I had a great experience living here for five years!There are two complexes with one right on the corner and another a little ways down on the left. Both have gated entries and felt quite secure. There were some issues with the gates not working, but soon after I moved in they seemed to get that squared away. There is ample covered parking, and I never had a problem finding a space. They have a large pool inside the larger of the two complexes as well as a decent-sized 24/7 gym with free weights and cardio equipment. While I was living there they made various improvements to the complex including installing a whole outdoor kitchen/grill area at the pool. They really seemed interested in keeping the complex updated.The one bedroom apartment is modern and comfortable with a washer/dryer inside the apartment which is awesome. The bathroom is also huge! Maintenance issues were always handled extremely quickly and are easy to submit on their website.When you renew your lease for another year they offer a free carpet cleaning, plus you can select an apartment upgrade as well. Over the years I had updated kitchen track lighting as an upgrade as well as some other things I don't remember (I do remember upgraded showerhead, ceiling fan lighting kit, and curved shower curtain rod as possible choices).The office staff are always friendly and responsive. I would highly recommend this complex!

I do not recommend this business to family and friends.So my main issue is Finisterra's business practices are shady and dishonest. I started by pricing out the apartment I wanted to rent on their website which came in around mid $900s for a 6 month lease. After talking to them and filling out some of the initial paperwork they raised the price and the term to $1004 for 12 months. Let me say that I do have some crazy good credit (like near perfect). So then after that we went in to sign the lease and they raised the price by over $100 again.They also tried to lie and say the price was always over $1100 but they must of forgotten that we had paperwork that showed our originally quoted price. I've caught them in 3 lies straight up, right before we signed the lease.They are strictly out to hussle people. I'm still thinking about reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. Very dishonest company that you should not give your money to!

Lived here for three years- the property itself is safe and pleasant, but lots of the smaller details (plumbing, light fixtures, quality of countertops etc) are of questionable quality. Additionally the office staff is polite to your face, but care about nothing other than the money, and will do everything in their power to inflate their costs and fees, especially when it comes to move out fees, termination fees, and/or transfer fees. If you are looking to rent from reasonable human beings, look elsewhere. Otherwise, be prepared to be taken advantage of at every moment. The staff does not care about you- only their bottom line. Would not recommend.

Today I had the pleasure of meeting the kindest caring and patient leasing consultant that I can honestly say I've ever met Her name is Haley Simmons and works at Finisterra Apartments. This sweet girl right off the bat made me feel like I mattered, she patiently listened to my concerns, what I was looking for in an apartment, due to having a traumatic brain injury I have my concerns and am sometimes slow at finding the right words to explain what my needs are and what I really need when it comes to finding a home. I literally fell apart as I was struggling to explain my situation and this precious girl treated me like I was family, listening to my cares about moving into the right place where hopefully I can begin to heal from the trauma of the last year. Haley took the time to walk me around, showing me exactly what my apartment would look like, explaining all the details of charges. By the time we were done I have come to realize this is where I need to be. This is where I will be safe and where I know there are people who work here that genuinely care. The property is beautiful! I cannot believe it was built in2005. The grounds are spotless!! I don't have words to express how much it meant to me today to actually be treated like a human being, like a real person. When you have a TBI it's difficult because sometimes people just don't take the time to listen or explain things maybe twice even because your brain needs time to process things. Haley you are a kind compassionate person and definitely an asset to this property! This is sb I would give them a 0 but I can't so I give them a 1... and here is why. I was living there for about a year and when I first moved I was very excited but then our dish washer never worked , our roof would leak (and this is all with in my first MONTH of living here) and they would never send there plumbers after several times saying they would. Very rude people, neighbors, just a terrible living experience but the only good thing was the gym.

Whoever the gal is who replaced Kinzie told me personally that she completed my move-out inspection and that everything was perfect. She then proceeded to keep part of my deposit due to a dirty exterior fridge door and bathtub. I tried multiple times to get a walkthrough but was denied due to "COVID", despite staff not wearing masks and not social distancing. If this gal had bothered to do her job and assess my move-in inspection form, which she obviously didn't do, she would have seen that I noted paint and some other substance on the fridge door. She lied to me about getting my money back in full; I had a feeling this was going to happen given my interactions with her. If someone who isn't her would get ahold of me, I will send you a 30-minute long, high-definition video of the condition of my apartment on move-out day, which includes close-up footage of the fridge door and bathtub, and you can give me my money back. Why this new manager would risk bad reviews and word-of-mouth to put $40 worth of bogus cleaning charges on a client's bill is beyond me.It's not really about the money, but the general principle, and it speaks volumes about the character of management. I was creeped out by it and definitely won't be returning here when I head back to Tucson for work.

My family and I moved in a little over a month ago, and love living here. We have unusual needs and are not used to even thinking of asking for anything exceptional to meet those needs in previous rentals over the years. So Finisterra's staff has been a genuinely amazing surprise for us. Our washing machine had mildew embedded in the ring that is not easily seen, but I found it, as I was hunting for it just smelling that all too familiar snell. Mildew is really hard on us...my son in particular. And bleach really wrecks my son who has neurological issues, which is what is usually used to eliminate mildew. When maintenance came, I knew that's what they would bring up to fix the issue, however, though I felt a bit lame in letting them know we can not have bleach used in the house, but for my son's sake I had to let them know and stand on that as a mom. Maintenance said they'd let the office know, and that replacing it was the only other option if they couldn't get it out with perhaps another cleaning solution. The housekeeping woman came and tried and was genuinely bummed to not be able to get it out. Sweet woman. When the maintenance men left to let the office know what was up I just started praying and let my husband know what was going on and so he also was praying while at work. We really didn't want to be a problem, and also have to do some back and forth for a while over it, but our kids are of course more important than possibly having to talk over it all with the office, and also however we may be seen or thought of as. We also needed the transition strip to be secured better to the floor in the entry as my daughter has a hard time getting around and at times uses canes to do so. Which they were quick to make an appointment with the company they use to do that. The maintenance men came back with a washer to replace ours only moments later! And to our even greater surprise, it was brand new still in the box!! No questions asked, so no back and forth at all! Samantha from the office just called before hand to see if I would be available to have it put in that same day. It was amazing. We have never experienced such understanding, timelines and kindness from anywhere else, any other property that we have lived, and we have lived all over the place having been in the military for 15 years and having been married for 25 years. Long review I know, but this place and it's management and all employees from the office to the maintenance and the housekeeping truly deserve a five star review...and HUMONGOUS hugs all aroundThanks again, all who work to keep this place here at Finisterra great, and your residents needs and living conditions in mind going above and beyond.
