Fatboy Sandos

My daughter and I were shopping today and stopped by Fatboy Sandos for some lunch. We shared a fruit and cream sando and a chicken katsu curry sando, plus my daughter got a soft drink. The fruit and cream sando was delicious but the chicken katsu curry sando was FABULOUS with all caps! Everything from the delicious milk bread, the crunchy chicken katsu, the red cabbage and the sauce was just perfect!The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is the price. Our total with 20% tip was almost $30 for what should have been a meal for one. We only shared because there was another place we wanted to try too. Good stuff but for the portion size, the price is a bit much.

I decided to try this place for lunch. I was not sure what to order so I decided to try the pork katsu bento box. It is a Pork cutlet fried in panko, drizzled with Japanese mayo and Tonkatsu sauce, served over 2 scoops of fluffy sushi rice. The pork was tender and the panko gave it a crunch, but the sauce was not to my liking. I ate a couple of pieces and found myself picking at the rice . I did enjoy the furikake fries! The fries were the hit of the box. They were crunchy and had good flavor. I believe this is a place where once you find your favorite box or sandwich you will be a regular, but are you willing to explore/ spend money until you find your favorite item?

It's a nice addition to the mall. Service was quick and friendly. I had the Japanese egg salad Sando. It's a nice presentation with plenty of egg salad, but the bread was dry. I'll try the fruit Sandi's next time, fresh fruit and cream.

Consistently delicious rice bowls and milk bread sandwiches. Be prepared to wait 15 minutes for your food. Portions are hearty.

Okay , wanted to love this place but waiting 20 minutes for 2 sandwiches = 2 stars. That is without tasting the sandwiches which we ordered to take home. Chicken Curry and Chicken Katsu. One person in front of us , so I would understand is it was swamped but no. When I taste the sandwich later,it better be solid gold for that kind of wait!

I have been wanting to try this place really long time and I finally found it at Park Place. I ordered the pork Katsu as well as one of their sweet strawberries and cream sando. They were very busy and I still received my order promptly now the pork Katsu was amazing super crunchy super fresh with the slaw they put in there the sauce, everything is just perfect. However they forgot to give me my my strawberry Sando and I didn't notice until I was halfway home since it was in order to go and it was in a bag.

Thrilled to have Fatboy Sandos at Park Place. All the sandos are yummy but have to say favorite is still the strawberry and cream. The staff here are really nice and informative, unlike the previous food service place that was in this exact location before. This is definitely an awesome addition to the already great food selections at Park Place Mall food court. It's definitely a convenient sandwich stop either prior or after a movie at the theater here. Overall, kudos to Fatboy Sandos for upholding consistency and quality of the food in all of their branch locations.

There is nothing less enjoyable than coming to a mall, enjoying the vibes and atmosphere... and then obscure crappy bass coming from the fatboy Sandos across the food court. You can't actually tell what is playing so it's just annoying music playing for an empty line.:/

One of the best poke places in Tucson. The portion for ahi tuna was huge and really good quality! Plus plenty of rice and furikake seasoning. The onigiri and fruit sandwich was also delicious! The sides of fries and cucumber kimchi were decent but not a must try. I'll definitely return to eat the poke and hopefully try the salmon poke. They were unfortunately not selling it when I came.

Located inside the Park Place Mall food court, Fatboy Sandos is an amazing concept. I've loved this place since their original food truck. Try a Fatboy Masubi and an Egg Salad or Pork Katsu Sando. Great vegan options also.
