Flora's Dry Cleaners & Alterations

I went in with a wool pea jacket and she quoted me $50.!!!!!I don't think so! I guess I'll have to go to Tucson. In PHX it would have maybe been $20. Are they nuts??

I'm not a weekly "regular..." I'm not in need of pressed clothes as often now, however there's more to dry cleaning than clothes. Floras' is HANDS DOWN my go to place for my larger (won't fit in washer) blankets and drapes/curtains. I have ventured out in the past to other cleaners and the results would make you cringe. From the cost, to residue leftovers... disappointing is an understatement. I am very thankful and impressed with the team/folks that work at Floras. I have no complaints! Only praise. My items come back looking new! Refreshed! I also appreciate their work with our men and women in uniform. Kudos.

We have been using Flora's Dry cleaning for several years. Recently the establishment relocated and it was only down the street. The service is fast, dependable and all her staff members are professional. In fact, last year Flora's Dry Cleaning provided a special green re-cycle-able bag to use for taking in and returning our clean clothes. This is just one example of how this company shows its appreciation to long-term customers. I recommend Flora's Dry cleaning to anyone who values a great local service. The price for dry cleaning is reasonable and the location is convenient for anyone working on Ft. Huachuca or within the Sierra Vista area. Thank you Flora Dry Cleaning for a job well done!

We needed a set of JROTC uniforms dry cleaned for turn in at the end of the school year, so we tried Flora's. The price is very reasonable and the most impressive is the customer service. We called to check if it's to late to pick up the uniforms as they were due for turn in the next day. Flor kept the shop open and waited for us. This is a business that really understand it's customer and community.Conveniently located on Fry Bvld. Quality cleaning and superb service. A well thought out business serving the military community and the local area.Highly recommend to all fellow yelpers!

POOR Customer Service- Customer Beware ticket pick up time is ONLY an ESTIMATE, they can keep your property longer by policy ! ~ Shady Business~I took two shirts here to be altered, the ticket read that the items will be ready after 4pm Wednesday. Went in Thursday around NOON, and was told they would now be ready after 4pm Thursday.... Completely wasted my time and money driving in. A simple 30 second phone call yesterday or that morning telling me about the delay on their end would have sufficed and not inconvienced me. God forbid you need your items by the actual day/time printed on your ticket, this business may screw you for that too.When I inquired about remedying the situation that they caused, they instead gave a petty small print answer that all alterations have a possible 1 week to 2 week finish time .... so that pick up time printed on your receipt is only an estimate... What?????They use that small print disclaimer to cover their ass when they mess up and will not do the right thing to even offer a discount on your bill! ..... So beware if you drop off uniforms here, maybe they want to keep them for a few extra days or even a week and play soldier with your property...The owner did offer a free delivery once my items were finished but I'd rather not wait around and waste more of my time for whenever they would decide to show up and I'd rather you not know where I lived.... I'll be using another dry cleaner in town from now on.

My initial interactions at Flora's was fine. Dropped off my clothing to get cleaned. When I went to pick it up I walked in and saw a short gentleman with glasses who worked there. I said very loudly good morning. He said nothing and I stared at him as I approached the counter. He said nothing, didn't look at me in my eyes and reached out his hand. I did and said nothing. He then said, are you picking up. I said yes. I brought a hat to get altered. after he brought my clothing he asked if I was dropping something off. I said no, paid, took my clothing and left. I will never go back to Flora's. As simple as it may sound, it was a purposeful disrespect. There were no other customers, no other business operations going on. I will take my business elsewhere. It is unfortunate because I am sure there are other employees that are respectful. But this one ruined it for them.

These stars are for the owner. I appreciate her calling my husband and apologizing to him with what had happened. My husband and I will reconsider bringing our clothes there to dry clean, as the dry cleaning was done really well. I just refused to be serviced by that same employee ever again.

What an amazing service to military and public in general. These guys went out of their way to ensure I was happy and completed the alterations overnight, even pressed my coat while I waited. They offer a 10% Military discount and will pickup and drop off on post. If you ever need dry cleaning or alterations, don't think of going anywhere else. Thanks guys for you support and service.

STAY FAR AWAY FROM HERE, I took in 2 suit pants. I got them back a lot sooner than I was expecting. I went to go pick them up. They were all in normal dry cleaning bags, with no way or I thought of reason to inspect them. I have done dry cleaning for years. I have never had a problem getting something dry cleaned. I didn't where my suit pants for a couple of weeks, since I didn't need them. I only wear them very little, only once a week. a couple hours 1 day a week. I had a special event to, so I opened up my suit pants from there dry cleaning bags, since I wanted to take care of them the best I could by leaving them in there dry cleaning bags until I needed to wear them. I decided to wear my black suit for the special event, I put .on my black suit pants that go with the suit coat. I was putting my shoes on and noticed 2 big holes about 1 inch each on the left leg of the suit pants around. The thigh area, I thought that's odd. I make a good income and can afford to dress nice if I want to. I want look professional and act professional at all times. I don't feel professional in a suit with 2 holes in the front of the suit pant very easy to see. I also noticed my button by the front zipper was missing, and there was no thread or marking showing a button was once there, which it obviously was before I had it dry cleaned. I was curious if my.other blue pant suits were ok, they had a huge hole atleast 3 inches big in the crotch area. I decided to bring them back to Flora's Dry Cleaning, since before I brought these suits in they were perfectly fine, since I bought them new at Dillard's recently within the last 2 years, and take very good care of my suits. I took them back to Flora's Dry Cleaning I saw the same person working there the day I originally brought my 4 suits to be dry cleaned, I showed him my suit pants. I said these are $900 suits from Dillard's I recently bought, they were in perfect condition when I brought them in, now have 2 holes and a missing button in the black suit pants, and a huge hole in the blue suit pants. I figured the suits cost $900, I figured the suit coat was $450, and the pants $450. My suit coats were fine, and my other suit pants were fine. Just these 2 suit pants were the problem. The person working there put the owner I believe Flora on the phone asking me about my situation, So the next day, Flora I believe the business owner calls me, she actually told me it happened after I got them dry cleaned. That somehow while in the dry cleaning bags they Flora's Dry Flora or the owner said I was must touched something or did something to create these holes, that when they left Flora's Dry Cleaning, they were in perfect condition, that now I have had the suits 3 weeks, which I just verified looking at my account I picked up and paid for my 4 suits at Flora's Dry Cleaning April 8th, so almost 3 weeks, but not quite, and I got the multiple holes in my suits after I picked them up. The 4 suits were handed to me in dry cleaning bags, I kept them all 4 in the dry cleaning bags until I decided to wear them, then noticed the 3 big holes, 2 in one suit pant, and 1 huge in one in another. I am shocked at the owners or Flora's dishonesty, after yesterday on the phone telling me She is very professional and if she happens to damage a clothing item, she contacts the customer right away and explain what happened and offers store credit. I was telling my wife. Why would I want store credit at a place the damages my clothes. I was hoping for a good outcome today how her staff is very professional. Which obviously she is not professional at ALL. Horrible experience, stay far away from here. After this experience, save your hard earned money and don't have you clothes damaged by Flora's Dry Cleaning
