My husband and I became wine club members a few years. Our favorite tasting room is in Bisbee. Over the years we have experience a few different sommeliers. Linda is running the tasting room now and is a delight. She's knowledgeable, engaging and appreciates pairing wine with the perfect food. They produce quite a variety of high-quality delicious wines and are reasonably priced. The room is cozy and located in such a great little town. There is so much to explore before or after a tasting or a glass of wine. Check it out when in Bisbee. (FYI- Flying Leap is one of the most generous and convenient wine clubs ever!)

We walked over to the Flying Leap tasting room when we had time to kill before a reservation at Cafe Roka, and it was the perfect pit stop. The tasting room is part art gallery, part bar, with a relaxed, intimate feel. The staff member was friendly and knowledgeable about the wines. We had a great chat with one of their wine club members who had stopped by for a tasting.Among the best in Arizona wines, I'm a particular fan of their Mouvedre and Tempranillo, and the petite verdot dessert wine--don't worry, they serve the dessert wine with chocolate.

We just left Flying Leap Tasting Room and had a wonderful experience. Bruce was our sommelier, who was not only knowledgeable about the wines we tasted, he also walked us thru the experience as the wine flavors unfolded in our mouths. I think the biggest downfall of the tasting room was the lack of finger foods. The charcuterie type foods with wine tasting seems to go so well together. Maybe if we'd of had some specialty nuts, olives, cheeses, possibly a meat board, and to end with some local chocolates would have kept us there much longer and we would have spend more. I wanted to experience the whole thing, I hope that makes sense?

Our server made tasting a flight of distillery spirits quite entertaining. I'm. Not much for spirits like this but the experience was fun!

We were in Bisbee for a weekend and stopped here on Sunday. We shared a flight and enjoyed the range of tastes. Savannah was our hostess did a fantastic job of explaining each wine and the history of the winery. She made our day! We are looking forward to enjoying the bottles we purchased at home.

This had to be our worst wine tasting experience ever. The wine was good. The hostess was rude and appeared to be citing from memory. We were the only ones in the room at the time. She was more interested in drinking her own drink than in serving us. She Sped us through the tasting and pushed us out the door. My wife said she felt like she was used. We would not recommend this place to anyone.

My husband and I stepped in here and shared the price of one tasting, which they had no problem with. They offered us 2 white, and 4 red wines to taste for a cost of $10. I've only come across a few tasting rooms that let you keep the glass at the end, and luckily this is one of them! Makes a great souvenir, and you'll always remember the name of the winery by keeping it. Besides water, they also offered oyster crackers and chocolate chips to snack on to balance out all the wine. And their wines were nice, although we decided not to bring any home on this trip. But still a great tasting room to step into while visiting Bisbee!

My friends and I visited this tasting room and it was one of the best tastings I've ever been to! Minnie, the woman serving us is incredibly hospitable and the wine is delicious. You even get to take your wine glass home with you! Great place all around :)

Great little tasting room. The wine is exceptional, and Linda did a really nice job of talking about the wine. We purchased 2 bottles; which discounted the cost of our tasting. Only suggestion would be for them to make soda crackers available to cleanse the pallet between tastings.. We walked down the street to buy our own.

My boyfriend and I were in Bisbee for a couple of days last week. While he took the mine tour I did the wine tasting here. For $10 you get to taste six wines and keep a logo'd wine glass. I have done tastings at other Arizona winery's and have generally found the whites to be better than the reds. The guy serving the wine told me the owners were in the Air Force, hence the name. If you look at their logo it looks like a propeller. I like wine but I'm not an expert in it nor do I know all of the proper terminology but I do know that I like crisp dry whites and smooth medium to strong flavored dry reds. I don't like a lot of tannins and I often don't taste the fruits that are described in the literature. The wine tasting included both whites and reds. I don't remember a lot about the tasting but found several of them compelling enough that I ended up buying three bottles:2012 Verdelho (white)2011 Graciano (red)2012 Estate Tempranillo (red)We had the Verdelho with a fish dinner the other night and it was perfect. The Tempranillo is actually the prior vineyard owners wine (the current owners bought the stock along with the winery).
