lot of the tables were empty but I would prefer that, than a crowded restaurant and poor service .The side dishes were flavorful I took my wife the first time and a friend back the second time.Definitely worth the experience!

Not sure what type style BBQ this is; but flavor missed the point on several items. The spare ribs, brisket, and smoked sausage were the main course. The spare ribs had a smoke ring and nice bark, but the rub lacked consistency and flavor. The brisket had no flavor at all, although the portions were plentiful and moist. The sausage is your typical Pepperidge Farms smoked sausage that you can grab from your local grocery. The pork rinds however have nice flavor, although ours were slightly overcooked. The service was slower than expected; but not too bad. The location is well designed and has a great ambiance and atmosphere, although patrons carry racist macro aggressions, which is not always in the businesses control. Parking was plentiful. Overall good food is what we were looking for and received mediocre at best. May try again in the future, but not likely for a while.

On a sept 17 a Tuesday night with maybe like 10 people dining at 6-645 besides us. Our experience was not that great. Instead of a negative review, I had called the next day & left a message for the manager to call me back. They did not bother so heres my review. 1. Waitress, young gal has no idea how to serve a table. It's about customers service and timing. It's not hard in fact it's easy. She asked us to order 4 times before we did as we drove 40 minutes one way as first timers to try the bbq. Was trying to figure out the menu and have some date night chatting. Rushing us so she can talk to her coworkers, I suppose. 2. She made some suggestions that were ok. We tried the tater tot appetizer, family garden salad and the 3 meat tray with all the upgrades. 3. We got the appetizer and just had started trying it and then the food runner comes out with BOTH the salad and the meat tray and basically slams it down. All at once? We haven't even eaten 1 whole tater tot. Hmmm not cool especially when we paid 30$+ for the meat tray. 4. The salad was kinda wilty and filled with bleh frisée and with hot food in front of me, I barely ate it. $10 down the drain for just an ok salad with zero time to try and eat it and enjoy. We were working on talking and the tater tots trying to make the best of an already awkward dining experience and slam. Heres your food. 5. The waitress was having more fun talking to some bros at the bar than tending to us. She OFFEReD to put our $$$$$ meat tray under the heat lamp while we ate the salad. Girl, you just said what? That was so annoying, bc she could have just spaced it out like a seasoned waitress does for tables in an empty restaurant. That was the type of service I thought FF offered. Guess not. 6. The meat tray. UGH. Ok so we eat out and bbq and steaks alot in town. I even shop at 3 local butchers on the east side so I think we understand about delicious bbq meat. The tiny shriveled slices of brisket were cold. Like real cold. Maybe it got sliced at 2 pm and got served at 6 was my guess. The sausage was literally charred BLACK and it was such a small portion I was surprised as the waitress assured us there would be plenty to take home. I have never paid that much for such a small portion and We literally bought every upgrade possible. On a brighter note I did enjoy the beans and mack & bbq sauce was also good. We left a generous 20% tip even tho I was very annoyed and my husband said we wont ever be back. 80 minutes of time driving from the eastside and going home... for a never again meal bums me out. I wish y'all could have called me back. I did extend that off but was ignored. Also, The only thing our waitress was really good at was apologizing. She did it each time she stood at the table. I had hoped for so much more. Darn. I would not recommend at this time.

Finally checked out Fork and Fire and why have we not come here sooner?! Tried to award winning spicy margarita along with the app sampler! I had the pulled pork and David had the brisket- pro tip: add the coleslaw on your sandwich. We were stuffed so took the desserts to go- but a quick sample at home confirmed they are as good as they look!Staff were all super friendly and attentive. Overall a great place for lunch or dinner!

Started out with free chicharrones that had a bbq type seasoning. Our beverages and the free chicharrones set the tone for what was supposed to be a fabulous meal. Cheese Curds and Crispy Rib Pops were delicious. You can taste the smoke in the meat. Cheese Curd batter was light and both apps cooked perfectly. They have a different happy hour special everyday so thats exciting. Pork tenderloin sandwich a little on the thicker side and a lil dry. Was hoping for more like an Iowa Style Sandwich. The special was a veal sausage topped with Brisket. Veal Sausage just not my cup of tea. Texture issue. There was a lot going on in such a small bun. Would not order it again. They have enough variety on the menu so we still have options. Service was good. . Waiter seemed busy. Straight to the point but not rude. We never waited or had to ask for anything. There patio is huge and they had heaters. Great selection of cocktails and beer. Overall a good experience.

Fork and fire is my favorite BBQ spot in the Tucson area! My go to order is the loaded mac n cheese with pulled pork. My husband enjoyed the brisket plate and chose cheesy whipped potatoes, veggies and cornbread for his sides. I love that they provide you a variety of bottles of bbq sauce on the table. The outdoor seating area has a beautiful view of the mountains and includes fun activities like jenga and jumbo connect four. They also host fun events throughout out the year!

My mom, who never had Southern-style bbq before, and I enjoyed a wonderful meal at Fork & Fire. We were seated in one of the restaurant corners that had a bench. This was very convenient for a party of 2. Our food came out quickly. My mom had the pork tenderloin sandwich, I chose the pulled pork sandwich. The pork tenderloin was not only gigantic (extending beyond the pretzel bun) but also epic in flavor and so very juicy. Just a really beautiful dish that showed great craftsmanship. My pulled pork also was super-flavorful to the point I didn't want it to get smothered in bbq sauce even though their bbq sauce was very tasty as well. If there were just one thing I would recommend is that the pulled pork sandwich should be served a little more temperature hot. But no biggie, the wonderful evening and lovely food we enjoyed made it all worthwhile for us.

I had a fabulous experience with Fork & Fire. I called from Denver and spoke with Ashley, asking for some help with a delivery for my elderly in-laws' 61st Anniversary. Not only did she deliver the food herself, but she went above and beyond expectations to get it there. My in-laws raved about the food and are now asking for more in the future. Not only did I get fantastic service, but it was so nice to run into an individual and a family-owned business that cares about their customers in their community. Not only was the food delicious, they just earned some loyal customers who will visit from Denver as often a they can.
