Flying Leap Vineyards Tasting Room

Quiet atmosphere with knowledgeable staff. Not my favorite tasting and definitely on the pricier side. I would say you could bring a book and read if you wanted to.

Flying leap was a very clean modern and elegant atmosphere that definitely felt elevated. The wine tasting flight wasn't my favorite but it still had some redeeming qualities. Being the most expensive vineyard plays a role. The wine experts were very informative and helpful.

We are happy wine club members at Flying Leap, so we are regulars. Happy to see the hours have stabilized again, because we do really love the wine here. Relaxing, chill atmosphere and great service--Ginger is an absolute treasure.

I had to think about exactly what I was going to write for this, but lets start with: Never have I had such an awkward and horrible experience at a wine tasting. From the moment I walked in, I could feel the negative vibes coming from the lady- I made it clear that I was only planning to have a glass as I was aware they were closing in 20 minutes. At this point she said it was fine to do the tastings as we had time (she didn't seem very sincere). After my second tasting, I asked if I could use another glass because I wanted to take some pictures with a clean glass and she just looked at me weird and said it would be $5, So umm no? I declined and kept my glass. It was just me in there with her & an older man sitting on the couch so things got really awkward and silent. At this point im just trying to finish my tastings and leave! To make some conversation I simply ask "does it get busy" and she had the nerve to answer with a snarky remark "well you came here at the end so everyone already came & left" OKAY I was just trying to make conversation. Again, silence- and the vibes was so obvious i felt very uncomfortable. Now I'm thinking, Umm maybe because I'm not "white" I'm being treated like an outsider? Hopefully this wasn't the case but it sure felt that way! Needless to say, I was VERY dissatisfied with this place as it was the first time I ever felt unwelcome to a winery/tasting room. Mary Lewis was her name, at least that's whats on my receipt.

A fun time tasting with friends! Good local wine. If you want to become a regular, the membership plan is a good deal. Wines were unique and full of surprising tastes that please the palette.

Great Arizona wine. I've recently become a wine member, and am happy with what they offer! I consider myself a little bit of a snob when it comes to wine, but am quite pleased with what Flying Leap has!!! The new habanero chili release that just came out is too good to be true! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, and I enjoy my free glass or tasting when I come in! The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is honestly the hours this tasting room is open. Just 3 days a week and the hours highly conflict with my work schedule which makes it terribly inconvenient. Otherwise I'm a very happy customer, and look forward to visiting regularly.

Love this place!!! Our first time here and we were amazed being from Temecula wine country. We will be back. This is a fun region to wine taste

Nice, relaxing place the wine is amazing. And the staff is very helpful. Great place to relax and have a good glass of wine.

Always love coming to this place - nice to sit out on their front porch/patio, watch the monsoons roll in and enjoy a glass of the Escape!
