Flying Leap Vineyards Tasting Room

I had a very pleasant experience while making a purchase here. I am familiar with their wines so I did not do a tasting, but Julie is super friendly, gregarious, and the perfect host at this location. I look forward to coming back soon. Wonderful.

Flying Leap deserves a zero. They have charged me $551 for my club wine order and yet they are never at the store to pick it in. I drove 2 hours for pick up in Tuscon and no one was there. They have not returned phones calls or responded to 3 emails. So unprofessional and sleezy.

We went to Flying Leap Vineyard's tasting room after having lunch in Tubac and had a fun experience and a great tasting. When we went you could have a full tasting flight for $22.00 or order wine by the glass. The tasting room itself was restricted because of COVID so we found a nice table in their outdoor patio. The staff was very friendly and she took time to tell us about the origins of the winery and the three owners. As she brought each of the different wines for us to taste, she told us about the grapes, the style and shared a little about how the label was created. The wines were very good and diverse in their profiles to provide a nice variety to the tasting.The courtyard was very pleasant on the late fall day we were there and make for a great atmosphere to spend some time as a group and enjoy the tasting.

What a great way to spend Mother's Day!! Julie really took great care of us! We were on our annual mother and daughter reunion vacation and chose Tubac this year. The tasting room and surrounding area was beautiful and we sat under the Ramada for a little shade. Julie was informative, enthusiastic about the wines, and all-around delightful! We really enjoyed our time spent at Flying Leap. Thank you, Julie!!

Julie assisted us during our tasting and it was so lovely! She takes so much pride in creating a positive guest experience and we will definitely be back. You can order wine by the glass, or a flight where you get to keep the wine glass! It made for a wonderful afternoon while exploring Tubac.

Interesting varietals and blends. Server was knowledgeable and friendly, even though we came near to closing time. Knew the wines, and where they were sourced from-always helpful. Good pours, and good wine.
